My boss would kill me, if he knew I was writing. But, HERE HERE to Brooklyn. We had an issue w a leaking rear glass curtain. Water was coming in thru the stitching round perimeter of glass. The hole from the needle was too big n apparently they didn’t use a water barrier, that would seal the stitch hole. When we called Rev Skip, his solution was to give us a tire dressing. Rev claimed that would cause the thread to swell, thus closing the hole, right! We put 3 coats on as he suggested. Made no diff, leaked just as much! My boss called again, spoke to Dick, we suggested the glass was defectives. Ric then looked at our purchase history n made the decision, our low purchase history didn’t warrant a replacement. That he sent the tire dressing n must have applied it in correctly! We ordered a Robbins window, no leaks. Again my boss would kill me. But, somebody needs to here this! In my opinion, buy from ANYBODY else. Like Brooklyn Dean said. These people are selectively/​conveniently religious. Not customer friendly when there is a PROBLEM! Roy

I am so sorry to say that for a religious company that can write articles of the Lord can be so cruel to a loyal customers as my self that would help with Pattern for tops they didn’t make. for one day I fell sick which my recovery took months and sadly I owed a bill balance of 100.00 but the the family Kimberly, Rick, and skip all kept harassing me by phone over such a small amount of money after 26 years of of selling there products and helping when they needed well when I spoke to skip to make a payment by phone after I got better wow his tone with disrespect we don’t want your business and hung up over a customer that fell sick and owed electron top a balance of 100.00 well good luck Rick, skip, and Kimmie I hope the rest of your years go well daddy and mommy spoiled you kids it what’s in the hart god is first money is evil now look at yourself. Sadly, my convertible top installer chose to install an Electron Top on my car.
During the first year, the top layer of the top began migrating forward exposing the second layer that was attached to the rear window. Unfortunately, the second layer of the top was the same color as the top– so it was not clear that anything was wrong. It was not until after the two year warranty had expired that this layer began to fade to a grayish color. Clearly something was wrong with the top. But it is too late to get it replaced.
OK. If I had known what I was doing, I would have noticed the problem and used the warranty to get it fixed.
But this was not a well made top. I sent pictures to the company and received a reply saying «the extrusion that holds the top back has let go it’s not shrinkage» (sic).
Thanks alot Electron. I will have to replace it on my dime but it won’t be an electron. And BTW, I have noticed five year warranty’s on some tops but not yours. Wonder why!
