Four Points by Sheraton Boston Logan Airport

With an 8 hour layover and trying to find a hotel that offered after hours shuttle service (after 12 midnight) with decent nightly rates, I stumbled upon this hotel on google and gave them a call. Thomesa quoted me and assured I’d be picked up in about 15 mins. On time and courteous the driver was! In Fact, he arrived shortly after my initial call. When I arrived, Ms. Thomesa was very kind and helped me get settled for some much needed sleep. The professionalism this woman has is out of this world. As I was to check out I ended up coming down too late and missed the shuttle. (They come every 30 mins) She handled everything, contacted a taxi service and made sure I was on time for my flight. I am happy I chose this place.
Pricing…check, customer service… check, distance from airport… not sure about this. It was a little ways out but I made it back in 15 mins, comfortable rooms… absolutely for airport hotel quality… if I’m ever in Boston Logan again, I’ll definitely be booking here!

It’s a win!

WARNING: Do not be fooled by the name of this place like I was. It’s not next to the airport, not even near the airport. It’s six miles away, in the middle of nowhere. (Mapquest it, if you don’t believe me.) I also stayed at the W in downtown Boston during this trip, and the W is way closer to Logan than Four Points and in a great location in the middle of everything. I know, the W can be extremely pricey, but if you watch for deals, you can get a room at a reasonable price at times and that hotel is terrific. This one is very average, which does nothing to make up for the fact that it’s next to a lame strip center and an Uno that isn’t up to Chicago standards.

This hotel is NOT located at or near the airport. There are other hotels to choose from closer to Logan.
I had a 1 hour wait for the hotel shuttle at Logan. Shuttle van was a mess inside; brakes were shot (total safety hazard) and file this under «you can’t make this stuff up»…there is a auto repair shop NEXT DOOR to the hotel.
Terrible restaurant.
No morning coffee.
Just. Plain. Awful.

Hotel staff are always super friendly when checking in! I regularly stay here for work and generally check in late night and everyone is always smiling and in a great mood. Rooms are clean and beds are pretty comfy. Complimentary breakfast is very good and really like how on weekends it is available until 11am so I can sleep in. I also thought it was thoughtful that even before breakfast was open they had complimentary coffee with Togo muffins for their guest! Located next to a small strip mall in walking distance as well. Daily complimentary bottle of water. I would definitely recommend this hotel. However I will note it is not as close as some would like to the airport.

Pro’s:
*Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful
*shuttle and drivers are on point-​they will drop or pick you up from the airport or local T-​station
Con’s:
*Walls are very thin, adjoining door didn’t help-​see next bullet, suffice it to say we heard more than we preferred from our neighbors
*We got a room with an adjoining door, even though we’d requested NOT to have this «amenity» (I know
you make it very clear it’s based on availability at check-​in, but please don’t make it an option at all if the customer really doesn’t have any say!)
*The bathroom trash wasn’t emptied before our check in
*Booking site stated rooms had a blow dryer, but despite my best efforts, I could not find one in ours

clean and good service. very late arrival since plane was delayed and shuttle was able to pick us up after midnight arrival. only negative was it is probably 15 minutes away from airport. go thru some shady areas but hotel was safe, clean, and staff nice

Average hotel with a lot of quirks. Odd parking, interesting rear entrance with storage room of junk, strip mall views, and small bar area next to Japanese steakhouse themed eatery.
In all the rooms are fine, average if not slightly dated. Good service.
Canny complain.

Best hotel if you are flying in and out of Logan. The free shuttle is awesome and always on time, the food is excellent, the drinks are strong, and the rooms and bathrooms are super clean. The beds are better than Marriott — I generally stay at Marriott and the beds here are much better. I usually save $ 30.00 just because the shuttle is so reliable — others have them but I often wait.

PROS:
Location. If you need to stay at the airport, this is your only choice. Note however that you can walk only to terminals A and E. For other terminals, you have to get the hotel shuttle.
Rooms: the rooms are clean, attractive and reasonably well laid out.
Public spaces: attractive lobbies, architecture
CONS:
English is not the best language to communicate with front desk staff and waitrons.
Totally horrific restaurant. Ugly beyond words, dark and gloomy, uncomfortable chairs. I wanted light to read by! Why is the management so clueless? Are you more likely to get folks wanting to smooch in deep, dark corner, or are you more likely to be having guests who want to read briefs for tomorrow’s meeting?! Need I add food prices are really high.
On top of it all, there’s an espresso bar in the lobby, but it closes at noon. More cluelessness. Haven’t you considered that airport clients are likely to show up at all hours and that a coffee/​snack bar might be good to have for them?

A friend and I stayed here in early March when having a single day layover in Boston before leaving the country. The pick up service was easy to use, just call the hotel and they send someone, and the people on the phone were friendly. The driver, on the other hand, was listening to really loud rap music full of expletives… I don’t care about this, but it didn’t scream professional. Anyway, the shuttle service is convenient. The hotel location is not convenient… it’s in Revere, no easy access to downtown Boston or public transportation. Additionally, the sidewalks were completely piled with snow when we were there making it difficult to get anywhere (not the hotel’s fault at all). The point is, if you want to visit Boston, this is not the hotel for you; however, if you want a nice place to sleep with a free breakfast and free transportation to the airport, this place is great!

Clean. Staf was very polite a d helpful. Shuttle service to Loga is great. Hot water took a little long for showers.

An ok location although not much within walking distance – adequate but not much beyond – next door to a Burlington Coat Factory and a strip mall – Subway, Thai restaurant. They have a nice complimentary breakfast.

We stayed here one night before flying out early the next morning. The staff was so welcoming and friendly, the bed was comfortable and the shuttle was convenient to get us to the airport in plenty of time before our flight. I did find it strange that they bill this hotel as an airport hotel since it is quite a ways away from the airport itself. Nonetheless, it fit the bill for what we needed!

The big beef, as others have noted, is that despite the name it’s not actually that close to the airport. This place is further from Logan Airport than my home is from DCA. But you don’t hear me telling people that I live in the airport.
My room and bathroom was just ok. If the Sheraton and Westin in Boston are twice or triple as expensive and you need your Starwood stays, then this will do. But I’d really keep it as a third or fourth choice.

We made reservations using our Starwood hotel points. This was the best value in Boston, and gives us the 5^th night free. We had read the reviews online, and are delighted with the experience we are having.
We have spent 2 nights here, with another 3 nights to go. We stayed 3 nights at Sheraton, Boston North before coming here, the breakfast is much better than the Sheraton Boston North Club room, and is free. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, french toast, fruit, yogurt, toast, bagels, cereals, milk, juice. What more could we ask for, for FREE? It is also centrally located, and there are a lot of fun places nearby to check out.
The staff has been very nice. The room service people do a great job cleaning. Our room is very clean. We get waters daily, and have a microwave, and refrigerator in our room. We have not tried the Japanese steakhouse yet, but we like the restaurant Uno across the street. Internet is free. We will get a free shuttle to the airport. We may drop off the car early. Our expectations are greatly succeeded. This is where we want to stay anytime we come to Boston.

I’m in the bar now. Needed a place for the night. It’s not at the airport. It’s 15 miles away. Isn’t there some hotel governing consortium that restricts how close these things should be to the airport of their title says so?
Second, a can of Guinness is not $ 7
Also, online said $ 170 a night. I called and confirmed the price. Walked in and they tried to charge me $ 300. I have 5 internet connected devices in my bag. Why do hotels still do this?
The room smells terrible. Elevator and doors creak terribly. Musty, old and my room view is of the strip mall and a nice collection of rusted patio furniture behind a dumpster. Do not check in the dumpster. I repeat.
They have free breakfast but I’m not holding my breath.
Oh and the night security guard is really scary. He sneaks up on you and stuff.
The hilton at the airport (literally at Boston logan) is $ 199. Spend the extra $ 20. It’s worth it.

Overall, I had a pretty good experience at this Four Points by Sheraton location.
Pros: 1) Incredibly friendly and courteous staff! A+++! 2) Located within minutes from downtown Boston and Boston Logan Airport 3) Complimentary breakfast available 4) Free parking 5) Walking distance to a few restaurants and stores 6) Free Wi-​Fi 7) Reasonably priced
Cons: 1) Breakfast isn’t great 2) Beds could be more comfortable 3) Room cleaning gets a 6.5 out of 10 from me.

I wanted to give zero stars but I guess you can’t go below one.
Most dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I will never come back to this filthy place again.

I don’t ever want to stay here again. Like others have commented, this location is no where near the airport like the Embassy Suites airport hotel. The hotel is dirty, dingy, and the rooms are like an Extended Stay hotel. The staff are friendly, but that’s about it.
The only saving grace just might be the free breakfast. I don’t know if everyone gets breakfast, but it was decent. The service at breakfast was good. The room rate is less than $ 120, but I can see why. I am surprised to learn that a hotel of this low caliber is even part of the Starwood chain; the Four Points in Northeast Philly is so much better. Due to location, I won’t stay here again if I can help it!
