Rodeway Inn & Suites

Wow! Superba hotel with the best rates in the town. Really enjoyed our stay. Was stuff was really courteous and knowledgeable Very helpful about Area. Rooms was really nicely decorated & full of every amenities you need.

I am currently staying here as the property is being renovated and updated.
When I pulled up to the hotel I thought Expedia has made a mistake, the parking lot was full of semi trailers and cardboard boxes and looked abandoned except for one or two cars. I almost turned around and left but decided to check in after speaking with the front desk clerk about the state of the property.
I am in a half-​way updated king bed room with nice (new!) furnishings that smells of fresh paint. This place has potential but isn’t quite there yet with the supposed updates. Things I noticed that need improvement:
1) There are too few towels in the room — two large, two hand towels and two wash cloths don’t really cut it for 3 people
2) The curtains and bed spread obviously don’t match the new décor scheme (honestly not a huge deal, just an observation)
3) Plaster dust pile in the corner of the bathroom from the reno and no complimentary toiletries
4) Mini fridge wasn’t plugged in prior to my arrival
5) No wifi (and tonight was the one time I actually needed it)!
6) Gap at the bottom of the door frame that I could see light through and it was hard to close/​open without yanking or pushing on door
7) Nickelodeon is the only kids channel offered on the TV, add Disney or Cartoon Network — my kiddo did not approve of the choices available :)
I think the renovations will be great when they are completed but maybe the owners should have closed up shop while the work is being done. It was super cheap at less than $ 60 for the night but I won’t be back until the updates are finished and customer service gets a little boost.
