Richardson Food Truck Park

On my first visit I really liked this place. I am pregnant so I could not fully appreciate the bar. The prices seemed a little high to me on the drinks and that is the only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars, otherwise I could easily see this as a place to hang out for hours. They seem to have a pretty good selection and having a full bar was a surprise. I love that it is dog and kid friendly, its casual and comfortable, but there are still clean bathrooms. There was plenty of parking and I actually like that the seating areas are broken up. I think 4 food trucks is a good amount without it being overwhelming and having a good selection. It will be good if these rotate very often to keep it interesting. I will definitely be back to give it another try with a bigger group and maybe be able to review the bar as well.

I have been here several times and feel I can sufficiently write a review. This food park is set up around a fireplace for snores and a permanent truck that is set up like a bar. The other trucks are spread around it. The announce the trucks everyday on the Richardson Food Truck Facebook page and they’re very consistent. This would be a great place to take the kids of dog and spend some time playing games, talking. It’s nice to spend time outdoors. Very original concept, love that we have a food truck in Richardson!

Let me preface this review by saying that the Richardson Food Truck Park was not what I was expecting.
We came here with our two great friends and snagged a table in the middle area. This is a small food truck park with a friendly atmosphere that caters to pets and children. Win Win!
There were a four food trucks and a bar in the middle. Seating was plenty and the area was not packed. I like that everything was accesible and parking was easy to find on the street. When compared to the Truck Yard, this is a more family friendly place with a less crowded vibe.
I will be back. I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

What a cool place! We loved the set up and all food trucks were great! Met the owner Michelle and manager Rhada, both very cool and friendly. Also excellent selection of beer and even have Richardson’s own brewery Four Bullets; great place check it out!

Hands down one of our favorite parts of living in Richardson (RIP East Dallas neighborhood that we can no longer afford,) is the Richardson Food Truck Park. Yes, it’s a little tucked away, but once you find it, you’ll see that this is a hipster locavore’s dream. Especially if you drink good beer.
As other reviewers have noted, it’s silly to review this park based on the food, as they change all the time, and the quality of them aren’t on the responsibility of the food truck park. I’m a vegetarian, but was still able to find something amazing great to eat.
But the real winner here, like the much larger version in Dallas or Austin, is the bar. Because holy shit does this place support local craft beer. This is the location where you will be able to get the freshest Four Bullets beer, outside of going directly to the brewery a couple blocks away. Peticolas, Oak Highlands, Lakewood, Deep Ellum, etc. This palce has it all. And they are all very affordable and highly recommended to day drink or night drink your cares away.
Keeping in line with our hipster roots and love of local beer, this place is in our rotation for places to eat at in the city we now call home. It’s not East Dallas, but at least it’s not Plano.

Cool little space in an industrial area of Richardson (not far from Four Bullets Brewery). Plenty f outside seating, clean bathrooms, a bar with 8 local brews on tap and many more in cans.
They have rotating food trucks there (usually 3) and even wait on the tables with drinks. Definitely recommend a visit if you like food trucks!

Love this concept!!! Had lunch today here today and thoroughly enjoyed myself. So excited that Richardson has this little gem.

I was so excited about this place but was very disappointed. We went on my birthday, got there about 7:30 and all of the trucks had closed and apparently run out of food. So for a place open until midnight on a Saturday, I would expect there to be available food until at least 10. There were also a TON of children, screaming and running around. This surprised me as I expected it to be more of an adult environment. I wasn’t very impressed with the drink selection. We stayed for one drink and then ventured elsewhere since we were suppose to be eating. It also seemed very small and cramped for the number of people who were there. Only positive was that the bathroom was clean.

This place is wonderful. I think it is silly that people are rating this place on the food (please rate the food on the relevant food truck pages).
Parking was easy enough (I parked on the street) and there were many tables available. The staff here cleans the tables after people are done with their food and get up. At each table there are paper towels and an event calendar for events going on in that area on that specific day.
I brought my dog, and as soon as I entered the park a staff member approached me and offered to get my dog his own personal water bowl. There was live music playing which was really cool and there is a bar that offers cocktails, beer, and shots. I had some type of cucumber cocktail, which was perfect!
Their website shows which food trucks will be there on which days, which is super helpful because I can see when my favorite trucks are there. It’s a really great location if you don’t want to drive all the way to Dallas to enjoy food trucks and it’s not at all crowded yet because it is so new (I went on a Saturday around noon). Overall this place is super clean, organized, and pet friendly.

Very enjoyable afternoon. Live music (young kids, and they were very good). Different trucks than I’ve seen before (we went with the Aussie meat pie guy), and the layout was good. Converted house in the middle of a commercial block?! Weird location I think. And if you blink, you’ll miss it.
Kind of like a less awesome version of the truck yard, but way more convenient. I would definitely come back.

Stay away from this place… The worst overpriced burger I ever had at Truck McK $ 8.75 for burger weight less than quarter pound beef patty. $ 2.25 for 16.9 Oz of Ozarka bottle water. Sandwich tasted very ordinary it wasn’t anything Special. Employees should wear gloves while preparing food he had a very big cut on his finger. I will not return or recommend this place even they are giving away food for free.

I really wanted to love this place, but as a vegetarian there just aren’t enough options for me and my friends.
First off I should mention that I have only been one time, and that is because whenever I look at the daily calendar of trucks there is rarely anything that I feel confident would offer a meat-​free dish (or even side dish). I decided to check it out when a comfort food truck was available, because their website mentioned mac and cheese — but once I got there they told me they had no vegetarian options.
They were also supposed to have a bubble tea truck, but when we arrived we were told they randomly left in the middle of the day. This seems strange to me and the person that mentioned it seemed to think this was seen as an unprofessional move when you have a spot scheduled in the park.
My friend and I ended up ordering a dish from the Aussie pie truck. The man in charge was so friendly and accommodating. While he didn’t have a dedicated vegetarian pie on the menu, he did whip up something for us with some veggies, potatoes, beans, and puff pastry. Given that we weren’t able to eat the gravy, the dish was a little lacking in flavor (I felt it needed some salt), but I don’t fault the chef for that at all. He was working with what he had and we were super appreciative of the fact that he did it. The pastry was very airy and flaky too.
The grounds themselves are very cute. Clusters of picnic tables and large shade trees in an unassuming location. A very strange space in the middle of a bunch of old warehouses, but something about it makes it feel like a well guarded secret.
I’d like to go here again, but I’ve checked the calendar several times since my first visit and it just never looks promising for us vegetarians. I hope they can expand their options more, as I know that Richardson has a decently sized vegetarian community.

Great sanctuary in the middle of nowhere. It has everything you really need in a food truck park without all the crazy frills. I only wish that some of the Dallas food trucks (on certain days) could raise their levels so they could look/​taste/​be just as good as the location itself. Oh well, that’s what the calendar is for on their website. Also… They have a full bar now! $ 1 off anything made in Texas during HH. (5 – 7 I believe) Look for Ashton serving at the bar and around the dining areas.

This is a cute place to grab a quick bite and enjoy the great outdoors. A breeze of fresh air, a nice cold beer, and some food truck food is always a great way to spend your weekend evening. Although the selection of food trucks aren’t as impressive as Klyde Warren Park or Austin, it’s a nearby kick it spot. They have about 4 – 5 trucks lined up with a center eating area with benches and tables. They have a schedule of when and what trucks will be there on certain days on their schedule provided on their website/​yelp. Best time to go is on the weekends, they open much later then weekdays. It’s a must go if you’re in the area. It’s located in a hidden dark roadway along the highway but it wasn’t too hard to find. Parking could be a little tricky but not impossible.

Great place to grab some awesome food, a beer, and hang outside! Love that they have prosecco on tap! Yay!

Yes! Richardson needed a place like this. I stopped by Richardson Food Truck Park today for lunch and it was packed. There were four trucks there, but I went with The Guava Tree Truck. It was a good choice; I had the Cuban and really enjoyed it.
This place is dog-​friendly, has a ton of seating, and super clean restrooms. It also has a full bar, which I absolutely would have taken advantage of had I not been returning to work.
The greatest part is that the Arapaho DART station is a short 5 – 10 minute walk from here, so you can visit from Dallas and do a little weekend day-​drinking. It’s also walking distance from Richardson’s first brewery Four Bullets Brewery.
Super pumped about what this park is doing for Richardson’s Interurban District!

Came here last night to check it out considering I live so close, and it was truly awesome. Once the word spreads this is going to be a really rad spot. Great food truck selections, friendly staff, and a really great owner. Really cool design, and concept. HAS A FULL BAR ! Full bar ya here?! Along with awesome local craft beers ! What’s not to love? Will definitely be coming back!

Located between Greenville and 75, just a few blocks south of Arapaho. Neat place that will fun to visit in the fall. Plenty of outdoor seating. Looks like they had room for about 3 trucks. Miska’s cabbage rolls rocked! We will be back, and we will bring friends!
