Gone to the Dogs & Cats!

This is the best pet company, dog walker, and pet loving owner ever! Gone to the Dogs & Cats has become a part of our family and we are appreciative of its owner for caring for our Mom’s dog during vacations, family occasions, joys, and life’s struggles. We couldn’t have cared for my mom’s dog or my mom as well without Gone to the Dogs & Cats. It’s been at least 10 years and my mom and our entire family are eternally grateful!

Have used these guys for a couple years now. Ariela has done a fantastic job for us and we feel very comfortable while we are away. Our cat started having issues the day before our last trip. There were lots of meds involved and she ended up having to go to the vet for us to pick some more up. It was a hard job, but everything ended up fine.
Always great communications and things are always in good shape when we get home.

I can’t recommend Katie and Travis enough. Leaving my furry little boys is never easy but I know that they’re in good hands with Gone to the Dogs & Cats!

So glad that the first service i called 4 years ago was booked. Don’t know what I would do with out Katie and her excellent service. For a couple who both travel for work and play, very often i have never had one problem with Katie and her service. My babies are well looked after and its nice to know someone you can trust is going to your house while you are away. Its like 2 great services in one.

Katie failed to turn up at the agreed upon date and time to feed my cat while I was out of state. Luckily my ex had come to the house and discovered the cat wasn’t fed, so he fed him. We’ve used Katie’s pet sitting service three times for our two dogs, and every time has been a great experience. Our dogs are old, and it works better for them to be able to leave them in their familiar environment for our quick weekend trips. Her pricing is very reasonable/​comparable to any other boarding place for dogs. She texted us updates with every visit as well as the occasional picture. Would highly recommend Gone to the Dogs & Cats! for pet sitting needs.

What a Godsend! I have had family members taking care of my cat when we went away on vacation and every time there has always been some sort of drama! My poor cat, Simba, has been locked in the bathroom (leaving me with carpet ripped to shreds, doors scuffed, and blinds destroyed, from him trying to get out), family members have locked themselves out of the house, they said they would check on the cat, but don’t…Simba and I had finally had enough! I was very skeptical about giving a complete stranger access to my home when we are away, but I have to say it was the best decision ever! Katie and Ariela came to the home for a consult and made me feel completely at ease! Wow, Simba was so well taken care of! Ariela sent me texts letting me know he was fine. She picked up the newspaper from the front of the house that my husband forgot to cancel, and they even were willing to turn lights on and off, but mostly, I had a reliable pet sitter that took amazing care of my pet! Besides making sure he was fed and watered, Ariela gave him belly rubs; she brushed and played with him, but mostly, just gave him love and companionship while we were gone! I couldn’t help but think he had a look of disappointment on his face when we walked in and not Ariela! Thank you for not only taking wonderful care of my pet, but for giving me piece of mind and the ability to relax on vacations once again!

Katie is wonderful. Cares deeply for the animals, completely responsible and timely, and great feedback. She has been walking and caring for my yellow lab for 3 years now and I wouldn’t hesitate to refer her to anyone who is looking for the best in pet care.

Agree with the other reviews — Katie has taken care of our cats and always does a fantastic job. The cats are well cared for and always seem to have been very entertained (i.e. they don’t complain when we get home!). She’s completely reliable and very conscientious. I highly recommend her pet sitting service!

I 100% agree with the previous two comments — I can’t say enough good things about Gone to the Dogs and Cats! Both Katie and Kristy have «puppy-​sat» my two dogs for me — and the experience has been incredible. They are very reliable, the dogs LOVE them and I have nothing but peace of mind knowing that they are taking care of my dogs when I’m out of town. My dogs aren’t the easiest to care for, but Katie and Kristy are pros, and handle them wonderfully. Also, my place is actually cleaner when I come back than it was when I left, so that’s a really nice bonus :).
I know I’ll be out of town in February and April next year and booking Katie or Kristy is one of the first things I’ll do when I figure out dates.

Katie is the owner and operator of Gone to the Dogs (& Cats)! There’s not much I can say about her except WOW. She is an amazing pet sitter, charges great rates, and does it all. My cats could not love her more. She sends regular updates via email and text, calls if there is a problem, picks up food and litter when/​if needed, comes even when the streets are covered in snow, has now actually made an emergency deposit to my bank account for me (no, seriously), and will also take care of your plants. Her rates are totally reasonable and I trust her implicitly, and it is clear she has a love for animals that may possibly even rival my own. I would recommend her to anyone, any time, for any sort of animal. If you need a pet sitter, house sitter, or dog walker, I urge you to check out her web site and give her a call!
