I called Dale for an overall tune up; I needed to upgrade my wireless network and get better speed and performance out of my computers and printers. He was available on short notice, answered late night queries from Frye’s to make sure I was buying the right components, got my printer working well again, installed memory upgrades, helped me delete unwanted programs, and answered a bazillion questions. I found Dale to be professional, knowledgeable, easy to talk to about technology, and good at his work. I will definitely retain his services again and I plan to recommend him to my friends. Good IT guys are hard to come by. And Dale is REALLY good.

I am a small business owner. I am not a techno geek and have never claimed to be so. I hate bugging my techie friends for mundane questions that are child’s play to them but is anxiety ridden and complicated TO ME. I just want a practical and price effective solution to my issue, not an overpriced geek squad dude who takes longer to get scheduled than my actual issue.
Dale, however, came to the salon I work at and (in a little under an hour) he had my Wifi quandry figured out. I had messed up the utility or something and he simply redid my utility tool bar and explained to me what I needed to do to use my Wifi. Thus saving me extra internet charges for when I want to use my netbook when I have eaten up data with streaming movies-(yah, I have unlimited on the smartphone but sprints additional tech line has a data cap.) If I am about to leak over my data limit, I will traverse to a starbucks or other free wifi to get my extra work or movie watching done there.
Dale didn’t only just show me in person, he followed up with a detailed, idiot proof email on what he reviewed with me. Now granted, not every job can be easily summed up in a quick email but the added touch was unexpected and reassuring.
I will never call one of those corporate box store techno brats ever again. Dale is much more patient and understanding. I recommend Tech Shop to anyone who has felt disenfranchised by traditional PC support!
