Atlas Auto Body & Paint

Horrible body shop. Had to come back over 4 times. Still not right.

I’ve been using Atlas Auto Body & Paint for over 10 years and have recommended them to every person I know that has needed body work.
A friend once had a truck in front of him drop a bucket of paint and it splashed all over his hood. He took some steel wool to the paint to get it off, but ended up scratching the heck out of the clear coat. He took it to a couple places and they were quoting him $ 500 – 800 to repaint. We took it over to Atlas and they said they could fix it up for $ 250. They said the paint probably wouldn’t match exactly, but it would be so close and the whole hood would be painted, that you wouldn’t be able to tell. We got the car back in 3 – 4 days and as they said, you couldn’t tell the difference in color and the car was back to it’s old luster!
Other times we’ve had minor fender benders and have taken it to David and Zack and they’ve taken care of the claim and the damage. The cars were returned in perfect shape.
Most recently, I brought them a 2002 Toyota Camry that had it’s fair share of nicks and scratches and asked them to fix a rusty ding in the driver’s front door and detail it. When I went to pick it up, it was immaculate. It looked brand new. Of course, the spots where paint was missing couldn’t be fixed without a lot of additional cost, but the black marks from fingernails or dragging a suitcase over the bumper were all gone. It was quite a transformation.
They have a lifetime warranty on the repair, so you can rest easy knowing if anything goes wrong, your repair will be taken care of.
I’m not sure what Greek mythology or a book of maps has to do with car repairs, but whatever the connection, these guys are the titans of auto body repair.
P. S. Atlas was a titan, not a god, you really should go brush up on your Greek Anthropology!

We have used Atlas five times for our family over the last 8 years and they were FANTASTIC! David and Zack are both pleasant, honest and accurate in their estimates. Their work was timely, technically perfect, and reasonably priced! I am shocked at the other bad reviews! You couldn’t get more reliable friendly expertise than at Atlas!!!
We use them preferentially even when our insurer had another recommendation!!!

Chose this location because it was State Farm Ins. Approved. The free rental car was a great gimmick as well. After already having an estimate for repairs, the front desk «salesman» told me it would be 3 days for them to re –inspect the vehicle estimate and then, if it was repairable they would offer me a loaner. But if it was totaled they wouldn’t get paid and don’t give out free loaners (understood, but that might be the price of getting pre-​selected for repairs by a major Ins. company). I said lets get started and went ahead with the paper work. Signed over my $ 4k+ check and signed a one sentence release form saying that I approve them to do repairs, Repairs? If they are doing the repairs shouldn’t I get a loaner? Started questioning further and the man became irate and his English became very muttered. He told me that it sounds like I have something better to do or in my mind and that they did not need MY business. I asked for the forms that had my signature back and he said, «No, they are his forms» but they had state farm logo’s all over them. After some persuasion I got him to shred the forms and give me back my estimate and check. Seemed like a respectable place, being «at a dealership», but he also said that they have nothing to do with the dealership. Can’t say any thing about their work, but take caution if you want a great customer service experience.
