We offer Private & Personalized Dog Obedience Training & Dog Behavior Modification. We also offer In-​home Dog Boarding, Intensive Training with boarding at Trainer’s home. Positive Reinforcement Philosophy. No Prong Collar, No E-​Collar, No Choke Collar. No Gentle Leader. No Harness. You & your canine will learn a proven technique that only rewards for walking on a loose collar!

dOgBEDIENCE will ensure that you learn to reinforce behavior in a positive manner. You will learn hand signals that open up new horizons in dog training; as well as, off-​lead obedience and distance control by voice and hand. Posture, positioning, voice inflection, praise and reward– all and more-​will be taught at dOgBEDIENCE. You will learn to implement professional K9 techniques that will greatly improve your dog’s obedience skills.

We specialize in working out serious behavior problems. Aggression, anxiety, reactivity can be changed through learning behavior modification techniques based on Positive Reinforcement.

History

Established in 2011.

As a prior Police K-​9 Handler, owner-​trainer created a business in which he could share his passion with dogs and put his vast professional experience into assisting dog owners, by providing dog behavior solutions & K-​9 training services to the community.

Meet the Business Owner

Michael P.

Business Owner

Owner-​Trainer has been on the police force for over 26 years and spent more than 8 years as a Police K-​9 Handler. Prior to establishing his dog training business, Ofc. Michael Peer is a graduate of Police K-​9 Dog Training School and Narcotics Detection-​Certified by the USPCA. Participated in K-​9 demonstration performances, & elementary-​high school obedience demonstrations; His K-​9 team received award citations and medals for their outstanding accomplishments. Dog experience spans 30 years. Graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the School of Social Work. Trainer’s passion in life is to serve his community and is an animal lover. Current owner of a rescued 5.5 yr old American Rottweiler, and had previously raised & trained German Shepherds. He attends webinars and events to further his knowledge in dog behavior/​dog psychology. Michael Peer is a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers.
