I had my engagement here, after shopping around for a venue forever someone recommended the Venetian palace to me and as soon as I went to see it and met Ray I knew I found my venue.
Not only was Ray the kindest and friendliest
But he was also super professional.
He helped us with everything and gave us a reasonable and affordable price.
It really is the jewel of the valley
Highly recommended

To the short few that have left miserable comments regarding the Venetian Palace you should be shame of yourselves for doing so.
Ray and the staff are more then qualified in the industry and very professional.
Just because you are cheap and get the cheapest menu and then realize you screwed up does not allow you to Criticize the venue and the staff.
Chin up and taken the blows from your guests.
Don’t take it out on the business!

My husband and I got married at The Venetian Palace Banquet-​Hall 5 months ago. The whole event was totally amazing from concept to execution. Ray was amazing and very easy to work with (even when I do not always follow the schedule). I told Ray that I will have to mention the fact that their attention to the little details is what set them apart from other venues. The food, the food what can I say about the food. I received nothing but compliments on the food. I extend my thanks and compliment to the Chef. The cocktail hour was a smash. The staff was very professional and courteous through the entire event. At the end of the evening they made sure that they packed food for my husband and I to eat when we returned to our Hotel, since we were so busy celebrating with our guest to truly savor the main meal. Every vendor that we dealt with that were a part of the Venetian Palace Package (the Florist, the Bakery) were very good and we would not hesitate to recommend them to friends, family and strangers alike. I spent months researching sites to have my wedding reception at. The Venetian palace was #1 by far… there were so many things included in the price, from the centerpieces, to the cake, even the DJ! Ray went above and beyond to work with us. They let me have complete control of my vision yet provided helpful advice and guidance. During my reception and after, I had numerous guests complimenting EVERTHING. The hall was gorgeous, the food was amazing, the DJ was super fun… I didn’t hear one negative thing. I can’t thank The Venetian palace and their staff enough for making my day more than I could have dreamed of!

In any reviews I like start with a positive side first. The banquet setting is ok, not bad but if you want it to be lavishing like my wedding you have to do a little more on your own. I just had my wedding there on November 21^st 2015. My guests love the decorative setting which I put the effort to do it on my own also. It average out to about $ 50 per person including tip. I had 220 guests there that night.
Don’t expect full service at this place, because you will be disappointed. I had 220 guests total of 18 tables and had only 2 peoples tending to my guests need. They have a total of 6 people that night and that include the chef, 2 buffet servers, 1 bar tender, and 2 guests service. I also brought food of my own and later that night found out the kitchen staffs had skimp 6 trays of my own foods for themselves (no wonder my guests complaint that my food was long gone before the rest of my guests could have it). Some of my guests had to go and buy iced because it took too long for them to bring it out. There were times food were brought out to the buffet table and no staffs were there to instruct the guests or to hold off the guests from taking the food themselves. It was a chaotic scence.
If you expecting services then this is not the place for you. There were too many guests and lack of staffs. A minimum of 150 guests if you want to book this place, and I don’t think they have the staffs for it. So much I wanted to tell Ray (the owner) about my experiences and wanting to give him the feed back so he can do better, after all I knew this place from my friend party and I had good experience from the last time, but he had about 80 people or so. I thought when I have 220 guests there would be more staffs to take care of my guests. I didn’t wanted to write a bad review but after the party Ray is no where to be found and won’t take my calls or answer my messages.
I felt disappointed and cheated for the money I put out on this place. There are so many banquet hall around so do your research. If you are going to do have a party at this type of banquet hall then I suggest you should bring in your own catering service. It cost way cheaper and you get a choice of what kind of foods you wanted to serve your guests and you can CONTROL the portion of foods, but here you are force to go with their catering.
Food is somewhat a joke. One meatball for a dish of spaghetti. I wish had had taken some picture to prove to you, but being a groom I can’t really do everything. I just heard and got feedback from my guests.
One last note, Ray is very hard to reach once you had paid in full. The full payment is usually paid in full 2 weeks in advance of your party. Let me know if anyone had similar experience like I do. Hope this help.

Ray has sent us his congratulations every year on our anniversary. He really goes the extra mile.

We got married here about 2 months ago. We were very happy with the service. The food was amazing people are still asking me about the food. The place was very neat and clean. The setting of the lights was romantic and the guests were comfortable. A great place to have an event. No regrets.. Ray kept asking us if we needed anything through out the reception. Also, leading to the weeding he spent time with us to make sure everything was they way we wanted it.

Ray is a liar. Plain and simple. In searching for a venue to have my father’s 70^th birthday party, I called the Venetian and spoke to Ray. I told him our guest list would be around 50 – 60 people. He said they typically only do events for 100 or more, but he would work with me. Ray indicated we would need at least 80 people to make it happen. I told him no problem, we’d expand our guest list. He quoted me $ 3200 over the phone and I made an appointment for my mother and I to visit the venue and finalize details. Upon getting there, Ray paid no attention to us as he put tablecloths on the tables.
Here’s how it went:
Me: «Hi, I’m Tania, and this is my mom. We have an appointment to see you and book the venue.»
Ray: «Hi, how’s it goin?»
At this point, I’m confused because he is acting as if he never spoke to me and I’m a random person entering his establishment.
Me: «So, as you and I discussed earlier this week, we would like to book for April 18^th. Our guest list is now at the previously agreed upon number of 80.»
Ray: «Uhhhh, Ummmm, I have two other offers for that day and they both have over 100 guests. Since you and I had an appointment, I’ll give you priority, but your rate will increase to $ 4000-​$ 6000.»
Me: «So you lied to me over the phone?»
Ray: «Uhhhh, ummmm, uhhhh I’m sorry, but if you change the date I’ll work with you.»
My mother and I proceeded to turn around and walk out. Ray chased us out and continued to plead with us to change the date — TWO WEEKS before our preferred date.
Ray is unprofessional and lies to customers over the phone in order to get them into his place of business. I consider his practices to be slimy and shady. Stay far away from this place. Ray, if you’re reading this, thanks for wasting our time.

I organized my grandson’s Brit Milah at this great venue in just five days with the help of Ray (the owner) and my Kosher caterer, Belabusta. We had 250 guests DJ, singers and plenty of room to dance. Ray is very friendly and accommodating. Everyone enjoyed the elegant décor, cool lighting and sound. It was an excellent party!

One of the top venues I have attended. A true gem here in the San Fernando Valley. I recently attended a quinceañera at the Venetian. The inside of this venue is absolutely gorgeous. The staff and the owner Ray where on top of everything making the day extremely magical. I spoke to the owner and will definitely give him referrals. Food is delicious, great gorgeous venue, and awesome staff, you can’t ask for a better place here in the valley. I would give 10 stars if I could!

Ray is AMAZING! He’s always there for you when you have questions and planning events is so much easier when Ray is by your side! Just celebrated a Quinceñera at the Venetian last Saturday and it was beautiful. Thanks Ray!!!

Food was ok, staff was great but before the ceremony, Manager told us it was ok to show up at 12 to set up the centerpieces. Show up at 12 tables do not have tablecloths on and there is no staff there until 1pm to set up the tables. Manager also informed us that he moved the dinner from 6 to 7pm because he has never started a dinner that early (just an hour difference). It was really hard to get a hold of the manager and if he tells you he will call back he doesnt. During the ceremony you can hear the cook in the kitchen calling one of the staff members to help in the kitchen it was a little distracting. The place overall was beautiful and would recommended it but just be warned you have to be firm with the manager on how you want things done because communication was lacking on their end.

I had my sons Bris at the VP and it was wonderful! I researched all of the local options and nothing compared — VP had the space I needed and worked perfectly with my budget. Ray was great to work with and really went out of his way to make sure my event was special. The food and service were wonderful and the way the room was decorated made the party feel elegant and inviting.

I’ve held 2 events at The Venetian Palace and both were great! Ray is very easy to work with and does a great job coordinating the events. We had about 120 people at my last event and it was very successful. All the guests really enjoyed the venue and the food. The room was set up nicely and the food was delicious. I highly recommend hosting your next event there!

Classy, elegant, delicious food, great packages, beautiful scenery, and most of all awesome service! The manager Ray really took his time to sit with us for hours, went thoroughly with different packages and pricing, we were so happy with everything that we immediately booked Venetian Palace for our kids baptisms. If your looking to book a wedding, baptism, party, or any of other venue for an affordable, classy, and great service, this is the place to come, thank you Ray for everything!

Had my Daughter’s 15 birthday party. Everything went great. The service was amazing and the staff worked efficiently. Being our first time organizing such a big event, Ray was a great help. Everything needed from Food, Cake and Drinks was available without us moving a finger. Gave us time to enjoy time with family and friends. If i organize another event, i will definitely consider Using the Venetian Palace Banquet Hall.

Very pretty place, super clean, organized and managed by some classy people. Large dance floor with neat columns for décor. They have a stage, food and excellent service. Ray the manager will bend over backwards to make your event special, fun, stress free and memorable. On a sidenote the furniture, art, and bathrooms are all very well done. Kudos to the Venetian Palace!

It’s 5:45 pm, our reception is supposed to start at 6:00, it’s the hottest day of the year (112 degrees), and there’s no water on the table.
I (mother of the bride) walk into the kitchen and request pitchers of water for our early guests, and that the staff get water on the table ASAP…
15 minutes go by…
I go back and offer to help get the water on the table and it’s still 15 minutes before there’s any movement.
Clearing plates after dinner?
wow!
Not in the thought process… or it seemed so… to have the mother of the bride need to track down the staff to request they clear plates?
And THAT’S how the night went.
Had a great time IN SPITE of the help…
the things that went wrong too numerous to list… very much like they’d never done a wedding before. The bar vanished before the contracted time, and then we needed to have the «staff» version told to the coordinator…
Bride and Groom never got drinks, top layer of cake was cut and served, cake didn’t come out until and hour after cutting… honestly felt like they’d never had a wedding there before.
We had the GREATEST time, In SPITE of this place. I wouldn’t recommend it– the «event planner» did NOTHING all night.

We did my daughters bat Mitzvah there in March, and everything was just perfect! The hall is beautiful, plenty of space for our guests, the service that Ray gave us along with the package deal was exactly what we needed, and within budget. Service was second to none! My dughater loved her party! Thank you Ray!
