Always a quick wait but the service is good and the food is great. The manager on shift always stops in to see how everything is going. I’ve never had anything here that I didn’t like and the bread is awesome and just keeps coming.

Had lunch this after and ordered the steak and salmon. The steak was order medium/well and it came out well done and I was told that medium well is well done at ocharleys by the waiter instead of him correcting the situation. The salmon however was cooked medium. Also the butter that was served with the rolls were bad. It tasted terrible and look as it was melted then cooled again. The waiter said that the way it is and wasnt concerned. Since the waiter wasn’t concern at all about our satisfaction I just wanted taken off the bill. My sister order the fried chicken salad and she was happy with her order for that we give 2 stars. The manager after dealing with the table behind us who were complaining about the soup they had, came to our table and tried to make it right by bringing me another well done steak. These issue may not have been as bad if there was better customer service. I eat lunch there often but won’t anymore.

Yikes @ the awful service tonight. Would give it a one star except I’ve had decent food and good service here before, under different management I presume. My medium rare steak was tough, hubby’s country fried steak was dry, hardly«smothered» in gravy. According to our server, they do not serve irish coffee here, not even the one that I posted a photo of on my prior visit. It’s not that they didn’t have coffee and a full liquor license, server just had never heard of a coffee drink and didn’t feel like bothering with it. Ordered water instead, figured that’d be simple enough. Manager came over, discussed the issue and was apologetic and nice unlike our server, but didn’t rectify. I usually tip very well, but leaving even a measly 10% tonight seemed like too much for the service we got. Didn’t even bother with the $ 5 off coupon from their email list, just wanted to leave & unsubscribed. Way to lose regular customers! Suggested improvements: sell the liquor license to an establishment that could use it to enhance profits as intended, maybe get a cheaper beer & wine only license, lose the bartender, put the savings towards customer service training.

I had never been to O’Charley’s before, until a recent visit to Columbus. We visited this location for Sunday brunch. We were seated immediately. The menu offers quite a few selections. I ordered the California omelet which was served with parmesan oven potatoes, fruit and toast, in addition to the fresh rolls and butter that are served prior to the meal. My brunch entrée arrived and the portion was HUGE. The omelet was a bit overcooked but was filled and topped with fresh ingredients including avocado, sour cream and fresh veggies. The potatoes were tasty an the fruit was sweet and delicious. All-in-all, my visit was good, and the value was great. I would return to try some other options, as well.

My mother, daughter, and myself went to this location Wednesday evening for dinner. There was a small wait, since it was free pie Wed. We were seated very quickly, the greeters are very friendly. Our waiter, Hunter, was excellent! He was very kind to my 4 year old daughter. She thought he was great! Food was excellent like always. The manager that stopped by our table was also very nice. It seemed like all of the employees truly enjoyed being there as well. Love ocharleys!!!

Went here on a Wednesday for dinner. Server was nice and took good care of us. I got the Cajun chicken pasta and it was absolutely disgusting. Chicken was pounded flat, way over cooked and like shoe leather. Sauce was terrible! But, pasta cooked ok. My girlfriend, who is absolutely gorgeous, got the bruschetta chicken. It was a chicken breasts with salsa. The salads weren’t even good! Stale croutons and just gross. Rolls were good, beer was cold, but food was absolutely terrible. Will never go back again.

Not a good place if you have any allergies. Just about everything, including a side of broccoli, is cooked in butter. Every salad contains meat and dairy. Even the French fries are cooked in something with fish, and you can taste it. If you follow the menu and ask for omissions, your meal may come out with surprises(I asked for no cheese on an item and it came out with a dairy-based sauce that wasn’t disclosed on the menu), so be sure to be specific about your needs. The only safe option for a vegetarian seems to be a plain baked potato, and even then I wouldn’t trust that it wasn’t prepared differently from the menu.

Always have great service when going here. Love the bartender Wes!!! He always makes us comfortable when there. I would have given it 5 stars but there is a certain manager there that believes he can do and treat anyone the way he wants.

April 16th, Wednesday 2:00 pm. SEVENWORDS: Comfortable /American /Traditional /Tasty /Clean /Quick /Ordinay Our usual Pick’town snack-lunch spots, like Chipotle, Bob Evans, or Panera, seemed overdone in recent weeks and we didn’t want steak or Italian, so we looked for something different. O’ Charleys, by most people’s definitions, is not something different. In fact, most would call it ordinary, and that’s a much more accurate description. The dining area itself is cookie-cutter American sit down — indistinguishable from TGI Fridays, Max & Ermas, Fuddruckers, Applebee’s, or Chili’s. Unlike those restaurants, each seems to have something they’re famous for, whether it’s a garbage burger, hamburger bar, week-long weekday happy hours, or baby back ribs. O’ Charleys, however, does not. The waitress arrived within two minutes and our drinks arrived in under 5. We ordered the Chicken Apple Spinach Salad and the Cedar-Planked Salmon. Our main course arrived in under 20 minutes and we were on our way. Don’t get me wrong, the food was both good and great. I thoroughly enjoyed the Salmon and my partner enjoyed her salad. However, her salad was middling at best. It was just what the order said: Chieken+Apple+Spinach+Salad. The spinach tasted earthy, which is what you’d fully expect from spinach, but the chicken was both bland and cold. Even if the chicken was supposed to arrived cold or chilled, there was no taste to it. Imagine a chicken breast cooked the previous day in a microwave and then chopped and stored overnight for the next day’s meals. Overall, I can’t really say anything good about the salad. Even with the Salmon being pretty good, it wasn’t a home run by a long shot. It was ordinary. The total bill came to 26 and we added about 18% for dip. The service was good and just what we’d expected. There was no over the top at any point in the meal, even something as small as offering a to-go cup or nailing down the refill times like a few places do. However, the GM came over and gave the generally managing question of «How was your meal?» It was good. Question asked, question answered. The improvement has to be made in the kitchen. Unfortunately, this is a chain-wide mistake, not a manager, waitstaff, or even kitchen issue. So, would I recommend it? No — not if you are in the mood for anything else. O’Charleys wasn’t even run-of-the-mill. I’ll give it a few months and return again just to see if the salad was a menu clunker we’d stumbled upon.

Not really memorable in a good of bad way. Think TGI Fridays. Ok, good you’re done. Good service. Tasty fried pickles. Steak was cooked to the temp I asked for… Run of the mill chain.

Stopped in here the other night to have dinner with a friend of mine. We were here for a couple of hours to catch up, exchange Christmas gifts and have some time out. The food was excellent — as always … the waiter was excellent as well.

Not that great. Service isn’t that great. Server may have been new, but Im not sure. Giving her the benefit of the doubt. The triple decker club was way to greasy and my wife’s food was to salty and she loves salt.

Ive been there a number of times now… always stacked… cars have to sometimes park on the curb outside the lot. There is also a wait at peak times, but its never longer than 10 minutes or so. Things are a little cramped inside… probably because the are so busy, so its not too private, and a little noisy, which is also why the service may be a little slow, but not slow enough to be inconvenienced. The food more than makes up for the above mentioned cons. There menu is more steak house driven, specializing in steaks and burgers, and all are very very good! My steak has ALWAYS been cooked(medium) perfectly! The burgers are top-notch, and their ribs are surprisingly good! Almost as good as some true BBQ pits like Smokey Bones. You cant go wrong with the food here, but if your looking for a quiet romantic dinner, you might want to consider another place, otherwise, its a must try. EDIT: Went back again last weekend and had their perfectly cooked prime rib with a baked potato and a salad… I was in heaven… one of the best meals Ive had in a long time, at a price that wont kill you. Kudos.

Service, food temp, bland meal. Allow me to elaborate. The waitress did not come around to take our order for almost 15 minutes — and the place was not crowded. When we complained to her about the cold, sparse, food, she repeatedly kept saying she was so sorry, and did nothing else. When I finally asked for a manager, boy was I glad to see the manager come. Our food took longer than expected to come out. It was not a pretty sight, when it was delivered! My salad(I ordered it with light cheese) looked so incredibly plain — a tiny glob of cheese, tomatoes, a few slivers of egg, and a sliced chicken breast on top. The other two dishes? The food was cooled off. Clumped broccoli, cold, soggy fish, and baked potatoes cooled enough to not even melt the butter. They took the two dishes off the bill, but too late. Never again.

It’s another value-priced family bar & grill chain. Some highlights… the fresh fried potato chips and cheese… mmmm! Nice selection of salads and sandwiches. The minus: Everything has way too much salt! It’s a cheap way to flavor foods without much chef training, and easy to control corporately without a skilled concept or executive chef. The food items are very mid-west and carbtastic. That works for me when visiting my Homeland.
