Positive Touch specializes in mind-​body-​spirit actualization through classes offered via our MeetUp group as well as therapeutic massage that is truly individualized.

Massage techniques include basic Swedish relaxation massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, cranial-​sacral therapy and energy modalities such as Reiki and Polarity Therapy. Addressing specific issues such as TMJ, migraine headaches, fibromyalgia, and stress management are all part of our practice… restorative and relaxation massage for pain management is also an important focus in every single session.

Positive Touch has been active in the Richardson area since 1989. Thomas and Mary Ellen Terlikowski are also available to teach stress management techniques to individuals or groups.

History

Established in 1989.

Positive Touch was established in Richardson due to the popularity of Thomas Terlikowski and his creation of the on-​site chair massage program at the newly opened Whole Foods Grocery at Beltline and Coit. His wife, Mary Ellen Terlikowski joined him as a massage therapist quickly thereafter.

While the primary focus of Positive Touch is therapeutic massage, classes have entered the business as an

adjunctive mechanism to provide information about creating and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
