I am so glad that I found Sitting Pretty on Unilocal.What a gem! A very large showroom with wonderful people to assist you. Stella was the best! She has a great eye and really understood our taste. We looked at several pieces in the showroom. She came to our home to see our exiting pieces and we loved her suggestions. The delivery people were wonderful.
We ended up reupholstering our couches and adding accent pillows and a rug. The turn around was 8 days and our «new» living room looks great! We will definitely be back. I highly recommend Sitting Pretty… ask for Stella!!!

My parents moved into a new house in Santa Clarita and I live in Canoga Park, I brought bar stools and my bedroom set (Peter was awesome helping me with my bedroom collection). I recommended my parents to visit Peter @ Sitting Pretty (Note my dad is Architect in LA) and after that everything was what my parents liking (per Peter suggestion). Peter was awesome @ suggestion with colors, pattern and the flow from living room to family room to kitchen. Which everything correlated everything. Thank you so much…

Sitting Pretty was recommend to me by a friend. I went to the show room and for some reason I was unable to find chairs that were suitable to fit in my house. I got lots of help from
the sales person who was knowledgeable about his products and, we decided to custom make the chairs to my specification. He promised me that he will have his best man do the
upholstering. I was very disappointed when the chairs were delivered! The chair dimensions and fabric choice were to my specification. The workmanship was in bad taste. Shabby I must say. They are not worth the money I paid for.

I can’t say enough about Susan and the folks at Sitting Pretty. The care that they took in helping us choose and design our furniture was unmatched. No joke… they literally held our hand through the process. Prices were reasonable and ultimately the furniture we purchased transformed our dining room. I should also add the showroom is huge! Super happy.

My girlfriend wanted some accent furniture pieces for her new place and we decided to go check it out. Huge location, variety to choose from, you can create custom orders and they offer huge sales on floor items certain parts of the year.
Peter is fantastic! His knowledge and professionalism, in this particular field, definitely impressed us. He provided us with some advice, tips and tricks, on how to properly measure frames, tables and sofas. Gave us his full attention even though he knew we weren’t going to purchase anything right there and then. We needed to go measure things properly and take photos.
Definitely going back to put in our custom orders and have him furnish what we need! I would recommend this place to everyone! Place knows how to properly run their business, that’s why they’ve been around all these years!

Outstanding experience from the moment I walked in the store throughtout the buying experience with Susan. The delivery was equally delightful! Usually, the delivery is just that… a delivery. In this case Enrique taught me how to care for my furniture! Not often you experince a driver that cares about the customer! Refreshing!

We recently purchased a sofa from them and, I have to say… I love it!!! It took longer than we thought to manufacture but Shannon made available a loaner sofa so we didn’t have to go without while we waited for our own to arrive. Great job and great service!!!

Great service. Peter is extremely helpful, knowledgable, and friendly. He really knows how to treat clients, is patient and never forceful to make a sale. We felt comfortable making the purchase with his guidance. He even called a day or two after our delivery to see how everything went!
The delivery was on time and the guys were very kind and careful with the merchandise.
The location is off beaten path, which makes it a hidden gem in Reseda; I wouldn’t have known about it without Unilocal. The showroom is HUGE, boasting A LOT of dinettes and barstools, but the second room is also full of living room furniture which was all modern and high quality.
We LOVE our couch and will definitely return for new pieces in the future.

I went to Sitting Pretty looking for bar chairs for my kitchen. I wasn’t sure what I wanted. Then I met Peter. I was impressed with his knowledge of interior design and incredible sense of style. He came to my house and totally transformed it. His ideas have been remarkable. With his guidance, I remodeded my living room, dining room, kitchen and patio.
He worked within my budget and came up with great suggestions that would have never crossed my mind. He is very patient, has a great eye for detail and doesn’t pressure you. If you don’t know what you want, he can help you figure out what’s best for you. He allows you to stay within your price range and, if you’re up for it, to stretch your boundaries of style and taste.
Friends and family have checked out my remodeled home and have been totally dazzled by the new furniture and the high quality of the design and style, I owe it all to Peter. With his guidance, I’m continuing to make changes.

I stumbled across this place via Craigslist and am so glad I did! It is unusual to find a Los Angeles area store that has quality furniture for a good price. I was surprised at the size of the store (huge!) and the selection. We went in for stools, but also found patio sets, couches, great art pieces and some home accessories.
The staff (Susan in particular) was very helpful and were able to find several options that fit what we were looking for. So nice to see such a huge variety of options displayed in the store (instead of the 5 – 10 in other stores). Would definitely recommend.

I walked in looking for bedroom set and while they didn’t have something on the floor that suited my tastes, Peter spent a great deal of time with me. His knowledge was extensive and he was both enthusiastic and open in sharing it. He never once lied or exaggerated, nor did he try to up or down sell me on something that I didn’t want.
He was, however, brutally honest about how furniture is constructed and the disadvantages of buying cheap furniture.

I recently remodeled my kitchen /​family room with granite countertops and needed barstools to finish the room off. I recently went into sitting pretty and found a large selection of high quality barstools (and all types of furniture) to choose from along with highly knowledgeable and professional staff. My shopping experience at sitting pretty was low pressure and completely comfortable. I would highly recommend sitting pretty to anyone in the market for high quality furniture.

Looking for a stool for my wife who is a teacher. Something that’s comfortable and let’s her sit up hight now and again while she teachers. They were very helpful and knew just what’s wife was looking for. Great place. Good prices

Yesterday I showed up to this place excited about looking at furniture for PURCHASE… Peter helped me. Right away he had a huge ego. He made me feel like what I liked which was on his floor for purchase was not good quality and therefore I had cheap taste. Everything I looked at he said was the «Honda» of furniture. He showed me what he called the «Bentley» of furniture which is great for Kim Kardashian but don’t make me feel bad if I can’t afford it. He was insulting and offensive. I will NEVER refer anyone there. Peter you should brush up on your customer service. If you are too good for it then hire someone who isn’t.

Great selection of furniture in all price ranges but more of the high end type. I only go here because of Peter. He knows his furniture and will also come out to your house and help you decide on what will look good in your home. His interior design knowledge is super and i trust him with his recommendations.
I also got 4 high chairs from Peter and they gave me a great deal on them. Been using them for 7 years now.
