You have to buy 4 bundles just to get a thick looking weave… soon as I seen the hair I didn’t even bother to try it the lack of hair in the bundles is rediculous one bundle will give you like 3 rows of hair that’s it. Sending back asap I’ll stick with the ALI JULIA on Amazon 7A grade hair 3 bundles for $ 129 and the hair is fabulous. Never again and they can keep my 20% which is a rip off for restocking fee. If you are the type to buy 3 – 4 bundles and pay $ 700 then this hair is for you. For me not worth that much it didn’t feel that high of quality at all. Bollywood curly is what I ordered. Skimpy. Can’t even cover but up to the crown with two bundles sad.

I started buying hand-​tied custom weft extensions (24″ Italian, 3 shades of blonde woven in) way back in 1986. Yes, the prices were awesome… and the quality of the long blonde hair was consistently beautiful. All of us who modeled swimwear at the beach, bought tons of wefts from EP. The quality of the blonde wefts didn’t start to go downhill until around 2004. We all noticed the changing texture of the hair… not silky and soft like my own long blonde hair. Instead, it was courser hair that matted, tangled, and had a very short life span because of the excessive breakage and shedding. Additionally, the low lights that were in the wefts totally faded back to brassy blonde. My colorist was unable to re-​weave low lights into the wefts because EP does not use traditional hair color… they use fabric dye. I’ve continued trying to buy custom blended 18 – 20 inch blonde wefts from EP over the ensuing years (up to 2016) but have never gotten the beautiful hair that I bought for well over 20 years from them. The problem is apparently because now the «original hair» is Indian hair, which has to be wayyyyyyyyy over-​processed to achieve the blonde shades… but is still Indian hair! The hair is thick, course, and not naturally silky like Caucasian light brown or blonde hair. My long blonde hair will absolutely NOT blend in with this Indian hair. Most of my latest weft purchases have ended up being donated to cancer patients who need temporary hair. I noticed that almost all of the EP hair reviews are NOT from blondes!!! I’d love to read some feedback from EP customers who buy (bought) custom blonde wefts from EP :)

I have hesitated on writing a review for about a year now. I love Extensions Plus hair-​BUT they NEVER have the hair I need in stock. NEVER. I usually wear the relaxed/​and or silky relaxed texture in color 3A, as that is the hair that matches my texture and color. However, they have not had that particular hair in stock for going on TWO YEARS. I call at least once a week, and they NEVER HAVE IT IN STOCK. They usually tell me to check back because they should be getting a shipment in a couple of weeks… but they have not had this hair in TWO YEARS. They usually only have the color 1B. What about people who have a hair color other than that!!! At this point it is ridiculous. I am so disappointed.

I had to return a $ 185 small zig zag wavy no lip closure. My stylist couldn’t work the style I wanted with it. Although the products and service are excellent; I stand by my previous review; the return policy is one way to gouge free money out of customers that basically return unused, new condition products. I’m sure EP makes a killing taking 20% of customers hard earned money just to place an item back in stock. And while the policy is very clear on the site & receipt; it doesn’t make it any easier to swallow. Just plain greed on the company’s behalf.

La’Trice at Extensions Plus is amazing! She deserves a 6 out of 5 stars! During chemo buying a wig is overwhelming. She was able to understand my needs and kindly guide me through the process with the result that I’m thrilled with my wig and the compliments I’m receiving. She is the best!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. TWICE I’ve had problems with them. My stylist in the DC area regularly orders from here and spends lots of money ordering hair. Last year they sent a WIG instead of tracks that I ordered; this year the order I paid for somehow has gotten lost and they have not been able to tell my stylist or me where or when it should arrive. Very disappointed in them. Something has changed because it hasn’t always been this way. I will be purchasing my hair elsewhere.

I’ve been going to EP for years. I love their hair and out of all the brands I’ve tried, their hair has been the best, most durable, most unique, most realistic hair extensions. They match my hair perfectly. I always use Latrice in the last several years as the first time I ordered 7 years ago, they sent me the wrong color for 2 bundles. I had to fly there and do an exchange to ensure I got the right ones. I vowed to only go in store from that point. Latrice is the best. She knows what I like and gets me what I need. I’m not sure what I would do without her. She definitely goes over and above for her clients. They sell online but given the price of the hair and the options, I find it best to call and work with someone to make sure you get what you need.

I had a great experience at Extensions Plus, and it was all because of Latrice. A good friend directed me to ask specifically for her to help get me set up with a custom fall, after she experienced issues with some of the other employees. I’m so glad I listened because Latrice was amazing to work with… knowledgeable, helpful, took her time, and made sure everything was perfect. My fall was ready in less than a week! It looked beautiful and am excited to put it to use. Will definitely go back!

The hair is great, but their restocking fees for a return are pretty ridiculous. If there were a comparable company, I would definitely switch. I’ve been buying hair from them for about 7 years. Really wish there was a different option. Also, I purchase a full wig not even a year ago for $ 1000+ only wore it for a month on and off and the hair was horrible. Forgot about that. Please suggest any other options, if possible.

Great quality hair. I’ve been going here for years and they’ve always been very accommodating and helpful. They’re a little pricey, but worth the extra money.

This review is long overdue. I have been shopping at EP for over 10 years. 99% of my business has been through visits to the store. I have always been extremely pleased with the hair. I have purchased hair from different vendors in the past but never has the quality matched that of EP. As the years pass, I have spent more and more money at EP and it never ceases to amaze me how bad their customer service is. I have never had a good visit c/​s wise at EP. The problem is, you spend so much money, you expect to be treated with value. However my customer service experience is no different then what I experience when I buy food at a fast food place.
The women there are so removed from connecting with their clients. It’s like you are such a bother. Or just another number. Lately I’ve noticed all their customer centric campaigns. Lots of smiling faces… never been my experience there. Even the smallest smile didn’t seem genuine. I even visited during one of their tent sales. Stood in line for an hour to spend over $ 1K. But they didn’t care. Even went to their back room «styling salon» which was so nasty and dirty, with spoiled food everywhere.
So the last purchase I decided to order online. Even though they are a few minutes away, I just couldn’t stomach another visit. I’ll pay the shipping fee. I placed my order, got my notification from PayPal, but didn’t receive an email from EP. Days later still nothing. Then when I decide OK let me call them, the hair shows up in the mail. No order or shipping confirmation. And I know they had my email because I kept getting their promo emails, and my account is linked to my email.
My suggestion to EP, I know you are spending a lot of money to gain more business. Focus on hiring a consultant to help with your c/​s training. It’s nice that you are trying to bolster your online image. But your flagship store needs internal revamping. Also noticed over the years the same women working there. It’s clear that some are family or friends that are hired. Trust me, some of these women, while they may have experience, they may need to go.

Extensions plus has consistantly provided excellent products with deep discounts and unbeatable customer service. I recently placed an order over labor day only to find out that my local postal office had lost a previous package. Henry in shipping went out of his way to accomodate me. He made sure my complex name was on the package and even requested the package be held at the main facility for pick up. He dealt with my panic and kept me informed on his end every step of the way. Awesome customer experience!!!

I took out my install yesterday and i have to say this is the best hands down. The hair withstood salt water and bachelorette shenanigans. There was barely any tangles and the little i had (from keeping in ponytails and not brushing for days) melted off with a tiny bit of argan oil. Too much oil can cause it to be greasy to just a bit is fine.
Im glad i made the decision to wear EP for my wedding! Blending was super easy and i didnt have to use a whole lot of heat on my own hair. I used edge cream and most of the time i used nothing because im not a fan of laying and frying my edges to death. The health of my hair comes before weave being laid!

ZERO to 20 below… this hair is worst than going to the beauty supply store! don’t do it. It was soft and no shredding when I got it, but I still was not happy; because it wasn’t full. Really thin… Same day I tried to dye the hair and it tangled and matted. I bought ZigZag Wavy… Please take this review to heart because this hair is bad! DO NOT waste your money. I should have known this was some boot leg hair.

I would have given zero starts but that’s not possibleOrder hair and they sent the wrong color. Sent it back. Re-​Orderd over $ 700 worth of hair from Extensions Plus. Received it, had it installed (weft), had it cut — now I am over $ 1,000 into this and three days and a wash later it is a frizzy mess.
Called and spoke to Esmerelda on October 10^th. She said they don’t take it back after it’s been cut and to see the disclaimer on my receipt. I tell her I see that but the hair is not wearable. Tell her I have used cheap hair that has held up better than this and essentially, this is not fit to be used for the purpose it was sold for. She argues with me about how I’ve not cared for it properly. I tell her I have been wearing extensions for a while and know how to care for it, etc. She says she will send me their shampoo and to use it and if I still have a problem, to call back. What am I to do in the meantime? I can only braid this frizzy mess and nothing else?
It’s October 29^th — Haven’t received the shampoo. Called yesterday to speak to Esmerelda and was put on hold and she never picked up. So I’ve had a frizzy mess of hair. I can tell you that this hair is such poor quality — I’ve never seen anything this bad. I will continue to pursue a resolution. I will file a complaint with the attorney general and consumer protection agency and dispute it on my credit card if I can’t get satisfaction.
I suggest you stay away from this place.

I like Extensions Plus! They are pricey, but the hair is great and it last a long time. I’ve had hair that I’ve worn for 3 years and it still looked great! To me the service is fine. I think they pay more attention to licensed stylist — which I am not, but when they do wait on you, it’s 100% service.
They also have great sales if you’re on their mailing list.

This place i have been going to for years. After thousands of dollars spent. i can’t believe how they are showing so many signs of dishonesty. They up charge every client that walk in the door. I have been a 20 year loyal client. But recently they have changed. I was told its because there are so many suppliers. Blah Blah Blah. I like quality hair but I refuse to get ripped off. This hair has changed. Its no longer the best hair and they will not refund you. There are a lot of amazing hair vendors. Check around first. don’t get caught up. I am taking my business elsewhere. That’s right. I have given them more then enough chances to get it right. I really miss the old customer service ethics. I was a loyal customer and was told to take my business elsewhere by the staff. Licensed Educator and Stylist for 25 plus years. Weave specialist.

I’m really happy I didn’t let some of the reviews on here deter me from going to Extensions Plus. There’s very few complaints about the hair, and that’s probably because you can’t complain about it, it’s quite amazing. But there are mentions about customer service, so I want to share my experience.
Last week…
Before driving from LA to the valley, I called and asked questions about some of the hair that I saw on their website. I’m not sure who I spoke with, but she was gracious and answered all my questions. That same day I went to the store and Alex assisted me; she was absolutely great. I came into the store thinking I knew the hair I wanted (based on the website), but she was patient and showed me another type of hair based on me mentioning that I needed something a bit more textured. I bought two bundles of the hair she showed me, but…
I like to get my Diana Ross on, walk down the street thinking I’m Chaka Khan, channel my inner Beyoncé; so I wasn’t sure if two bundles would be enough. I like big hair! So two days later, I made a return visit to buy an additional bundle (I again called before going to make sure they still had the hair). On my return visit Nikki assisted me. And she too was great. She showed me the remaining three bundles of the hair so I could choose the one the pleased me. There were two other young ladies in the shop, and they were each very friendly.
I absolutely love the hair, and it may very well be the best hair I’ve ever had. And the customer service I received was very pleasant and professional.
Side note about the hair I bought: I bought the Custom ZZ Curly in natural brown. The two bundles would have been enough (we didn’t use all 3). I have a lot of hair installed, and it’s very light, which is great because… I’m not tryna break my neck trying to look cute. And it doesn’t tangle or shed. Yes yes yes‼!
