This tiny little hole into the wall store sells overpriced expired items. And if the store is even open after a long dive to get there you are in luck! This guy posts his business hours and then comes to work whenever he feels like it. Completely disorganized hot mess.

Love this place. Easier to find now. They have lots of little things that remind me of my trip to Turkey.

This place was so hard to find. It was tucked away and had a tiny sign on the door. I had to call the guy to find it and he even had to walk out and wave. the store is small but they did have reasonable prices. I got frozen baklava and it wsa the most amazing one I have every had.

Bakkalmart offers a good variety of Turkish produce. Products are reasonably priced but not fresh. Some of the products on shelves are expired(beware, the date format on these products are DD/MM/YYYY). Selling expired products is beyond my work ethics. If there is one thing a grocery owner should do, it should be offering the best product. If you have a low turnover rate, order less but more frequently, it is better than making one of your potentially loyal customers angry. I purchased quite a few items: biscuits, some canned products, a few candies and I did not check the expiration dates because I trusted them. No! Don’t do that to yourself, just go to another Mediterranean market.

This is not a restaurant but a market. You can find many Turkish products here.
