History
Established in 1976.
Founded by Eddie Lennox in 1976 in Dallas, Texas, Service King Collision Repair Centers has grown to be a leader in the collision repair industry. Service King currently operates 230 locations across 20 states and continues to expand nationwide.
Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner
Born and raised in Dallas, Lennox was one of five children, who got hooked on working on cars by his two older brothers. He preferred body work to engine mechanics, and soon had a garage business doing body work for his friends. He took an auto body repair class his junior and senior years at H. Grady Spruce High School, and when he got a little more serious about the business, he took a two-year extended program at Eastfield Community College that included accounting. He married his wife Lisa in 1971, and when he was 21 they bought their first home in Garland, where he continued to work on cars in the garage while also working for a trucking company until he recieved a small loan from his neighbor, Charles Morgan, to start his own body shop in Dallas, Texas. When you follow the road map of Eddie Lennox’s life, it takes you from a home garage to a successful business, and includes a 34-year marriage and a close-knit family. As Lennox says, «I haven’t got anything I can complain about.»
