really had a great experience here. Customer service and communication were excellent. I went on Unilocal to find someone to do my car’s AC and I was very pleased to have found them. I feel that they do a good, honest job, and I will take my future cars here and recommend my friends and family as well.

So glad I chose this place. Hector diagnosed my issues quickly and I just got the impression he’s utterly honest. He hooked my vehicle up to a machine and it told me I was low on Freon. Not only that, but he told me I might consider replacing the fan clutch. He showed my why I needed to replace it and that’s important because it not only cools my vehicle, but it also cools the engine coolant system. Something to consider since I’m about to do a road trip to Vegas soon. I highly recommend this shop without question. Thanks Hector, Marshall and crew! Stay cool.
UPDATE: I replaced the fan clutch and MAN does my vehicle get cold! Vegas here I come!

After a terrible experience at Leon’s Auto on Vanowen & Lindley (reviewed separately) I was so happy to find this place thanks to my fellow Unilocalers. They gave me a decent quote and had my car finished right away. But all was not well for very long. After a couple days the A/​C was blowing warm again. That weekend we took it back to the shop and they adjusted it right away with no questions asked. Now everything is hunky-​dory and comfortably coooooool…

Great prices fast and friendly service. I dealt with a gentleman named Hector he got my compressor replaced for the best price in town!

I brought in my 2006 Honda Civic for AC repair expecting the worst –the AC compressor was not working because it wouldn’t spin when I would turn on the AC. Before going to the shop, I messaged Hector, the person in charge, via Unilocal,asking him a few questions. Hector responded promptly answering all of my questions. I called him to make an appointment to drop off my car for a diagnosis of the car looking for leaks, faulty wiring, freon recharge, etc.
After dropping off the car at 8:00 am, Hector called me at around 9:15 with great news: not only did the compressor work, but there were no leaks. He filled the system with 100lbs f pressure and also filled it with an ultraviolet light that sniffs out leaks. No leaks were found. I was elated hearing this news.
He asked if I had recently purchased the car or if it had been in an accident? After answering yes to both, he said the person who repaired the car must have evacuated the freon from the AC system, but did not recharge it afterwards. Therefore, I was running with no freon in my system and only needed freon and AC oil to blow cold air.
Luckily, this was a minor expense and well worth it. Now I get to cruise the streets with my AC blowing as cold as the Arctic –or colder!
Last thing I want to add is that Hector is friendly, professional, and a huge sports fan (he has a Jordan and Kobe picture on the wall and many boxing posters/​pictures). A cool down to earth person.

I believe in keeping a good truck running until it’s time to send her off to the great heap in the sky. Often, the extras on my truck don’t get repaired, like the AC.
My AC only works when moving. Not when stopped. I called them on the phone after getting a rave review from a friend.
Not only did he immediately know what the problem probably was, he fit me into his tight schedule. If you need reliable service on your AC, go no further!
P. S. — they do a lot more than radiators and AC. They have ASE certified mechanics, a couple have been here for decades. This is my mechanic now!

After several years of having my mechanic Mike at White Oak Mercedes in Woodland Hills; re-​charging my A/​C system about once a year for $ 25 a pop so i can have cold air when i ran the ac in the summer. (I was trying to save some $ and didn’t want to spend $ on a whole A/​C repair/​replacement if i could get away with it; which seems to be working so far.) Anyways, I made an appt with Hector the owner of Reseda Auto AC and Radiator on Mike’s recommendation to get the A/​C looked at to try and «sniff» out where the leak was coming from…(in case your wondering yes «Sniffing» that’s an actual term they use to see where Freone is leaking from in your AC system.) I called Hector on Wed to get his cost to do a diagnosis of my A/​C and he gave me a discount of $ 40 to run the test. I thought it was fair and made appt for that very next Sat. To add insult to injury the very next day i noticed a puddle on the cement when I pulled out of my carport that morning. So i took it to Mike the mechanic to look at it later that day. He noticed i had a leak from the radiator tank. So called Hector and told him i had this Radiator issue and since i was going to see him anyways on Sat i priced out labor with him to install the new radiator, which i would buy separately from Mercedes Encino for about $ 200. His cost for the OEM radiatore was $ 250 so he said go buy it cheaper at my source and he would install it. He was very fair, said labor would cost $ 200. He not only beat a couple of Mercedes independents by about $ 100, he said he’d also do the A/​C test for free.
Its been about 3 days so far so good. i’m in good shape; i’d highly recommend Hector and his Radiator Specialist William.

The AC went out on my 2009 Nissan Murano and with all the driving I do, fixing it was mandatory. The AC was not blowing any cold air. I was drawn to this shop based on the good Unilocal reviews. I called and spoke to Hector and made an appointment for the following business day. Hector was very personable and was able to get my AC working without gauging me. He explained what the problem was and what my options were. Luckily the cheaper option solved the problem. I would definitely recommend giving Hector a call, you will not be disappointed.

My A/​C unit went out on my vehicle to where it left the heater on at all times. Based on the previous reviews I gave Hector at Reseda Auto AC and Radiator a call. I am glad I did, Hector was professional, honest and had great communication. I have a very tough business travel schedule and Hector was willing to work with me in which I was very grateful for. I am very pleased with the service and would highly recommend.

I contacted Hector on a Friday. He got me in on Saturday morning. He found the leak in my condenser, ordered a new one and fixed the problem before noon. Victor was very professional and courteous. He showed me the failed part and explained exactly what was done. I will recommend this business and Hector to anyone who asks.

Last summer the A/​C in my car broke. I found Reseda Auto Air here on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. Hector does great work and is very fair. They fixed it and it worked for almost a year until this summer it went out on me again. I brought it back and he looked at it and filled it up with freon free of charge. It’s possible that the problem is something that I have to take to the dealer to fix but Hector was very honest about it, told me to come back any time to check if it does out again and guarantees his work. I highly recommend this shop for A/​C repair!

I came to Reseda Radiator and Air Conditioning with a eléctrical issue on my Z4. Hector diagnosed it quickly and had me back on the road with freezing again. Highly recommend.

Well, his $ 100 «repair» failed and I lost ½ my transmission fluid on the freeway. I’m having the whole line replaced for the same price I paid him to fix what was damaged during his service. Everyone shakes their heads when they see his shoddy work and are amazed he’d charge so much. When he filled my ac, his guy screwed up and lost all the refrigerant which he had to refill again. Pretty sure this was his way of making me pay for his employees mistake. Only now, I’m paying for two mistakes. It’s guys like this that make me scared to have my cars worked on.

My girlfriend bought what she calls her midlife crisis car a 1990 IROC Camaro and it of course needed some work. As summer was approaching driving a black car in California heat with no air conditioning is really a form of self abuse. So being the car’s A/​C didn’t work we dropped by Reseda Auto Air on a Saturday on a whim and they were able to look at it right away. We waited with great fear as anyone with any knowledge of older cars knows A/​C problems can be pricey. Turns out there were a couple of bad valves. He quoted the inspection fee right up front and took care of fixing within an hour.

So the AC goes out on the right side of my car. As always, I take my car to Just Jaguar in Sherman Oaks. I was told by JJ, with no uncertainty, that in order to find out where the AC issue was, they would have to remove my entire dashboard witch alone, would take three days. And, as we all know… «Labor ain’t cheap»! They were also sooooo busy that they couldn’t even look at the car that day, this is after I called them to tell them I would be bringing in my car.
Thinking I might fair better with a company that specializes in Auto ACs, I looked up on Unilocal and found Reseda Auto Air Conditioning and Radiator on Hart St. in Reseda. I took the car and met with Hector. I could tell from the very beginning that this was an honest, sincere and upright businessman who greatly cared about his customers. At no charge, Hector tested the Freon in the car and found that not to be the problem. Without getting into unnecessary detail, one day and $ 365 later, I drove my car out of his lot with the AC working perfectly. Hector and his team could not have been anymore professional, kind, honest and dependable.
ANY problems you may have with your car AC or Radiator, in my opinion, there is only one place to take your car, and that’s Reseda Auto Air Conditioning! You are guaranteed (by me) to have nothing but a positive experience!

I came eye on a Saturday morning, because I was having issues with my ac blowing cold air. I got there at about 8am and they called me back at 12 saying it was done. Hector was very helpful and friendly. They told me what the issue was and fixed it for a more then reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend!

Hector was the only A/​C repair mechanic who actually took the time to quote me prices and try to diagnose my problem on the phone. He was so informative I decided to take my 2009 Buick Enclave to him with what my mechanic had already diagnosed as an evaporator core issue.
Every A/​C place I called only volunteered it would be a big job. The dealer denoted a $ 2400 repair. Hector said that if it turned out to be the evaporator core, it would run about $ 1200 including labor. It was a no brainier for me. It was already cheaper to go to him.
When he got the car, he realized he couldn’t positively determine if it was my front or rear evaporator core. As such, he recommended against any evaporator core replacement, and instead use Red Angel which he had significant success with on various Mercedes Benz that his shop had serviced. 1 week later, and the A/​C is still strong, where I had lost all freon within a day before.
I went in thinking it was going to be a $ 1200 repair. I had okay-​ed the work. Yet, he suggested against the repair, recommending a MUCH cheaper solution that he had very positive experience with. When I called my mechanic for advice, he said if it was his car, he would try the Red Angel first because it made the most fiscal sense given the apparent success ratio.
I thus highly recommend.

Had been having issues with my A/​C for a quite awhile on my VW TDi. I was lucky enough to find this place just a couple miles away from me.
The first thing I noticed right off the bat is how friendly Hector and all his guys were. They took the car right in and long story short, my A/​C was fixed at a more than fair price and is was on the road again that day!

Saw Hector today regarding my air conditioner and he saved the day.
It’s been a brutal 90 degree week here in the Valley, and my job requires me to drive from place to place all day long. Needless to say, with no cold air blowing in my car, I’ve been in hell. HELL. To top it off, I’ve got a cold, and feeling sick as shit on top of this heat. Someone save me!!!
I came in to have the problem assessed: $ 55 flat fee, applicable toward any repairs done. They figured out the problem in a matter of 15 minutes tops, explained to me I needed the O rings replaced and it would only take another 45 to complete the job. I hesitated… I’m sick and tired, can’t I just come back? Hector convinced me to stay and have it finished. He gave me a killer deal as a first time customer. No overcharging whatsoever. Usually, guys see a single female come into a car repair shop, and see an easy target, someone they can rip off. Not Hector!!! What a guy! $ 100 out the door in an hour flat and my A/​C is chilly as the Slurpee I just finished. :)
