The Pupusas are really good, freshly maid when ordered. The only thing that bothers me is how cheap they are. I always order a cup of coffee when making my order. They never bring bring out the coffee until the food is ready. I always clarify to them that I want my coffee before the food, and they always seem to come up with excuses. Another thing that clarifies to me that this place is cheap like no other, is the fact that they only put one one little grain of chicken on the tamales.

NOSTARS!!! My Co-worker and I ate there on Friday during their tamale special. I ordered two of their tamales and a can of coca-cola. I did not eat anything for the rest of the day. While I was sleeping at approximately 4 in the morning I woke up with severe chills. It was 80+ degrees at night. I had to grab a comforter to keep me warm. I finally woke up at 730 to go to the gym and I immediately sat down on the toilet to a loose bowl movement. All day Saturday and Sunday(now 10pm Sunday) I haven’t been able to keep anything in and have been running to the bathroom every 30mins. I have been hit with food poisoning. Please be weary of this place, I have eaten here before, but never again.

I absolutely love this place, the environment is very much like being at home. They make food to order… the staff is very welcoming and friendly. The food is delicious. It is a small place but totally worth the wait for a table.

I ordered 6 bean and cheese pupusas and all I got was bean on all of them! I was very disappointed because I always come here for the regular cheese pupusas. I don’t think I’ll be a returning customer. I’m going to stick to my LA pupuseria, «La Flor Blanca.»

Want a taste of El Salvador-HERE ITIS. Love this place and have been going for years. Stumbled upon it while getting oil change for my car. Fresh made amazing authentic Salvadorian food. Lots of choices but I love the pasteles and papusas. Very friendly and clean. Little place but bright and colorful. Busy on the weekend. I usually would go when I got my car serviced and have an awesome meal as well. Daily specials including .99 $ papusas on Tues & Wed.

I don’t know where the best Salvadorian restaurant in LA is but this place cooks some really good food. The Bad Things — Parking Sucks. You have to find metered parking on the street and walk. Small things — Small place and no waiter service so order at the counter and they will bring the food to you. — It’s pretty popular for some reason.(I think its the food) so it can get kind of crowded. The Good — Their food is pretty good. I ordered the Chorizo Breakfast plate so i’ll recommend that for now. — I also recommend their special Tamales wrapped in banana leaves. Don’t order their fruit drinks, not worth it.

Food(pupusas) is ok, but I don’t like waiting 30 minutes for four pupusas. Or any order for that matter. No sense of urgency while people wait and no apologies are made for their delays either. I’ve been here a few times, but this last time may have been just that, The last time.

The food is good but my boyfriend and I waited for soooo long to get 5 papusas… After 25 minutes I got my food… Which is already a lengthy wait for 2 papusas. I don’t eat until my boyfriend gets his food and they forgot his order and still didn’t get his 3 papusas until 45 minutes later! I finally decided to end up eating mine before his so my food wouldn’t get cold, so we didn’t even end up eating together… Very disappointing. Over an hour is way too long to wait for what’s considered street food which you could get in like 15 minutes, if that… In the end the gentleman ended up not charging the 3 papusas which is much appreciated and the right thing to do. But still there’s no excuse for bad service…

Small hole in the wall salvadorian place but the food tastes really good is not a full service restaurant so you need to order at the front. Im giving it 4 stars because there is no parking and service is a bit slow, coming back for sure.

Food is authentic Salvadorian Food! Always taste good and consistent. I will give it a 5 start but in my opinion they need more waiters the only down fall.

This little spot near my house is great! The pupusas were delicious, and the staff was very friendly. Definitely coming back. Specially on a Tuesday or Wednesday when the pupusas are 99 cents.

The pupusas are great here, but nuegados con chilate not so great. They are not make with yuca instead they used a weird batter. And don’t go there for breakfast too, they don’t open until 9 am

I have been looking for a good Salvi place to eat at locally for quite awhile now. After reading reviews I decided to give this little place a try. I was so pleased!!! As an American I am not always greeted with the greatest welcome when it comes to specialty restaurants. This was not the case here. The staff were warm and friendly and my food was served fresh and hot. I tried the pupusas and platinos. Both were great! I definitely want to go back for the tamales and empanadas! The prices are very reasonable and I look forward to returning here.

This is the place to get pupusas in the valley. Order ahead and pick it up it will be quicker. Ample seating inside if you decide to eat inside. Careful with parking Meters since this restaurant is on a main street.

Warning: to place your order you must walk up to the counter and give them your order. They do not have waiters that come to you and take orders. We came on a Sunday morning and it was a busy morning. After reading the sign that stated no waiters, my boyfriend placed our order. It took about 20 minutes to get served but the best part was that everything was still very hot-! Made to order! So overall it wasn’t bad food, just the wait time and parking can be a hassle because you have to park on the street and pay for meter parking.

Been here twice now. Very friendly. Clean and yummy. A little small but it’s all about the food for me. I noticed a lot of people pick up their orders.
