We were regulars before they moved. Ever since they moved to the newer building, they raised their prices, portions are smaller and the food lost all flavor. As for the ambiance — its like eating in a high school cafeteria.

We ordered the Seafood Pescatore in white sauce, Linguini & clams in white sauce & Lobster scampi over linguini. All three had the exact same bland & watery sauce.

My scallops were overcooked, the calamari was nasty and the salad was a haphazard pile of vegetables. And to top it all off… I was charged $ 2.50 for a club soda. Really?! That’s nickeling and diming with a vengeance. The owner should be ashamed.

We just got takeout from here and I don’t wanna say it, but… it might be the worst Italian I’ve ever eaten. I don’t remember it being this bad(well only gotten pizza before). Boyfriend is a local so he typically gets the chicken parm and he likes it. We got chicken Alfredo, rigatoni in a rosa sauce with side of meatballs, garlic bread and side of curly fries(random I know, but I wanted it and turns out it was the best thing we ordered compared to everything else.) The sauces on the pastas were all dried out and flavorless, no garlic salt or Parmesan could save it. The meatballs tasted so weird, chicken was a bit dry, but had some flavor. Not sure if the quality had anything to do with it being a Friday night, but I just wanted good chicken Alfredo I typically don’t like writing bad reviews, but when you’re hangry and you pay almost $ 40 for blah, you’d probably write a bad review too. 1 star for quick service, they said 20mins and we got it in 20mins. Is that actually quick?

Ordered a cheese pizza from here while visiting relatives. I’ve never had a slice of pizza with so little taste. Fries were good though.

Enthusiastic reviews of friends sent us here. It was a fail that we did not first check Unilocal. Giuseppe’s new building is beautiful both from the street and inside. The open layout is grand and appealing. Our initial visit, shortly after the new location opened, was fine. The calamari was decent, my salad was ok and Mr. M’s cheesesteak was good. On our second visit, tears in the fabric of adequate began to show. Although the room was half empty on this midweek visit for a quick meal, we waited for ten minutes to be seated. Initially, the host was nowhere to be found, and then we were asked to wait while they cleaned a table(even though many tables were empty and there was no queue behind us). Ten minutes after we were seated, a waitperson appeared. Mr. M ordered a beer, and the waitress scuttled off to get it. Fifteen more minutes elapsed before the waitress returned to report that they did not carry that particular brew despite its listing on the menu. Several more minutes elapsed before the waitperson appeared with the substitute beer. On this visit, Mr. M’s cheesesteak was gristly and otherwise barely edible. My salad had less-than-fresh greens and was left largely uneaten. Will we return? Not a chance.

My sister and I went there today after arranging my mothers funeral. I ordered Eggplant Parmesan w/spaghetti. The service was horrible and the food was even worse! Will never go back or recommend them to anyone!

How often do you cook the pork for sandwiches? Every week or so was the response! The owner is rude, unfriendly and how about a thanks for stopping in? Used to be the only game in town. Thank goodness that’s changed. Nice building weak food if not downright spoiled

I am a frequent customer of the old and new restaurant and you definitely can’t beat their pizza! We recently had them cater our daughters birthday and it was fantastic, all everyone could talk about was how great the food tasted. I will definitely use them again!

I have only been here once since the new building and had a very nice meal. Staff was awesome, food better than expected. When I came here and saw the negative reviews, I was quite surprised. I will definitely re-visit to see if the positive experience was an anomaly.

Such a nice looking place with such bad tasting food. Just don’t’ get it. Place was empty and it took a while to get our fairly small order. I want to say the pizza dough was actually pretty good, however the rest of the pizza was not.

Appearances are NOT what it seems. The location and structure are quite appealing. However, the staff’s rude unfriendly attitude and poor food quality are extremely disturbing. The food quality is extremely poor. Our simple meal took over an hour to arrive. Management offered a free dessert that we declined because by this point our family just wanted to leave(and NEVER return). Our greatest regret besides choosing this restaurant was that we failed to leave earlier. Any other Italian restaurant in this area is significantly better in both quality of food and service. Disappointed. We arrived midweek around 7:15 pm. The place was not busy. The unfriendly, unhappy waitress(not a greeting, never a smile, nor even eye-contact), took our order right away: mozzarella wedges appetizer, a pepperoni pizza, and a couple of cokes. Of course the pizza came out five minutes before the appetizer.(Clearly, if you want an appetizer to come out first, you have to be explicit about it) Unhappy Waitress had disappeared, and so a runner brought them both with no comment. I told the runner that I had hoped the appetizer would come out before the pizza, but she simple said sorry and walked away. Midway through the pizza, unhappy waitress breezed by, dropped off two more cokes, and left without a word. No one ever inquired about our meal. 20 minutes later, Unhappy Waitress appeared, and asked if we wanted a box for the pizza remnant. The boxed remnant was delivered by another runner. Unhappy Waitress took our payment. Again, no thank-you, no eye-contact, no pleasantries of any kind. Nothing. The hostess did say goodnight on the way out, however. That was nice. The new facility is nice, but the food was mediocre. The service was careless, perfunctory, disinterested, and disappointing. There are plenty of other places for dinner. There is no need to ever go back here.

This place just moved to a new location, and the place is georgous. It’s a shame that the food doesn’t compliment the ambiance. We ordered a pizza and cheese fries with bacon. The cheese fries were inedible. The cheese looked at tasted like plastic, while the fries were frozen. The best part was the bacon which was crispy. Honestly, I could have done better at home. The pizza was the best part of the meal, but it wasn’t that great either. It was full of grease, but it tasted good. Nothing special.

Had dinner for the first time since they reopened we had waited this long in hopes of them having all the bugs worked out. The service was one of the worst I have ever encountered and that says a lot since I travel all over the world. The pizza was good but the chicken Marcella was once again one of the worst. It was a chicken breast pounded flat and over cooked and had canned brown gravy poured over it filling the plate so much the string beans were floating. The beans were nice and fresh but way too much garlic and I like garlic a lot more than most. This is a pizzeria trying to be more than they are capable of so do yourself a favor and just get the pizza.

Good Food — Great Value at Giuseppe’s. We had never been here, but it was recommended by our babysitter(thanks Magaly!). I took the family here this past Friday night, and I’m glad I did. The place was packed but we were seated very quickly. We ordered some wings and a pizza — The pizza was REALLYGOOD, and the value of the wings(40 for $ 15) was amazing. We took the wings home and were still eating them on Sunday. I thought our server was good(she was friendly and took care of us), but overall the service wasn’t as good as I expected it would be; thus only 4 stars. I still gave her a generous tip and we will definitely be back here soon. If you’re in the area, you really can’t go wrong with this place. Great family restaurant!

I had not been inside Giuseppe’s Pizza since before my twelve year old was born. That is a life time in pizza years. After today’s basketball game in Churchville, we stopped in for a few slices and drinks to assuage the pain of another close loss. The pizza was as good as I remembered it. Strong enough dough to hold its point proudly without folding like a dog’s ear; minimal drip of oil from the face of the pie; and a serenely enjoyable first bite experience. My son’s first impression was equally positive. His comment to the effect that it was not quite as good as Marco’s in Newtown was well taken and subject to debate. Regardless, Giuseppe’s is in good company. We will need to explore the menu further by venturing into cheese steaks, parms, and pasta to consider moving up the star ranks.
