Pearl Acupuncture

Pearl is a great acupuncturist. I have to write on behalf of my husband because he had such great results and I have definitely benefited as well :)
He went to Pearl with chronic back problems and after only a few treatments, his pain was gone! She really has a knack of finding exactly the cause of the pain and getting results. He has continued to see her for regular preventative maintenance and highly recommends her to anyone who is physically active.

I am very impressed with Pearl Acupuncture. I have constant stress headaches and allergies so I thought that I would give acupuncture a try. This was my first acupuncture experience & I loved it! I had no idea what to expect — but Pearl, my practitioner walked me through the new patient process & answered all of my questions with detail. We talked about my medical background & my overall goals for treatment. The treatment itself lasted about 30 minutes total and Pearl made sure to walk me through all the steps, explaining the process and making sure I was comfortable. The biggest benefit I feel after working with Pearl is the newfound sense of balance. I always feel more peaceful & able to regulate my energy levels after just one session. After my weekly treatments, I am able to achieve great sleep — which lasts throughout the week!
I recommend trying acupuncture here if you have stress (which we can all relate too!), headaches, allergies or trouble sleeping!

I was in town for business and was recommended to Pearl Acupuncture to get treatment for stress and sleep deprivation (pretty common for business travelers). I can’t say enough about how quickly Pearl was able to fit me in on such short notice. That plus her professionalism and the treatment itself was great. I get acupuncture regularly where I live, so Pearl made me feel comfortable and right back at home.

Great news! After 7 months of trying for pregnancy and ONLY 2 months of seeing Pearl, we are pregnant with our second child!!! I truly attribute this slight miracle to Pearl and her accurate treatment. We are thrilled that acupuncture was the reason we are finally able to have our second. I now see Pearl every few weeks to maintain and treat any «morning sickness» symptoms. We owe our joy of having a baby all to Pearl! Woohoo indeed, as good as it gets. Life is good!

I’ve been to 4 acupuncturists in the last 3 years and Pearl’s Acupuncture is by far my favorite. I use acupuncture to help with irritability and anxiety. I felt results after the fist visit and have been slowly been feeling better each week. Also, the customer service is top notch and the wait time has been non existent!

Pearl is the best! She definitely knows her stuff, can’t argue with a couple generations of experience in her family. Try acupuncture with Pearl before anything else, save yourself from meds that can make things worse.
I have suffered from migraines due to stress, eye strain, and everything else you could think of. I have been on high levels of steroids, narcotic pain killers, and even injections into my neck and back to help ease the migraines and pain. I went out on a search to end all the ineffective toxic options that were given to me by countless doctors. When Pearl suggested a treatment plan I was eager to have a treatment that would not have the potential of all the side effects from medications. After steady seeing Pearl i am 100% pain killer/​steroid free, my sleep has improved and my stress level is easily managed with acupuncture. I can’t say «seeing» is believing because unlike a pill or potion it’s all natural and offers immediate relief.
The medications and typical treatments for migraines/​headaches are so not worth the risks of side effects that unfortunately gave me more side effects than relief of my pain. You go in, completely zen for half an hour and come out with super clarity mentally and pain free. Keep an open mind to acupuncture if you have never had the chance to experience it. Pearl is amazing because she will totally humor your hesitation to the unfamiliar and answer all your questions in a way you can understand. My treatment involves cupping which is something that your body will thank you for trying! Pearl has serious skills and I am convinced nothing else has made the impact acupuncture with her has had!

I have been going to a chiropractor for years and had never thought about acupuncture as an adjunct. I am now going to be a regular! I told Pearl about my tightness in my neck, shoulder, and back as well as my chronic allergies.
After treatment number one — my neck and back were relaxed. Since, they have relaxed even more. It is great to be able to turn my head 180 degrees regularly!
I used to have to take a Claritin D every day for my sinuses. Since treatment number one (3 weeks ago) I have not yet had to take a Claritin D. That has really helped lower my blood pressure.
Pearl is so professional and knowledgeable. I cannot recommend her practice enough. I am so very glad I went and you will be, too.

Pearl performed her magic with all the little strategically placed needles this afternoon on my wife and I. We both left feeling incredibly relaxed and much better than we felt prior to our sessions. It was my wife’s third visit and my 1^st. We will be back. Very conveniently located with easy access and lots of parking.

Pearl is a pro. Her knowledge is extensive, her professionalism is on point and her personality & style makes the overall experience one that you want to repeat on a weekly basis.
She helped me through an incredibly stressful time in my life that wreaked havoc on my body. She not only listened to my complaints, but she anticipated other issues that I hadn’t noticed yet. The care that she puts into her sessions really leaves you feeling like a million bucks when you leave.
I send my friends in the area as well – and I am very careful who I refer my friend on to.

I have been suffering from tension headaches for 10+ years. For these 10+ years I would pop Excedrin like tic tacs… I’m surprised my friends never put together an intervention. I came to the point where I no longer wanted to live my life taking so much medication. «A pill for every ill,» is not something to live by. I had tried massage. Although relaxing, it never really helped long term. I had always thought about acupuncture but never really followed through. Maybe be it was because I was too skeptical, but after reading more about it online I came across Pearl. I have been to two sessions and I am already feeling relief. My stress level is down and I have not had a headache in a week. This may sound small, but to have a solid week with no headache, this is big. I cannot remember the last time I was headache free for a solid seven days. Needless to say, I am no longer a skeptic.
Pearl is very professional and takes the time to learn about your issues and background. I came into my first sessions thinking that Pearl was going to help minimize my headaches (that’s what pills are for). Instead, I left having learned that Pearl focuses on overall wellness. With the early results that I am experiencing, I wish I had started this sooner.

This review is long overdue and the only reason I am giving Pearl Acu a 4 and not a 5 is because she left Austin and I am TOTALLY bummed that if I want the best I have to travel to Richardson now.
Pearl has helped me with various issues like: a strained lower back from doing dead lifts with crappy form, a serious 3 day headache that was driving me insane, emotional stress from dealing with the lost of a family member and also to help ride me of the infamous Central Texas cedar allergies. From needles to Tui Na to cupping… Pearl knows her stuff and is amazing. She was voted Best Of 2013 by Austin Fit Magazine which was well deserved. She treats every client without haste and truly is a partner in overall health wellness.

Pearl is the only person I even think of when it comes to my acupuncture treatments. Being an athlete I generally come in with more than one issue, and Pearl is always able to facilitate all of my needs. She has excellent communication skills, she always make sure we are on the same page and that I am getting all of my needs met. On more than one occasion she has gone the extra mile to give me resources and show me things to do while i’m at home to help me with my problem areas. I really can’t recommend Pearl enough, She is fantastic!

Before seeking treatments from Pearl, I had headaches and back pain frequently that were caused by stress. I now see her at least once a week and I have noticed a dramatic decrease in pain. Her treatments are also very relaxing which also help with the stress factor. Pearl is always flexible with my schedule and has a convenient location just a few lights down Arapaho from US 75 Hwy.

Pearl is a total life saver. I’ve seen Pearl several times to help with pain and mobility issues in my neck and arm. I always leave feeling a hundred times better, and find the treatment to be more consistent and longer lasting than when I see my chiropractor.

Pearl is gentle, thorough and really takes into consideration what I need. I’ve seen her multiple times for allergies and sinus infections. I really appreciate that she takes the time to explain what the points mean and what to expect.
