Really like this place very clean and staff friendly. I get the baklava and my turkish coffee from here. Still needs more variety of middle eastern goods but its still one of my fav places to shop!

I like the selection of meat this place offers but what annoys me is that when u go to a halal grocery shop you expect EVERYTHING to be halal and you don’t go double checking ingredients. They have knorr chicken and beef cubes available which aren’t halal and are products of Mexico, I brought this to the attention of the workers and all they had to say was «it’s kosher» you can still eat it. I mean really? So I drove 30 minutes out if my way to hear that. If I wanted to eat kosher then I would just go to Walmart which is a minute away from my house!

Not much to say, it’s a solid grocery store. Good produce, fresh halal meat, and all the basics you need plus more. Good prices and friendly staff. I always come here when in Dallas.

Cleanest Arab market I’ve ever been to! Well organized with knowledgeable staff. The butchers in particular are always extremely helpful and fast to serve you. They have a wide selection of cuts and meat that I haven’t seen at an Arab market before.

I just moved to Dallas and was looking for a halal butcher. I am glad I trusted all the Unilocal reviews. The market was super clean, the red meat and chicken looked good. They were nicely packaged and didn’t smell. I was amazed by how clean the shop was. I went on a Saturday, it wasn’t super busy and the customer service was awesome.
I cooked ground beef yesterday and it was very delicious. This will be my go-​to market. Oh yes I tried the whole wheat pita and that was super fresh.

Sara Bakery used to be good, for the last 4 months chicken quality is so bad, everytime I go there and look at the chicken trays I feel disgusted, trays have blood, and chicken pieces are too big (cause or hormones), the taste after cooking is so bad, really i started hate chicken cause of sarah, i don’t know why Halal places don’t serve good quality meat rather than taking advantage of people that care about eating halal merat

This place used to have a restaurant that served the best arabic food. I wish they would bring it back! The grocery store is good, best selection of arabic food in Dallas. Man I miss the restaurant…

They have a large selection of middle eastern foods, however many items are written in Arabic, without an English translation on the can.

This is a great little gem hidden in an industrial area of Richardson. My boyfriend introduced me to this store when we were looking for pita bread (which is fresh and wonderful). There is so much more to this little market. The meat is incredible. I grew up in the northern mid-​west and my family owned farms. I was spoiled with organic and free range meat. Not since I moved to Texas have I been able to find the chicken I was accustomed to growing up. It’s completely different than the chicken you will find at chain grocery stores. The Kofta is wonderful. The produce is also very fresh and reasonably priced. I love the containers of peeled garlic and the fresh feta in brine. The store is always clean and the staff are very friendly.

1^st trip today! My wife and I went today. Clean store. Pitas look great. Picked up Za’atar, Falafel mix, Wonderful olives and pickles, Baba ganoush. Great selection of items you can’t find elsewhere. Good prices. Staff was friendly. We’ll be back.

5 stars is the perfect rating for this grocery store. Sara Bakery is super clean and always has fresh ingredients stocked. They have very clean Halal chicken, lamb, and beef. If you are looking for a place that has Mediterranean items on the shelf, this is the place to go. Additionally, Sara Bakery has thin pita bread that they bake in house.

I love this place. They have great veggies and fruit. The fresh pita is worth the trip!
Its a lot cleaner than most markets.
Wish it was closer so we could go every weekend.

By far the cleanest supermarket I have been to. The staff will go out of their way to make you happy as well as management. The cleanest and freshest meats, fruits & veggies in the country. The bread is amazing and melts in your mouth especially when fresh which is 6 days a week!!! Love their wide variety of middle eastern items to choose from. They also have different brands of the same items so you have a pretty big selection. The cheese selection is also amazing and I’m personally in love with the Nabulsi which I recommend is a great and easy midnight snack on some pita bread and just stick in the oven. Overall this place is 7 stars to me and I will remain a loyal customer and would love to see new locations!!!

When I arrived I expected a small little store and bakery, surprisingly it was actually bigger than I expected and I had no problem spotting it. They carry some really nice exotic products I don’t usually find and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The fresh pita goes on sale on Mondays for dirt cheap which I love. Their meats looked absolutely amazing, the steaks were nicely aged and came out really juicy and tender. For me, Sara’s definitely lives up to the hype.

What can I say…
They have everything you need to cook Mediterranean, some Indian and African food. Lots of dairy, dry goods, meats, nuts etc plus the items at the bakery. Prices are great, products fresh and a super nice staff.
This is a must-​go place for the foodies!

I’ve ben coming to Sara’s since well before I knew about Jimmy’s it was the first place I discovered to buy lots of the mediterranean goodies I need to make food like back in Italy!!!
A lot of people will say what? Mediterranean and Italian is two different things ISN“T IT? I will buy those people a map.
The Pita bread here is amazing and you stock up on it and then stock pile it in your freezer as most of my Palestinian friends do.
Excellent selection of Olive Oils of which I recomend Koura Green Olive Oil it is from Lebanon and is the BEST Olive Oil I have found to come from outside of Italy always delicious amazing quality and highly renowned as one of the best in the world.
Great selection of cheeses, and dairy products… You know that whole Greek Yogurt craze that people have been jumping on ever since John Stamos has been advertising it? Well this is the real place to get great East Mediterranean yogurt pick up some it will be labeled as Labne in the cooler and will taste much better than anything by Dannon, or Yoplait, mix it up w honey, nuts and berries, or cucumbers and onions, or garlic for a great sauce and eat it with your kebabs, which you can make from the high quality meat found here.
Pick up some Sujuk salami I put it on my pizza along with ajvar and rosemary. Ajvar btw can also be purchased here it is a balkan mix of red peppers, garlic, and eggplant a nice spread for bread or like I said awesome on pizza great to dip! :)
Zituna Mediterranen Grocery store Came and Went, it was great at fist but it did not stand the test of time, this place has and continues to go strong.
Thank you for always being there Sara! I am seeing Jimmy’s now as well but you are always my first true grocery love. I hope youre ok with that… besides Hes just a pal name is Jimmy after all and I dont swing that way.
p. s. BUY LAZIZA APPLE FLAVORED it is a Lebanese carbonated drink kind of like Apple beer made with Hopps and all IT IS AMAZING!

Ali Babas is the best place so far but who wants to eat a buffet all the time?
Anyway I was Unilocal-​ing and found this little, middle of nowhere market that sold FRESH pita bread, baklava and already marinated MEAT!!! Uh hello… where have you been???
Also Turkish apple tea (good memories from Turkey) and fresh feta cheese, dates and figs everywhere. It was like… beautiful!
I am for sure coming back… wish they had fresh hummus though.

YES! I hope this place is there forever! The pita bread there is delicous! And for $ 1 a bag too! They have thin pita and thick (I personally like the thick).
Be sure and eat quickly, because it will mold after a few days. after I bought it once, I went back and got 3 bags; it ended up molding because I couldn’t eat 3 bags in 4 days :(But you could put it in the fridge maybe.
If I have more time, I will definitely explore the other parts of this mini mart. Hm, I needed some marsala spices …
