Mega Thrift Store

This thrift store is very over priced. I frequent Antique stores & they have prices marked above Antique store prices. The place needs a make over, and the music is so loud and annoying it makes you want to leave the store ASAP. Not really worth going to. I will not be back.

This is a pretty cool thrift shop, it’s bigger than any other thrift shop I’ve seen. They offer 10% off your purchase when you check in. This place is super organized, which is rarely seen in places like this. Like most thrift shops they have colored tag specials which makes the deal you’re already getting even more sweet. They have all sorts of stuff things like bed linen, curtains, table cloths, toys, games, shoes, swim suits, clothes, purses, DVDs, CDs, dishes, baby items, the list goes on and on. The prices are usually pretty fair, however it’s not uncommon to find an over priced item. The key is not to be too lazy to spend time searching the isles.

I cant believe this store they kicked us out 10 customers 30 minutes early because they said there isnt enough people in store that it was to slow we drove all they way from los Angeles because they advertise that there open tell 9. They said there manager told them to close early if it was slow how do you make money closing early?

If you are looking for vintage thrift, this is not the place for you. If you’re looking for great deals on quality clothes (a number with the retail tags still on them), then you’ll want to visit (and often, as the store rotates clothes quickly, adding 2 for $ 1 deals at the front racks).
If you’re willing to look, you’ll find something worth the drive.

Overall 5stars. I love going in and just walking around. I always end up finding something cool to take home. Clothing is over priced I’d give that a 3 start but but I love this place. I went to the yearly 50% Off entire store event and saved alot of money.
I also rather take my donations here rather than goodwill.

This used to be my go to thrift store. But for the last year the price have increased which has made my visit come to nearly a dead end. I found that I could travel 30 miles further and save 3 times what they are charging at this store. These items are donated to this thrift store. Why on earth would y sell plush/​stuffed toys for $ 9.98? Or a little sandwich Bag of mixed toys $ 2.98 wow they almost have .50 worth of toys in them. A used old blanket$ 14.98 Omg. Who ever is pricing these items use to work at Neiman Marcus.
Or Nordstroms… Because these prices are way out of control… Get a grip Mega thrift. And remember your name. You are a thrift store not a department store. My suggestion: if you’re looking for A bargain… go somewhere else!

Let me start by saying this before writing the above review regarding the pricing, I researched other Unilocal reviews on this particular review and I would say I definitely I am not alone in my views.
Regardless of how I felt about the thrift store, I have donated bags of toys and clothes to this store and on many different occasion have I dropped a bag or two into the donation bin before I walk in to shop. Again many times I have done this.
Today I was approached by Management regarding my Unilocal review, She knew exactly who I was she called me by my name? She must have researched me before questioning me but she Walked up to me point blank and asked me Why did I write what I did? Why did I leave them this negative review?
I said I was speaking the truth, that’s what this Unilocal was about, that they needed to be aware that these items are all donated they should be priced accordingly. well needless to say she asked be to leave her store that she did not want my business and NEVER come back and asked her thugs to remember my face, Yes that’s right. For leaving a review on Unilocal!That she didn’t like it, that my review gave her bad business? (I’m not sure but she singled me out because I’m not the only one who left a review regarding pricing)
*I know you Manager will be reading this today so please read other reviews before mine… Yes before me. Reviewer before me have been treated like criminals, by you and your strong arm security, and For you to single me out is noted.
This store is filled with ex-​cons or Community service workers? Not that they don’t need work either but come on they are stationed at every end of the store and walking around like they are just waiting for you to steal something. the manager had these men came to her aide like they want to assist her in throwing me out, why? because she didn’t approve of my review? She can trow me out of her store but… This is Unilocal and your suppose to tell the Truth… And Truth is this store is filled with donated items from our community for the community why would they fill it with intimidating thugs and clueless managers who are Price gouging the community with there own donations? I buy my items and resale them, thrift store are filled with people like me who do this also, but our profit is not a 100% we PAY for items they are not donated to us.
We have the right to question or comment about this especially if there is a forum for it!
This was not the way customer service should work and if You are a *manager then you definitely need to learn how to take criticism and deal with it in a professional manner.

If you read my first review then why would you TROW me out of your store??? Because that’s what I was giving you, my comments and opinion.
Before I even left my first review I Spoke to your Mother Anita, regarding pricing… I told her many times pricing was out of control for thrift stores
And If she understood why these prices are so high? I told her of other thrift stores I visit and told her their pricing and color tag sales, her response to me was a Blank look in my face, or that she didn’t know.
and Stereotyping? Really?
You approached me, by name, while I was shopping in your store to question me?. regarding my Unilocal review regarding pricing… Then when you didn’t like the truth of my response you asked Me to leave your store and don’t come back and told the Men around you to remember me, that you did not want me in your store. When a person is being «approached“in the store in a intimidating manner with five men behind her while leading/​trowing a person «Out» it does feel like thug mentality… I’m a 60-​year-​old woman, I was shopping in your store, I donate to your store, I left an opinion on Unilocal «you were overpriced» so you threw me out?

Wow!!! Went into the this store hoping to find a good deal for my kids at my day care, just needed toys and props. But walked out after I was being followed by some thugs! I couldn’t tell if they were planning to attack me or what they where really there for? But after being followed around and seeing the prices where more than Walmart I ran out of that place. Locked my car doors!!! This place is a Mega Rip Off! DONT SHOP THERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET MUGGED!!! Go to Savers in Riverside instead!!!

Very disappointed in this store not a friendly environment there are people shadowing you at all times! Pricing is way way over priced. I drove down from LA and it was a waste of gas. I found a SAVEDS much better pricing and customer service. Very disappointing hopefully they read this and adjust the pricing.

I have stopped in on two separate occasions and I felt like they were completely over priced!!! so expensive !! For a thrift store not so thrifty!

Wow got some great deals in mega thrift today I will be back next week

First time here… Very organized prices very reasonable on clothing. I was in search for some glassware which didn’t carry the same bargin pricing. Overall worth a visit if your in the area.

Very impressed one of the best thrift store in the area if not the best!!! Everything is were it needs to be very organized very put together. They have everything you can think of great people and amazing prices. Definitely will be back again

This is a good place to spend a few hours, they have a big variety of things, clothes, books, things for your home, pretty much anything you are looking for. The only bad thing about the store is that they forget the meaning of the word «THRIFT» it is pretty pricey for a second hand store. Unless you go on the days they offer discounts, it’s really not worth going you are better buying the item brand new and paying the same price (and saving yourself the fragrance that comes with thrift store finds ;)

I never leave bad reviews. This is my first. But I’m very upset. I Usually come here for project items. Today I found some glasses I needed to fix my late grandmothers broken glasses as a surprise for my mother. The rack I found them on was priced at $ 1-​$ 5. When I showed the girl she refused to sell them to me only after trying to up the price. being that they weren’t marked. I found a similar pair for $ 1.98. And she still wouldn’t sell them. I even offered to buy them for $ 10. Because I needed the hinge really bad. She said I had to come back another day. What business turns away a sell. As a business owner myself. That was very disappointing and poor customer service. Zero stars

Expensive Expensive Expensive!!! For used clothes come on you got to be kitting me. yard sales are way cheaper and you don’t deal with tax$$$$

My 3^rd time here. First time I was disappointed. Second time I thought I’d give it another shot. Third time my mom wanted to check it out.
Not Recommended. I like to go search for hidden treasures… or just fulfill my need to shop. BUT this place is ridiculous. No half off colored tags. or amazing specials to make me come back. And customer service is a joke these people are rude.
The only deal it seems they offer is 20% off on a certain day to seniors or a early bird special of 20% off on sat. I think. OR You can show them your phone to save $ 5 off a $ 20 purchase.
SO here was my experience…$ 18 for a no name sweater. $ 12 for some decent condition heels. $ 7 for a infant dress. $ 9 for a Disney doll with no clothes and god awful knotted hair. Holliday stuffed animals mostly starting at $ 4 and up. Not impressed! But was determined to get SOMETHING. I was 35 – 40 min from home I didn’t wanna leave empty handed.
I asked about any time of secret sale since they don’t post anything and it’s odd for a thrift store not to have a colored tag sale of something. This place doesn’t discount like that BUT that’s when I learned about showing them their website on your phone for $ 5 off $ 20. Seriously you just show them the website on the phone haha. Kinda lame for them… no check in or anything. ANYWAYS so I’m shopping with my mom… so I think two people… two check outs so I’ll save $ 10. NO! They won’t let me show them the website from the same phone?! Wth?! LAME!!! SO if I (one person) came in with my iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and 3 other devices ALL with their website on it… do I get to use the Website deal 6 times?!
Holiday stuff gets NO discount. And ALOT of their tags on clothing etc say «NO DISCOUNT». A lot of dumb rules. It’s a thrift store! It’s all donated. It’s to help less fortunate people get things they need at an AFFORDABLE price. This place was a Major FAIL.
Toy department is ALL overpriced and JUNK.
Furniture department is SMALL and mostly damaged or missing parts.
Dish wear is decent selection but $ 4 – 5 for a vase? And mugs $ 2 – 3
Clothes! LOTS LOTS LOTS and VERY overpriced on the stuff worth buying. Forever 21 dress $ 12?! They cost $ 10 to $ 20 new. plaid shirt no brand name $ 7 (an hour later at Walmart I bought one for $ 9.98).
Woman’s shoes ALOT… an whole two sided aisle. Lowest price I saw was $ 5.98 and they we just okay looking. The baby shoes I wanted were $ 9.98
Anyways I travel far and wide to thrift shop. And this is probably one of the worst… like even if I was a couple minutes from it id pass it up. Not worth the rude cashier and disappointment when I think I found something just to look at the tag and be.

I was in the area and was looking for something to do, when I came across this place on Unilocal.After reading some reviews and looking through the pictures, I decided to give this place a try.
I’m not usually a thrifting person, I just like to go to see if I can find any treasure items. A big thing for me when going to thrift stores, is cleanliness. And this place was just that. I didn’t expect everything to be so organized and well kept. Everything had its place and were in the spots they are suppose to be in. I appreciate the employees working hard on keeping this place tidy and clean.
As for their selection, the pictures from months ago showed that they had a lot of variety. I guess it depends on the donations that comes in. Other than that, they had clothes in every selection and sizes; they also have purses, shoes and things for around the house like bedding! They have a children section with clothes, shoes, and toys which was very nice.
When I was going through the clothes selection, the price seemed fair. I’ve been to a few overpriced thrift stores but this one was not it.
Though I walked out with nothing, my experience there went fairly well. As time was passing by, I noticed that it was getting more crowded and people were leaving with bags of goodies. It’s a place I can tell people from around the area go to often.

Overpriced everything. Furniture is as expensive as brand new furniture from Ikea, same with clothes, $ 12 for a dress that wasn’t even name brand? $ 90 for a bike and it’s tires did not have any thread all, completely flat! Ridiculous! Also an older man standing behind the counter was staring at my chest the entire time. Don’t waste your time, there’s better thrift stores out there.

They really deserve no stars at all! Would highly recommend if you like being treated like some kind of thief by a bunch of people that look like gang members giving you dirty looks and staring you down like they’re going to kick your ass. The store may not be in the best area but it still unnecessary to hire people to behave like that.

I Love Thrift stores. Im a hardcore cheapskate. I was THRILLED to see this store actually sorts the rack by size!
Unheard of! Prices were great. Jeans were ²⁄₃ bucks. And the items are clean & in good shape.
Primarily clothes, sone shoes, quite a bit of jewelry in the cases, few household aisles. Not much furniture.
I could easily cover the gas expense to go down the hill from what id save,!
