Post Eastside

Resident since last 3 years, had an excellent experience. The property is manged well, safe and secure .Good experience so far and maintenance team/​property management were very co-operative.They have very good units available now in much reasonable rate in this area, check it out, before they goes away. Oh I forgot to mention, the restaurants inside the community are pretty good too plus this is close to DART stations and US75.
I have to change base location and leave early due to personal reasons, so bit upset. However am hoping the exit process remains smooth with the property management. Lets see, keeping fingers crossed.

These apartments look nice on the outside, and at first glance, but it only takes a day to start realizing how cheap the building materials are.
The walls are paper thin– apartment groups don’t care about cheap construction because they only ever let you view models — you can’t view the actual unit they’re offering to rent even if it’s unoccupied.
The buildings at Post Eastside let every foot step reverberate through the adjacent units and the ones below. If you aren’t on the top floor you should get used to not sleeping. This problem is amplified by the fact the unit doors are weighted to close completely on their own, so you will hear slamming doors very late into the night/​early morning that are so loud it actually shakes the floor.

I moved out of this apartment early because of many issues not addressed. They said they would not charge rent since moving out month early if rented which it was. Then I get a call saying I owe 900 $ plus for pet damage to carpet which no pets were ever in there and 40 $ for a microwave shelf that was never in there. I was hesitant to move out early because of a careless office and then this crooked people doing this. The letter below is the letter of all the problems we had there.

Post East Side, Richardson, Texas:
This letter concerns apartment number 3238. I lived here since March of 2015, when I first moved in the complex it seemed to be a higher class upstanding complex which is why I chose to live here. Or so I’ve always been told that Post complexes have a great reputation. I moved into a beautiful apartment, nice amenities, maintenance on point, etc.
I have a number of complaints of which do not give Post Eastside that that name and do not hold any sort of integrity to the company its self (or so this location).
The trash shoot is right next to the entrance of the complex and did not have a strong odor until 2 months after I moved in. Especially because of the summer the smell became increasingly worse. The trash shoot was always full and seemed to never be emptied on time like a complex should be on top of. The garage door that the trash bin is kept in is typically left open leaving it disgusting to walk into my entry.
Since I’ve lived here the elevator has been broken a dozen times and takes days and up to a week to get fixed. I’ve told the management about it and complained. Their only response to me was that there is another elevator on the other side of the complex (which is completely inconvenient to where I park and live). For spending what one spends to live in a ‘nice complex’, the elevator should not take up to a week to be fixed. I am an older gentleman and my knees are not as young as they used to be, I don’t appreciate having to walk up and down the stairs to get to place.
I went on a short business trip out of the country and came back to my door being dented in badly all over and the lock was tampered with making it hard to lock the door from the inside. Maintenance had to come in and fix it. The maintenance didn’t seem to think it was anything that should cause any concern.
Around July I personally made more than half a dozen noise complaints about very loud video games and sound systems all throughout the day and night. And finally after two weeks of complaining it stopped for a couple weeks and began again. Once again I called over and over to have a courtesy officer sent over to ask the neighbors to turn the noise down and no one came. THEY NEVER COME. Isn’t this supposed to be a perk of living in a complex of this stature?
I asked to add an additional large storage unit to my lease and the lady told me that she had a 10X17 and I told her that would be a perfect size. She sent me over a new lease agreement for the unit, I signed and sent back over. The office staff is completely incompetent in running this complex in the fact that they have no idea where their storage units are located. They gave me a unit number and I searched by myself for 45 mins in the heat and couldn’t find it. I then called again and told them I needed them to help me find it. The girl came up and walked around for about 10 minutes and proceeded to tell me that ‘this was the storage unit but the number must have been missing’ and laughed. She opened the storage unit and it was smaller than my closet in my bedroom & full of empty boxes. I told her I asked for a larger unit and she said didn’t know what sizes they had but she would check and would go back to the office and take care of getting me a large unit. She said she would personally bring me the key in the morning and show me where the new unit was. That morning I was already having movers coming to fill the storage unit. That girl never called or brought me key so I had to call back and she said she was having someone work on it. By this time it was noon and she told me that the maintenance was on lunch and would have the key fit and brought to me when he got back. Of course after lunch I called again because still no one called me about maintenance making a key for the large unit. By this time it was well into the afternoon and my truck had already arrived and having to wait till after lunch to wait for my storage unit key to be fitted. This alone costs me time and money. Of course since the ladies in the office have no communication with each other, another lady called asking me to send her back the lease I had already sent her. After I finally received my key and unit, I come to find out that they gave me a unit by the disgusting trash shoot that smells like dead animal.

I have lived in 4 different apartments so I understand «normal apartment noise» loud bumping bass music and people laughing and yelling in the halls and apartment at 3 in the morning on a weekday is not normal noise. Made multiple complaints and nothing was resolved, the resident actually got louder. Loved the place before the noisy neighbors moved in

By far the best apartment living experience I’ve had! The folks at the management office were super helpful and accommodated my needs. I was in the process of buying a home, Post Eastside worked with me in case the deal fell over since my lease was up. I never had problems with noise, I hardly ever saw anyone actually. The 24hr 7 – 11 was a super bonus as well. Pricing is reasonable, I thought it was actually on the low end considering all the amenities and restaurants within walking distance.

I had two apartments at this place. The first one was one that faced a courtyard. It was mostly quite which was important because I was a student. My only complaint was I could hear my neighbors walking above me occasionally which would get annoying late at night, but for the most part wasn’t a big deal during the day. A few times some girl had a party in the adjacent apartment and I could hear them talking loudly on the patio. This only happened a few times so I let it slide. All in all the first apartment was great.
The second apartment I got faced outside. Oh my god I could hear 75 screeching all night long and had to set my fan to max to try and drown out the noise. I tried to find another available apartment to transfer to that faced a courtyard but could not so I canceled my lease and moved out.
So in short: get an apartment that faces a courtyard on the top floor and you will have peace and quite. Otherwise be prepared to be bothered by road noise and people walking on you

The parklike setting features six gathering courtyards with water features and free live entertainment. Parents love the clean and safe environment!
And this local jewel is FREE with abundant parking!

Post Eastside has restored my faith in leasing offices… the staff here is amazing. Over the past 10 years, my wife and I have lived in several apartment complexes, and there have always been serious issues with the leasing office and maintenance requests. We moved here from Valley Ranch in January of 2013, and expected the same kind of service you’d expect elsewhere: Glad to have us sign a new lease and then gradually stop answering calls or giving a crap.
This place is different, and I don’t know if it is a company-​wide policy toward quality, but this latest lease renewal was the easiest decision we’ve made in quite a while.
Our main contact in the leasing office truly defines what customer/​resident service should be. I do not want to mention his name, because I am afraid Post Eastside would lose him to promotion, but he is well-​known across the community for doing an excellent job. Maintenance requests are done quickly and they have a 48-​hour policy that if your request has not been completed, your rent will be deducted on a pro-​rated basis for as long as you without said service. Leasing agreements are a breeze, but not just for the leasing office. They will draw everything up and email you a link, and you click on each section and sign. It makes it much easier and much less stressful for those of us who actually like to READ what is in a contract without having an individual stare at you impatiently.
Now, in none of this review have I begun to describe to quality of the apartments. As my sister-​in-​law said when she first visited: «this feels like a house.» Real marble countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms, stainless steel appliances, real tile in the foyer, kitchen and bathrooms, and a choice of wall colors.
If you’re looking for a new apartment, give Post Eastside a try… it truly is a refreshing experience in apartment leasing.
