Customer service is atrocious. My husband and I rented a storage unit a year ago, and the day we did the paperwork, the office manager couldn’t have been more rude. He complained to us about having to answer phone calls, and complained about having to do our paperwork. He informed us that they don’t offer an autopay option, even though that’s clearly stated on the website, and then copped out by saying he just didn’t know how to do it. Still, we rented the unit, and didn’t have any more issues, after getting autopay resolved. Two weeks ago, we emptied our unit, and called to let him know. He didn’t answer or return my call, but I assumed it would be taken care of, because we left the unit door open, signaling that we were gone. Today, a payment was drafted from our account, and when we called to correct it, we were told that he had no idea our unit was empty. So obviously he does not care enough to check messages and return phone calls, and he also isn’t patrolling the units. He cancelled the unit as of today, but is unwilling to refund our money(again, because he doesn’t know how). Talk about unprofessional.
