Renton Frame & Wheel Alignment-Vic’s

I’ve been through there with 5 cars now, he puts those things on rails. Just got my new 2012 Sequoia aligned and it has tricky air suspension. Perfect FORTY BUCKS!

Brought it in, they immediately took it back and aligned it, was in and out in less than 30 minutes. They did exactly what I asked of them, which was only a front toe adjustment, without trying to pressure me into replacing parts or getting anything else fixed like a lot of shops will do,. Only charged me $ 20 too since he didn’t have to adjust anything but toe.
Will definitely be back in the future, a far cry from your average chain shops, and cheaper too.

Called, booked an appointment for an alignment. I arrived 10 minutes early and as soon as the technician was back from lunch they took my car right in. I said I wasn’t sure how bad it was and if I had done some serious damage to my tires. 15 minutes later it was done, he said my «parts looked good» and I would «eventually need new tires but there was no need to rotate them or do anything about it now.» First time in a long time an auto place didn’t try to tack on something extra. $ 43 and I was gone. Small place, but honest and easy to work with. Will definitely go back.

I recently went there for my car’s alignment and wasnt sure if I needed for both front and rear or just front. I dropped the car with them and while I got it back, they told me that they did it only for front since rear was good. I really liked their honesty. I am sure at some others might have charged me for both.
The prices are so good and tough to beat. I agree with some other Unilocalers that this is an old fashioned shop but they are good at what they do.

The man on the phone with me was gruff when I made the appointment for my car. However, once I was there the guys were nice and quick about their work.
I’m glad I read the reviews before going, beacause I never carry cash on me. All in all an old fashioned car place. I’ll be going back because the price was right and they where quick.

old timey local shop. nice guys. no gimmicks or up-​sells. still $ 40 for front end alignment. no credit cards accepted but BofA atm across the street.

Hit a curb in the ice, my steering was really messed up and car was pulling to the right. Firestone wanted over $ 300, Midas wouldn’t touch it and said it might cost $ 800 to fix, so I took it to Vic’s. Within 15 minutes of dropping it off, they called me with a quote. $ 155. I about cried. They fixed my car, did not do unnecessary work and my car drives beautifully now. Mike was so nice, they are very laid back, no frills. Cash or check only, but they will give you a free estimate. Would definitely go back, and would refer all my friends here. Worth the drive to Renton.

It was a great experience going there!!! I got into a minor accident last night, and knew that I needed an alignment, as my steering was now about 3+ inches off of where it normally was. I called around this area, and Schwab wouldn’t be able to get me in today, or that they could look at my car without me leaving my car with them all day… The guys at Vics were able to get me in immediately, looked at my car, and gave me a course of action to get it all fixed. Once I get a new rim, then they can do the alignment… All within 40 minutes of when I showed up. Their prices are really reasonable, too. I will be going back when I need work done. :)

Gets the job done, albeit with stone age tools, at a price which can’t be beat.

Mike test drove my car. Within 200 feet he knew I had tire tread separation. Didn’t charge me a cent and I was out of there in less than 5 minutes! Thanks Unilocal for finding this place.

Vehicle was pulling hard to one side. I took it in for a $ 40 alignment job. After examination they told me some parts (bearings?) were completely shot and an alignment job was pointless until the parts were replaced. At a cost of more than $ 600.
Got a second opinion. Turned out the pulling to one side was caused by a defect in one of the tires. Tire replaced, problem gone. Shot or not, the bearings had nothing to do with the problem I was having.
So how do we rate this kind of experience? On the plus side, they did not go ahead and do an alignment job that, in their opinion, would not have fixed my problem. On the down side, they misdiagnosed the problem and recommended a service that would have been very expensive and would not have fixed the problem.
I refrain from giving 1 star because it was probably an honest mistake, and $ 40 for an alignment job is very reasonable.
