History

Established in 2002.

After visiting many pet care companies in the DFW area, it was obvious that there was something missing in the pet care industry — a place that lovingly cares for pets like they are loved at home. Pappy’s Pet Lodge opened in June 2002! Since day one, it has been our mission to keep the pets as our #1 priority. Pappy’s quickly became the «go to» place to take your pets. Soon, Pappy’s expanded to 3 locations. In 2011, Pappy’s Pet Lodge transitioned to a new owner that had the resources and vision to take Pappy’s Pet Lodge into the future. We now have 6 locations: Addison, North Plano, Richardson, Rockwall, & Roanoke.

Since 2002, Pappy’s has been recognized and awarded for outstanding service to the community and our clients. A few of the awards are: Best of D Magazine 2004, 2014, & 2015, Times Register Best of the Best, Living Magazine Reader’s Choice, Plano Star Courier Reader’s Choice, & Chamber Small Business of the Year.

Meet the Manager

Stephanie G.

Manager

Stephanie had always wanted to work with animals. Since joining the Pappy’s team in November of 2010, Stephanie quickly became an exceptional member of the team and a great leader.

She has 2 dogs, a sheltie mix named Maverick, a beagle mix named Scamper, and a frisky cat named Chester. She enjoys spending time with her family (fur babies included), reading, trying to be crafty, and spending time with friends.

When asked why people should trust her to care for their pets, Stephanie said, «I love all animals and try my best to love them like my own. Having a dog that can be extremely shy has helped me have patience to help provide each pet a good environment». Stephanie loves seeing pets excited to come spend time with us, whether it’s for the day or for an extended stay.
