History

Established in 2011.

Brain training is a system of highly targeted exercises used to change your brain’s capacity to think and learn. Science has proven that brain training can strengthen learning and reading skills and increase IQ.

Research has identified cognitive skills as the root source of learning. Brain training describes a set of revolutionary new techniques developed by brain researchers and professionals that test, target and strengthen specific mental skills. If mental skills– such as auditory processing and memory– are strong, learning comes easily and naturally. If skill weaknesses remain hidden, a student will often face chronic learning, reading, and performance struggles. Strengthening weak brain skills is the key to permanently overcoming those struggles. Brain training succeeds where tutoring and other programs have failed.

Unlike school and tutoring, our programs are intense but also very fun. We use exciting procedures that are proven to work and keep the mind busy!

Maureen L.

Business Owner

Maureen has over 25 years leadership experience. In the most recent 15 years, she has been leading successful start-​up, high-​growth and turnaround companies in the life sciences, high-​tech and financial services industries. Currently, Maureen owns and leads LearningRx, a leading provider of one-​on-​one cognitive skills training. She is on the Board of the Tysons Regional Chamber of Commerce and also a member of the Vienna Business Association and the Reston Chamber of Commerce. As a member, Maureen has participated in several community events, including the annual Oktoberfest and Viva Vienna events.
