We create & develop collections of animation & film art from Disney, Warner Brothers, and all the Hollywood studios-It’s the perfect gift for that hard-​to-​buy-​for husband, wife, teen, or movie-​loving pal. Owners Michael Barry and Leslie Combemale have over 35 combined years of experience in the animation & film art fields. ArtInsights is the only animation and film art gallery in the Washington area, exclusively authorized to represent The art of Star Wars, Harry Potter, DC and Marvel, & many others.

We have originals and exclusive images from a diverse collection of artists: John Alvin, Jim Salvati, William Silvers, Tim Rogerson-​lots of great official Disney artists. If Walt Disney World has the limited edition, we probably sold or have the original!

We also excel at custom framing: Barry has framed for The White House, The Corcoran Gallery, The Smithsonian, and builds & implements framing designs for entire collections of fine art, pop art, animation & film art for our clients, who often drive from far & wide for his master framing. History

Established in 1994.

We have been in Reston Town Center since we opened in 1994, and often go to conventions and art buying trips to get the best and most exciting art. We create panels conventions around the world, including Walt Disney Art History and The Art of the Hollywood Movie Poster at San Diego Comic Convention. We also present at the official Harry Potter conventions, and moderate at AwesomeCon DC. Leslie writes movie reviews and is an interviewer of directors, actors, and artists as Cinema Siren on their film and animation art web magazine, www​.cin​e​masiren​.com, and for sites around the country, as well as their two YouTube channels. She is also increasingly hired as an international film art consultant to build film art collections around the world.
