Called in an order to go, while waiting sitting at a table, we saw German roaches crawling on the walls in the restaurant. I was so disgusted that I could not eat what I paid for. DONOTGOTHERE… Roaches in the eating area also means roaches in the kitchen… UGHHHH Please do not go to this place it will make you sick due to roaches and uncleanliness. N

The Philly’s here are fantastic. I have had a lot of Philly’s and these are easily the most authentic and best tasting! I will admit that the building doesn’t look really awesome, but I am not there for the architecture just great sandwiches. The place can look kind of dingy, but the have a good health score and 8 have never had any issues eating there. Hey its a dive, right? Try the Rocky cheesesteak.

Looks better than it tastes. Meat isnt juicy enough. The flavor doesn’t stand out. The french fries aren’t special at all.

I tried this place for the first time last week. The Philly cheese steaks are DELICIOUS! :-)! I went back the same night for another one! This will be a regular stop for us!

I love coming to this location time and time again. I am a regular here now and have gotten to know these great people! Service is great! Food quality is consistent and very yummy in my belly! So glad they are local here in Richardson. My favorite to get is #20. It is called«the vet», comes with peppers plus the meat. Their seasoning is flavorful, buns are never soggy and don’t forget the Fred’s sauce if you are adventurous like me! Try also a #2 with bacon! You can’t go wrong!

Good stuff! Went here for lunch, the place is definitely a hole-in-the-wall style. Haven’t had a philly cheese steak in quite some time, this one was very good, perfect proportion of cheese, meat & bread, and very flavorful. Fries were well seasoned and fried just right. Place could be a little cleaner, but not out of the ordinary for an older, divey place. Would visit again.

What can I say? Good sandwiches in a filthy restaurant. The whole place needs a good scrubbing. Ladies, this is a boys’ club, probably because it’s so visually unappealing.

Size, size, size! Quick service! We literally got our food in less than 15 minutes. 10 inch rocky cheesesteak was BOMB! We also ordered the mushroom cheesesteak and that was delicious as well just not as flavorful and scrumptious as the rocky! We will definitely be back to try other options on the menu!

This is my favorite guilty pleasure. I don’t like cheese so I get the pepper steak and it never disappoints. The meat is tender and flavorful and the bread is soft and chewy. I like the feel of this place. I like the way it’s a little run down. I like the way it’s decorated. I like the staff. It’s always the same woman and 2 guys. They always make me feel like they are welcoming me back to their own kitchen. I don’t want it to be shiny and new. This is ‘hole in the wall’ perfected. My boyfriend is from Philly, and if I want brownie points I bring him two large extra meat cheesesteaks with peppers, provolone and cheese wiz. It makes him feel the way I feel when he sends roses.

Solid steak sandwiches here. Great sauces as well. Was disappointed that nobody ever told me about the special of the day though. Great food though!

I want to give this place a higher rating but came in after lunch around 1:30 and waited exactly 22 minutes. Product is good and I can forgive time but not if it’s excessive. The product would have to change my life to forgive that much time. honestly id rather just get charleys steakhouse in the mall which is much quicker and better. About 5 other people in the place and all ahead of me and all waited that long so lesson is that it takes a while. i can only imagine how slow during lunch hour. fries were over cooked and i love fries which is why i can eat them. almost like potato sticks. im sure it was a bad batch? staff is friendly JEANS: OK by far ORDER: at counter

This Freds was a lot bigger than the one I reviewed in Plano. I ordered the #24– Rocky cheesesteak. They don’t have crab fries at this location because the cook is allergic to them.(I was upset but defined understandable.) I asked for extra cheese wiz and when I opened the sandwich it was dry. Noticeably dry. Still had great flavor but the cheese wiz would’ve made it that much better. Sadly to say I was disappointed.

Best Phillis in Dallas! Heads down! The staff is amazing and go above and beyond! This place is crowded around lunch hour but there’s a reason why, and it’s clear the moment you take your first bite! Love, love, love this place!

It’s not fancy and needs an over haul, but the food is very good. It’s one of the best cheese steaks around. The couple who own it are quiet but friendly. The bread was nice and soft. The meat is cooked and seasoned well and I always get extra cheese and its a perfect sandwich.

A staple of Phlly Cheesesteaks in the Dallas Area. Small place but the cheesesteaks are the best around. Fries i could live without the last time i had them. Gotta love the Fred’s Sauce.

My first stop in and the food is good. I got a #2 Philly Cheesesteak and Philly toothpicks batter dipped onion and jalapenos. The bread was soft and tasty, bearing in mind I order a regular Philly 10 inch meat did seem light but, reasonable portion. The sandwich was great onions lightly sautéed meat was juicy and flavorful the cheese at the base tasted like a white American cheese or light provelone. No wiz? But as the cheesesteak varies I’m it’s home state this one was good. At lunch time it’s no nonsense pick a sandwich pick a size move to the right. I showed up at 11:45 am and the regulars were already lining up. Friendly staff with a quaint hole in the wall look. Great food will be back. They also offer a 60 once monster they call the liberty bell for the adventurous eater.

This was my first Philly sub, so I don’t have much to compare it to but I’ll say it tasted wonderful. The meat is sliced very thin and its seasoned well:) I’d give it a try!

Whole in the wall place in an actual safe location — Richardson. Been hearing good things about this place so I decided to stop by during lunch. Once in a while I crave for a good Philly cheesesteak(meat, mushroom, jalepenos, and cheeeese). This place definitely hit the spot. Sandwich is simple, bigger in size but not too shabby. Inside is decked out in Philly décor. Love it! Had really great service during our experience. Just make sure to check their hours before arriving.

Seriously does nobody care about the nasty 1980’s fan above the grill back in the kitchen that’s covered in dust and is falling apart? I’m pretty sure that’s a health code violation. Oh and the Philly cheese steak was mediocre at best. When I walked in there were only two people sitting down eating the older black women never even greeted me as I walked up to the counter it was like what do you want? she seemed very unpleasant and not happy to see me. This place is disgusting and would definitely not recommend.

Best Philly in Dallas. HANDSDOWN! I’ve had Gino’s which comes close to second and Texadelphia which comes in dead last… The sandwiches are a little greasy and the shop is a little run down, but other than that, any cheesesteak you get from here would be worth your buck!
