Chris Lantzer, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer-​Knowledge Assessed through CCPDT, apprenticed under Ginger Alpine and has studied under America’s best behaviorists and trainers including Patricia McConnell, Jean Donaldson, Pat Miller, Kathy Sdao, Sophia Yin DVM, among others. Chris is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, and an American Kennel Club (AKC) Canine Good Citizen Evaluator.

Woof Wise is a great overall experience!!! Chris is an excellent trainer! I have one fearful/​reactive dog and one normal dog and she is really patient, thorough, helpful, and good at keeping me on track in trying to reach my goals with my fearful dog and will also make sure we are both having fun and as stress free an experience as possible. We have done private and group classes and both have been excellent for him. My other dog is just a big goofy puppy who is fun and outgoing and Chris makes sure that we are challenged in class so we are always learning something, she is great about teaching at the level you need and that’s one of the things that’s always makes classes fun. I think between both dogs I have taken almost every class Chris offers and they’ve all been great and I will gladly take them all again knowing I’ll still be able to learn something new and perfect my skills.

Chris is excellent! I brought in my new rescue dog in as soon as I got him. He is a 1 yr old Australian Cattle Dog who is very shy and has issues with fear aggression. Chris has a wonderful understanding of this particularly difficult breed and helped me work with him and understand his quirky behaviors. His confidence has grown immensely and he can actually behave in public now (a huge step for him.) Because of his severe behavior issues he started with private lessons and was eventually able to graduate to group classes. The classes are enjoyable and fun.
