Best dentist office ever! My husband and I have been going there for around 8 years now. I was wowed at the first visit — massaging chairs, bright, airy office, happy staff, personal tvs, and I think they were playing some 80s music throughout the office. It was relaxing (for a dentist office!), and modern, and still is. I’ve seen both Dr Neshat and Dr Jang over the years. They’re both wonderful dentists that never push for unnecessary work, and are supported by a wonderful staff. The office offers a lot of services in house which we’ve taken advantage of too — whitening, night guard, etc.
Can’t say enough good things about this place. Favorite dentist office.

I was a patient of Dr. Neshat before moving South a few years ago, and I really struggled to find a dentist I liked even half as much as her. Her staff always made me feel welcome and comfortable. Her office is modern and updated with the latest technology. In addition to my regular cleanings, she did my Invisalign which was great. She always walked me through exactly what I could expect from any procedure, and she was always spot on. She never tried to sell me on something I didn’t want or need, which everyone can appreciate with the high cost of dental work. If you are looking for a great dentist with a wonderful personality who truly cares about her patients, look no further.

We moved into the area 2 years ago and found Dr. Neshat based on the wonderful Unilocal reviews. We have been seeing her and Dr. Jang since. We only trust this practice with our dental care. I have recommended my parents and friends. Not only is the dental experience great and professional but the front office is very welcoming and friendly. They never push any unnecessary procedures and will help you get on a better path for your dental care. Keep up the great job!

I was a patient of Dr Jang’s for many years and i really like her and thought she did an excellent job until Dr Neshat stopped in one day and said, and i quote, «Be prepared to spend lots of money on your mouth this year». this was the first time i ever met Dr Neshat. From that point forward Dr Jang seemed to find very expensive problems in my mouth. the last time she said that I had a cracked tooth and would need a cap. I went to another dentist, who did an exam of my mouth and found no problems. after she was done, i asked about the alleged broken tooth, pointed out which one i was concerned about. this dentist said there was nothing wrong with the tooth. I have stopped going to Dr Jang; Too bad Dr Neshat had to come in and push unnecessary (and expensive) procedures!

There is honestly not enough praise I can give that can give proper justice to how incredible of a dental practice Dr. Neshat and her staff provide for their patients. I started seeing Dr. Neshat about 2 years ago after some dental work I received from another dentist started to prematurely fail. Dr. Neshat took the time to research the reasons why the work I received at the other dentist was faulty to ensure she didn’t replicate any of the same mistakes. Because I was apprehensive about re-​paying for work I already had done, Dr. Neshat constantly made herself readily available to explain everything that needed to be done in detail that was easy to understand and helped put my mind at ease. Since then, I have had several procedures done primarily by Dr. Neshat (one by Dr. Jang) and have not had a single issue with any of the work. Dr. Neshat is a perfectionist and works to ensure her patients receive as close to perfect as possible. She even sent one of my crowns back to the lab 2 times because it was not an «perfect» fit. Each time she asked me if I was 100% ok with the fit and if I even hesitated for a second, it went back to the lab with no questions asked.
Dr. Neshat’s very real care and concern for her patients is reflected by every staff member at the practice from Dr. Jang (the other primary dentist), to all the dental hygienists, and the entire administrative staff. Every interaction I’ve had with any member of their team has been professional, friendly, and extremely trustworthy. When you leave Dr. Neshat’s office you leave with the confidence knowing that you received the best possible care.
In addition to the staff, the actual office is clean, modern, and welcoming. All of the dental stations have reclining chairs with built in massagers. Each station also has its own flat screen television that is hung on a mount that can be positioned directly over your head so you can watch TV while you’re getting your dental work done. Once your work is complete, you’re walked to the front desk by a hygienist and are explained any charges in great detail. And after all that, there is a small refrigerator by the front door full of free bottled water to take with you as you leave. If a dental experience could ever be deemed as «awesome,» it would be the experience you get at Reston Family & Cosmetic Dentistry.
Seriously, if you are in need of any dental work, go to this amazing practice. You will NOT be disappointed.

I’ve never been a fan of going to the dentist (probably due to genetically being highly cavity prone), but this office — and particularly Dr. Neshat — have made it much easier to go! Everyone there — front desk staff, hygienists, and the dentists — are friendly and professional but also completely down to earth. In fact, Dr. Neshat even recommended a doctor in another area for me and shared her personal experience freely! The massage chairs and TVs are wonderful treats for this new mom and once when I mentioned being chilly, they even brought me a blanket!!! All I can say is I’m hooked. :)

Found this place on Unilocal.First couple visits went well. Then I was suggested to put a crown on a tooth that never bothered me. I said fine. Right after crown was done this tooth started be sensitive to hot and cold. I couldn’t bite with it. I was told that it will go away in two weeks. It didn’t. When I came back to check what is going on I was told that I should do a root canal. They never took a responsibility. Be very careful with this practice, consider second opinion before you decide go further.

Since I moved, I was not successful in finding a good dentist in my area. I am going to revisit Dr. Jang soon. Her care is so gentle and she does not push for unnecessary and pricy dental works like some dentists have done to me. I came in for a second opinion, since then I was so glad that I found this office.
Staff is always so helpful and warm. Also, never had any issues with the billing or insurance.

Wonderful! Everyone in the office was extremely nice. I’m in the process of relocating and hadn’t proactively found a new dentist until I had a toothache that needed attention last week. They were kind enough to fit me in that same day even though I wasn’t already a client, and even performed an full cleaning. I really liked both Dr. Neshat, the dentist, and Molly, the hygienist. The exam rooms are spotlessly clean, and have massage chairs and TVs that swivel so you can watch while lying down. Great experience, look forward to continuing the relationship.

Almost wish I didn’t like her and the office so much that I can just find a new dentist in my new neighborhood. But, nope! No one matches the staff’s friendliness and competence as well as Dr Neshat’s quick and efficient hands.

I had a ‘not perfect’ experience during my first visit. I didn’t see Dr. Neshat — but another dentist in the practice. By the end of the day I received a call from Dr. Neshat to inquire about my experience. I was impressed that she took the time to call and really seemed to want to understand more about my experience. I’ll give them another shot!

I went to Dr Neshat for a second opinion after my old dentist told me I needed a crown but couldn’t really justify why. She was very thorough in examining the tooth in question and explaining to me her opinion. She is now my regular dentist and I will never trust anyone else with my teeth.
As a bonus, the offices are very nice and each chair has a massage function and a tv you can watch while they are working on your teeth!

I have been a happy and satisfied patient of Dr. Neshat since 2009! Not only is she my regular dental provider, but I also got my Invisalign through her as well.
Her entire office operates under the best attitude I’ve ever seen in any medical office. From the receptionist to the hygienist, every member of staff is friendly, helpful, and cheery.
I’ve not had extensive work done with Dr. Neshat, just my uneventful check-​ups and Invisalign. There was a minimal cavity «shaving» once which didn’t even require anesthesia, so I can’t speak to her dental prowess in complicated matters, but I imagine she’s top-​notch!
I have (and will continue to) recommend Dr. Neshat– she’s truly the best dentist I’ve ever had and certainly my favorite.

My crown (front tooth) came off when flossing Wednesday night. Being new to the area, I have not established a dental provider. I spent the following hours online researching area dentists that, a) Had a positive reputation in both general dentistry as well as cosmetic b) was in my insurance network and c) was in close proximity to either home or work
I phoned phoned multiple offices the following morning, but had trouble finding a place that met all of the above criteria. Finally, I called Reston Family & Cosmeitc Dentistry at 8am and, despite my not being an established patient and their obvious popularity, was worked into a slot for later that morning.
I was greeted by the same knowledgeable and pleasant staff that I had spoken with over the phone. Before I knew it, she had already pulled all of my historical treatment data and knew when I last had a cleaning and what my insurance would cover. I was blown away. Our insurance is known to be difficult (Tricare Dental Program/​Metlife).
The doctor and assistant who treated me were pleasant and efficient. They took all necessary precautions to try and pinpoint the source of my crown coming off and recommended future treatment to prevent further issues with this crown. Best of all, I left the office that morning able to smile again!
I was shocked to have had this positive outcome from what started as a nightmare. I have scheduled my cleaning for the next week!

I have been to a LOT of dentist over the years, for many different problems, and Dr. Neshat is absolutely the best dentist I have ever been to. I feel very fortunate to have found her. When I first saw all the rave reviews here I was skeptical, but they are all true.
The entire staff is very friendly but also very professional. The office looks brand new (it’s actually 6 years old) and is spotlessly clean and modern, it looks like it was designed by a decorator. Everything put together creates a subtly relaxed atmosphere that I’ve never seen at a dentist office.
When I arrived for my first visit, Dr. Neshat greeted me herself and took me to the hygienist (Stacy, who was great). Afterwards she met with me in a separate room and patiently went over my various options (I had a difficult situation thanks to my neglecting an uncompleted root canal for over a year plus many other issues). To my amazement she did not try to pressure me to choose the most expensive option (as most of my past dentists would have), instead she suggested a less expensive treatment that would at least buy me a few years.
At my next appointment to start the procedure, she went over in detail what she planned to do and what issues she may encounter (keep in mind I had an unusual situation). Throughout the procedure she explained what she was doing and how it was going. I could tell from her steady and confident hands that she has a lot of experience and totally knows what she’s doing. In the end, I’ve never felt so contented after spending 1.5 hours in a dentist chair! BTW, when I first saw the TV’s mounted on each chair I thought it was a bit much but it turned out to be a great feature, it really kept me occupied watching CNN rather than staring at the ceiling.
I haven’t gotten the new crown installed yet, but I’m posting this review now rather than waiting because it’s already obvious to me that Dr. Neshat is the best! The only catch is she’s very busy so it can be difficult to find an open time for appointments, but she is totally worth the wait.
I have always put off getting cleanings, but visiting Dr. Neshat’s office is such a pleasure I will do them regularly from now on, a nice bonus.

Most pleasurable dentist experience in my opinion! TVs and massage chairs… need I say more. The receptionist are beyond nice and helpful. The cleaning was gentle and my hygienist was super friendly and sweet. Clean and bright office with all modern equipment and furniture. This is not a stuffy dentist office from my childhood.

What! I thought this was a spa?! Best dentist visit ever!
Every time I sit in a dentist chair, the sadistic dentist song from Little Shop of Horrors plays in my head. I just can’t help it. Maybe it was the decade of US Army dentistry or having to get a filling in a third world country where the barber just tries to pull your tooth instead of fill it.
Regardless, my blood pressure rises, my pulse pounds, my muscles tense and the sadistic dentist song loops over in my head…
until I met Dr Monica Neshat and her kind and gentle staff. Now going to the dentist is not a painful, stressful experience, rather it is relaxing and painfree.
It’s hard to feel clinically restricted when you are in a comfy leather chair with massage and heat, inhaling relaxing lavender aromatherapy, hearing the dulcet, easy chatter of the gentle handed hygienists (all female), and catching the cooking show or history channel during cleanings and exams.
If you’re a bit reserved about making that cleaning appointment, wait no longer. For gentle touch dentistry in a relaxing and stress free environment, Dr Monica Neshat is head and shoulders above the rest!

Didn’t know what a 5-​star dentist office would be like until visiting Dr. Neshat.
Where to begin… before your appointment, they will call and email to confirm your time, which you can do online. The staff is all incredibly friendly, and the hygienists are wonderful.
The actual dentist’s chair has a movable TV, and built-​in massagers. All of their equipment is new and seems to be top of the line, and the office is pretty new and spotlessly clean
Dr. Neshat is an excellent dentist, and really cares. She takes the time to make careful observations and recommendations.
You will be very lucky becoming a regular customer here!

First, let me say… I hate dentists. I don’t hate many things in life… but dentists WERE the exception.
I have a deep seated hatred for dentists since my very bad childhood experiences with dentists.
Since then, I’ve had one good dentist in Fredericksburg that retired and gave his practice to someone I didnt know… and then I found Dr. Neshat nearly 4 years ago. Unfortunately this is after I had already wasted a ton of money and had a horrible experience with another dentist in Sterling, VA.
My favorite staff members are Sylvia and Cheryl.
