We provide a child centered, stimulating learning environment for children in the community. We provide a safe, caring & accepting family-​like atmosphere, all while valuing where each child is in their development. We nurture internally motivated learners, who are effective problem solvers, critical thinkers and children who possess proficient communication skills. We educate the whole child, addressing the social, emotional, creative, physical and collaborative aspects of education. We create a learning community that invites and engages all teachers, administrators, students and families who are interested and committed to working together toward building a caring, supportive and successful environment for all its children. Buonora Child Development Centers opened their doors in 1988, a vision of educator Brenda Buonora. Programs for children 18 mos +, preschool program, Summer Camp, and Winter/​Spring break program as well as an After School Program.

History

Established in 1988.

We have been providing quality Child Care for children since 1988 through our preschool program. We also provide Early Intervention Services for children with special needs since 1996. We have two locations in the San Fernando Valley and one in Palmdale. We focus on the development of the whole child, and we emphasize a hands-​on, child centered approach to learning starting at 18 months. Please take time to learn about the programs we provide.
