Dinah and her staff are very empowering. They make sure you are informed of all your options, including their risks, and respect your choices. We have had two of our three children here, and with another on the way, we wouldn’t want to go anywhere else.

I received care from Lovers Lane Birth Center from the beginning of my pregnancy to six weeks after delivery. Dinah and Kristy were both exceptionally great midwives! They were both very informative and professional with my care. Being that this is my first child of course I had a million questions. When it came too labor and delivery they were superb coaches! I can’t thank them enough for delivering my wonderful baby boy! The whole experience was a great pleasure for me and I highly recommend them to any woman wanting a natural, wonderful birthing experience.

I really enjoyed my experience at Lover’s Lane Birth Center. Both Dinah and Adelle are great midwives who allow you the freedom of choosing what procedures and interventions you would like (at least for me since I was low risk). I hate needles and they allowed me to only have one blood test during the whole pregnancy since I was within normal range. The whole staff is very friendly and I like that the appointments are relaxed and patient-​focused (most appointments are about an hour).
I had a home birth but you can also have the baby at their birthing center. Also, I don’t have good medical insurance (I have a high deductible plan of $ 5,000) and paying for the birth and all of the prenatal/​postnatal visits was less than the amount of the deductible.
I highly recommend Lovers Lane Birth Center and I encourage all women to look outside traditional hospitals and educate themselves about their choices.
