Art is the man. Honest, and down to earth. I brought in some scrap silver that I took to my local jewelry stores in Thousand oaks and got LOW BALLED. I was visiting a friend out here in the valley, so I decided to check it out. And he offered double of what I got offered everywhere else and all he did was look at it. I have been there everything since and has never failed me. I usually only take the time to review places that are terrible, but I always have the best experience there so I had to let yall know.

This guy totally low balled me. He quoted me «way» less than another gold buyer in the area and then told me that there was no way we would get as much as they quoted us.
Not impressed.
He practically threw our jewelry back at us and told us that is was worthless.

I have come to Art several times since moving into this area and he is very polite and has given me the best price for my gold and silver. Before finding Art I would go to other places to sell gold and silver and I was either hurried or made to feel I was wasting their time because I didn’t bring in a large amount of items and they offered me way too little. Art has always taken the time to look at my items and talk to me and he has always given me more than a fair price.
Art also has a nice selection of unique vintage jewelry. I wear silver and he has some beautiful silver and turquoise pieces.

I have a very strong feeling that friends and family wrote these reviews! Save your time go elsewhere! I went to four different stores (to shop around) to sell my jewelry and this place offered 60% less than other stores! And the worst part is that is –the guy at the front said he forgot to weight ½ of my gold that’s why his price was so different when I told him I got offered very very different price!!!

My boyfriend had some collectible coins we thought might be worth selling, and after doing some research, we stopped by here and spoke with Art about our options. Art explained to us the details that went along with trying to sell the coins as collectibles, which we unfortunately found out were not worth as much as we’d originally thought, however, he told us about melting the coins down which would be worth significantly more than what the coins were worth as is, even showing us the current rate for gold as of that day. After his explanation, we decided to look around before deciding to go this route. He was very helpful and didn’t try to hassle us about staying with him. He assured us this was the best way and if we changed our minds, he would still honor the quoted price for the gold. After looking around a bit more, we went back a couple of days later and he honored the price for us, even though the price for gold had gone down about $ 200 from when we last came. We left feeling great about the transaction. Art was fantastic and if ever the need arises, we will definitely sell our gold/​silver here again.

Brought a few pieces of gold here to trade in for cash. One of the pieces I brought in simply out of curiousity to see what cash value would be offered (I did not want to sell it). Art is super friendly and appeared very straight forward and honest. He gave me what I felt was a very fair deal on my Gold pieces that I DID sell to him (I had not actually gone anywhere else at that point).
However, after my transaction with Art, I went to grab a bite to eat down the road. Their was a «We buy gold» sign in the shopping center where I was eating. The one piece of gold I decided not to sell, I brought inside this other store (out of curiousity to compare the difference in what Art offered versus this store).
Although I was not interested in selling this particular piece of gold, I found after comparing quotes that Art’s quote was significantly higher than this «other» store. It’s ALWAYS good to get comparisons (which I technically did not) but I highly recommend you give Art a chance. He seems to be very fairly priced on what he offers for gold and not pushy.
