History

Established in 2006.

Advanced Home Energy (AHE) was founded in 2006 as a home performance contracting company with a focus on serving the residential market. Since its inception, AHE has become one of the top performing performance contracting companies in the greater bay. AHE has served hundreds of homes over the past years and has helped promote the need for reducing energy consumption and lowering our carbon footprint. AHE’s founding philosophy is to take pride in maintaining the highest possible standards of customer service and professional delivery.

In 2008 AHE developed an industry software package, HomePerform Suite, that is tailored for the home performance professional. HomePerform integrates numerous features and includes: client management, automated home performance reports and job quotes, customized mass mailing, and much more. HomePerform has been adopted by the California Building Performance Contractors Association and has been promoted to members throughout California.

Meet the Business Owner

Ori S.

Business Owner

Mr. Ori Skloot has over 10 years of experience working in the energy efficiency sector. He is a graduate of the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. Prior to joining AHE he was the co-​founder and Executive Director of the Rising Sun Energy Center in Berkeley.

Mr. Skloot also enjoys giving public presentations and training on home performance and energy efficiency. He has been featured on KTVU Channel 2 Bay Area People, has been interviewed numerous times on radio, and has taught classes at PG&E and numerous conferences.

Mr. Dvir Brakha has a graduated college in Israel with a focus on Systems Engineering. After college he moved to Texas and worked for a petroleum company. He quickly became disillusioned with the industry after learning about the environmental and social impacts of our society’s energy consumption. He moved to California and trained with the California Building Performance Contractors Association after which he founded AHE.
