Eco Safe Automobile

I purchased a living social coupon. I contacted them via their website as instructed. Missed their call once… Called back 3 times and left 3 detailed messages. Contacted them via their website again. Never heard from them at all. Very saddened as I was very excited about this purchase. I could have dealt with a we don’t service in your area or ANY reasonable explanation. I resorted to having my money refunded by living social but that was really not my preferred choice. Buyer beware… Lacking in professionalism and customer service imho.

The waterless wash is not effective in the least. With a dirty car as the basis they apply other products all over the car and seal in the grime and dirt. It was pitiful. I could go to a service station car wash and get the outside as clean — maybe cleaner. When I told them the job was poor they told me they were the pro’s and knew what they were doing.

Unfortunately, my review is inline with the other 1-​star reviews. Unfortunately, the «detail» that was delivered could have easily been performed by the average person just setting out to wash and protect their car.
Our family has been doing detailing for years, so we’re rather well versed in the processes as well as the products used. That said, we bought the LivingSocial deal to have a «Comprehensive» detail package performed on our car just to save us a bit of time. We know how this story goes with almost every «detailer» but we keep trying to see if we can find someone who performs above average service. After about 4 or more calls to try and schedule a time, they came out and performed the «detail».
To begin, they used a waterless wash, though we have a hose and we stated it was theirs to use for whatever was needed. We actually encouraged it as the car was very filthy from months of lack of attention. I am perfectly OK with a waterless wash as long as it actually cleans the vehicle; however, given that we paid for «cleaning the exterior of the car removing dirt and grime, bird droppings», that is what we expected. What we got was a waterless wash that left a lot of crap behind that could easily be removed by simply rubbing your finger over it (and easily/​safely done by additional wash and safe scrubbing). When we pointed this out, the response was that they don’t do that type of stuff as it could scratch the paint. Well, if you are a «detailer» that cannot remove contaminants from paint without scratching it, then you are in the wrong business.
On top of not removing the dirt and grime as promised, a carnauba wax was applied to the exterior sealing in the surface crap. We were told that the carnauba wax should last 6 months to a year, which is just unequivocally false. For those in the know, this is pretty laughable, particularly given the area and weather. Even the best wax, maintained with using wax-​safe washes regularly, will be lucky to last 3 – 4 months on a regularly-​driven car in the elements of the sun and rain. This is why you actually want a sealant and not a wax to protect your car (I highly encourage everyone to read up on those differences), or at least a wax that is specifically formulated to better hold up to the elements (say, something like Collinite).
Further in the vein of misinformation, we were told the waterless wash contains clay bar and wax elements that clean the paint kind of like a clay bar and also «open the pores» for it to help absorb the wax. What? Even if that did make sense, it would be physically impossible to both polish/​abrade (like a clay bar) and protect (with wax) in the same solution, not to mention paint doesn’t have pores that open and close. That aside, we can factually say it obviously does nothing remotely close to a clay bar as it obviously didn’t remove the basic dirt and grime from the car (see above).
The entire process was completed in 1 – 1.5 hours with two people (one talking on the phone for the first half hour while only using one hand to do what they could). For reference, on the most basic detail packages we perform that only offer a simple wash, clay bar, and protection (no interior cleaning or anything else — it’s painfully basic), we spend a minimum of 4 hours. So, that should give you an idea of how (un)intensive the process is.
For the interior, they broke one of the interior vents while cleaning. They also never put the floor mats back in the car. They simply left them on the ground outside when they left. Further, they just waxed indiscriminately over all the exterior emblems, leaving tons of residue that we had to later clean off ourselves.
Ultimately, we should have just saved our money and done it ourselves. Now we’re going to end up having to wash and protect the car ourselves again anyway to do it right. So, lesson learned (again).
I’d say to use this company if you’re simply looking to save yourself some time rather than looking for any sort of «comprehensive» detail. It’s essentially a wash and wax with interior, which there is nothing wrong with but is not what is advertised nor what we paid for or expected. What is advertised is an intensive, professional procedure which unfortunately is not what was/​is delivered.
In the future, I’d encourage them to better understand what their products do and don’t do, as well as be more accurate and factual in their website/​verbal descriptions of the services they offer so as not to mislead people who are expecting a «comprehensive» detail and receiving a basic wash, clean, and protect. Hopefully they can learn from these 1-​star reviews and update/​adjust/​improve their skills and procedures to deliver more comprehensive details to satisfied customers.

They are not professional and do not do a good job. They did not clean my car to a average standard, and want to get more money for whatever excuses they create. It is a scame. So please be careful and watch out these people. They are not honesty and very sneaky too.
I will never use Eco Safe Automobile anymore! They do not deserve good ratings nor business.

I totally agree Jonathan and Joce’s review and recommendation. Don’t use this Eco Safe Automobile. They are not professional at all and not detail at all. This mom and pop shop won’t last long.

I bought the ultimate package living social deal and I couldn’t be happier. Eric and Anna cleaned my car and they did a fantastic job! I am very thankful for their efficiency in cleaning all areas of my car and providing wax to its surface. This is a great company and I love the fact that they dont use water.

I bought a Livingsocial deal for the Platinum package and I couldn’t be happier. My car looks brand new. A two-​person team spent 2 hours going over every inch of my car, inside and out. They took the time to explain everything to me as well and I love the little details I wouldn’t even have thought about — like cleaning out the AC vents. It’s also nice knowing that their products are eco safe so I don’t have to worry about touching or breathing in any dangerous fumes/​chemicals. The only thing I would say is I had a little trouble getting in touch with them over the phone but they were much more responsive via email.

I bought the ultimate package that was said to (and I quote), «clean every corner of your car… PLATINUM auto care + Complete carpet spot treatments + Full detailing… Full Platinum Auto Care plus… Fully restore your car to showroom ready… A great package for someone getting ready to sell your car… take pictures with pride!»
First, you do NOT get a full detailing because they do not clean your ceiling! I’ve gotten my car «fully detailed» numerous times (specifically to get the fingerprints off the ceiling/​visor) and Eco safe automobile does NOT execute on their package promise of providing a full detailing of your car.
Eco safe automobile — you can’t claim to «fully detail» a car when you don’t FULLY detail it!
Fully detail = 100%
Furthermore, they don’t even wash the rubber part of your mats! (the dirtiest part of the car after winter/​rainy days) They do spot clean the carpet side, but that’s classified as ‘partial cleaning’ and not «fully detailed».
I bought TWO packages, for my car and my husbands car, and we were BOTH left super dissatisfied.
I won’t recommend them, in fact due to their shady, misleading description I am warning everyone, so YOU won’t get mislead by their «full detailing» promises!
They claim to clean it all, then they take your money and say «oh sorry, we don’t actually do a full detailing».
Don’t waste your time or your money.
Go someplace where integrity, honesty, quality and value are taken seriously!
