Stopped in after asking a friend about where to get scallops and fish. Got haddock and scallops and both were excellent. Will definitely be my source for seafood going forward.

When I was on vacation in Connecticut a few weeks ago, we drove past a small fish market every day. I made myself accustomed to eating oysters every day(not a cheap habbit). When I came back, I started searching for a similar fish market near my home. Low and behold, Pine River Fish Market exists and is right near my work! I stopped in on mid-afternoon on a Saturday to check out the good. They had some oysters left, but plenty of delicious looking fish. We grabbed a dozen oysters for $ 9 and a pound of tuna for $ 9 as well. The oysters were pretty good — some were a little small, but they were tasty and cheap. The tuna was also really good — it had a little bit of fat, but was still succulent after a quick seer. The employees were wicked nice and friendly. The biggest issue is parking — it’s not easy to grab a spot in the lot, but there are some side streets you can park on. This was definitely a positive experience and I can’t wait to go back.

The prices here are very reasonable. I got 3 chick lobsters(is that the right phrasing? haha), aka they were about 1 pound to 1.25 pounds. They were great steamed and I was really happy with them. They were $ 4.99 a pound which is quite a steal! Can’t wait to go back and try other things :)

Lobster meat was $ 35 a pound and live lobsters were $ 5 a pound. If I wasn’t lazy I could’ve saved some money. This place is an old school fish market, no frills and nothing fancy. Just good fish at a decent price.

The selection is really good, but sometimes the shells can be not really fresh. But overall this place is really good, but not perfect.

Went here for the first time today; the ladies behind the counter were SUPER helpful, and the prices were amazing. On top of that, now that I’m home eating the stuffed clams and oysters I bought, I can now say how DELICIOUS the food is! Wicked fresh and wicked tasty!

I so far have tried thier haddock, cherry stones, mussels little necks, love it so fresh, …yummy yum, I got 40 bucks worth yesterday and it made a ridiculous amount, prices are good, considering how fresh and yummy it is, its cheap… and considering what you pay for seafood if you eat out . last time i was there they had some shell there for sale to make your own stuffed clams, or bleach and use in your green thumb endeavors whihc is what I did with them, now yesterday i bought the mini forks and the special knife to open the clams, too… and the clam juice they sell there I bought too, I made this seafood diablo with three cut up baked sphaghetti squashes instead the pasta, …i am 110 and its not from eating whatever i want!!!

Have lived in the area all my life and never was a frequent shopper at Pine River, then one day my aunt mentioned how cheap they were & I should go, Now I always knew it was there but like other reviews the place is soo small you would pass it if you didnt know it was there… so I went to try it out & sure enough… BESTPLACEEVER… Always has the best Lobster & Steamers… Never have sand issues with steamers like other places… Lobster is always cheaper by $ 1or$ 2 then other stores or markets… The owners are always super nice, the smell of the place gets me soo into the mood for seafood… If you are pulling up to the place just pull right up on the sidewalk but be careful the cars flying by will hit you if you open your door too wide into AmLeg Hwy… A great try, you wont be sorry!

This fish market is so small you could easily drive right past it. There is just one refrigerated case and a few lobster tanks. The selection of fish is not as vast as at other places but the quality of what they have is top notch. My last visit I picked up two culls(lobsters with one claw) for just $ 3.99lb and ten crab claws at just 25 cents each. I was glad to see they take debit. My only issue was the fact the man working there paid more attention to his personal call than he did to me.

After reading the reviews on Unilocal the bf and I stopped here after landing at Logan en route to Vermont to introduce him to the family(yikes). We got stuck in totally annoying typical Boston clusterf*ck traffic trying to get out of town, and yet, I would do it all over again to have the seafood from Pine River. We got lost finding the place, and after a quick call the guy guided us in and was super friendly and helpful. They even gave us a Styrofoam box to put our goods in for the road, which was great due to above mentioned traffic from hell(and which I recycled to my sister). When we FINALLY got to my mom’s house I was totally fried, but we got it going, and OHMYGOD. It was the best seafood I have ever had, and I lived in Boston for 7 years. New England for 26. We had three 1.5 lb lobsters, 2 lbs steamers, a dozen oysters and 2 stuffed clams, oh and a chowder from the crock-pot for the road(yum) for around $ 60. Did I mention that it was the best seafood I’ve ever had? And we really didn’t do anything special to cook it. In the pot you go you succulent crustaceans. Well worth the side trip. I just now will never know if my mother really did actually like the bf or if she had her lobster goggles on.

Great deal on seafood. I always get my Cherrystones from them for my BBQs. The lobsters are pretty decently priced too. Family owned versus the big corporations. Overall a nice bunch of people running a straight and forward business. I will keep going to them as long as there is such thing as BBQs.

A wonderful, family owned fish market right here in our own little wonderul Revere! My girlfriend and I recently discovered this gem of an establishment and have kept going back for more! Pine River is a cute little store that is so charming by it’s quaint nature alone. The product is incredibly fresh, the prices are more than reasonable, the folks who work there are super friendly and helpful. Recommendations are the steamers(try making them into drunken steamers by adding Sam Adams!), lobster, and the cooked crabs… all delicious! What’s also cool about Pines River is that the folks who work there are very good at giving cooking dunces such as myself instructions about how to cook their product once you get ‘em home… check out Pines River Guys… I promise you won’t regret it!

Fresh seafood and good service. I got 21.5 pound lobsters, 1 pound of PEI muscles and 2 stuffed clams, about $ 34. Very reasonable priced. They take credit cards, master card and Visa. Their hours are 9 – 5 most days and i think till 6pm on Friday.

Its a little hard to get to/park, but once youre there you are golden. Its a small shack right on the road but the seafood is fresh and not super expensive. Not really sure where the parking is, but you can find a space. When I went in, there were 2 women working, both extremely friendly and helpful. I got a good size filet of pollock for $ 4.99/lb. Other fishes were haddock, scrod, tuna and salmon. They also have steamers, mussels snails, lobsters etc. I also got a stuffed clam which was really good, and im glad i got it for $ 1.39, wich was a good price for the size of it. Needless to say, I will be back. Oh and they accept credit cards, yay.
