Love the cupcakes! I usually am not a cupcake kinda gal but I loved the original textured flavor of Argyles! Especially the COCONUT! Thank you Argyle for a new experience.

Great atmosphere! Super friendly. Great variety of cupcakes and yogurt with the wonderful addition of a great atmosphere. Lots of allergen free options. Local gem!

I don’t understand why this place is not standing room only??? Great décor. Great cupcakes. Great yogurt choices and toppings.

So I got a livingsocial deal for this place and I was sooooo excited to try a new cupcake place in Richmond. And seeing that they had 4 stars on Unilocal,I was very excited-​however, I should have actually read some the reviews first, because I have to agree with their sentiments.
I walked in and the atmosphere was very nice. Cute little corner with a loveseat and then a booth like area along the wall. In the back they have the froyo machines and then off to the side of that was the station with all the toppings to put on your froyo.
At the register, they have cupcakes in a little cupcake stand. The cupcakes is what my livingsocial deal was for. I was excited and the representative working that morning was very knowledgeable and super duper friendly. I decided to try a half dozen: 2 dirt cakes, a red velvet, a smore, a strawberry like cupcake, and sea salted caramel (I will post a pic). While inside, I sampled a little of their froyo: cheecake and I cant remember the other flavor I tried –but they were good –nothing different from the other froyo shops IMO.
The cupcakes were a HUGE disappointment to me! And I was so sad about that because I wanted to love this place –because the worker was so nice and she told me a little background about the owners and they sound like really cool people. So I wanted to love this place, but the cupcakes fell extremely short — they were very dense, super dry and the flavors were not good at all. We ended up taking a small taste of each cupcake at home, but we discarded the entire box sadly. Out of the cupcakes that I had, I think the dirt cake was the better –but even still-​the consistency of the «dirt» on top the cupcake was gritty and I didn’t like that texture in my mouth. The salted caramel wasn’t really caramel flavored to me (hard to explain) and the other flavors were forgettable due to the dryness and denseness of the cupcakes.
I love pearls and I guess for now that will have to stay my go to for cupcakes. I may give this place another shot one day because I did like the place and their froyo was good. Cupcakes need some major adjustments and should go through some tastings prior to being released. Otherwise, cute little place to stop by for froyo with the family and the owners seem like a good couple. I wish them the best though and hope to update my review with better experiences in the future!

Sampled their cupcakes at a birthday gathering and was not impressed. The cupcakes were incredibly dense and super dry, The frosting was nothing special. The cupcakes looked beautiful, however.

I have always been of the belief that cake is something you must eat to get to the yummy frosting. I have been wrong, so very wrong. I picked up three different flavors of cupcakes: carrot cake, red velvet, and peanut butter cup. My family and I enjoyed all three flavors. The cake was so moist, that I would have eaten it without frosting. (I cannot believe I just stated that!) I will definitely be back, as diet permits. In addition, the young lady who assisted me was friendly, patient, and informative. She even offered to help me carry my cupcakes out to the car.

Kudos to this place for putting up those flashing batman lights. My fiancé and I were driving back from having sushi when I saw the lights in the sky. Naturally I wanted him to follow the lights. We pulled up and for me it was a sign! I was craving yogurt… So of course we had to try this! The yogurt was delicious, the place was clean and the staff were friendly. I love supporting local business so I will be back!

We dropped in for a quick snack. This is a privately owned biz instead of a chain, and is somewhat off of the beaten path, which means nice atmosphere, not loud and overcrowded. The froyo was great, loved the dulce de leche particularly, not sure why the other reviewer didn’t like the cup cakes; we tried the key lime cupcakes and they were fantastic. 5 stars for this local biz!

Umm freakin DELICIOUS! I had cheesecake and red velvet cupcake mix. Words cant describe the party in my mouth. Wait I found the words… IM IN LOVE!

Cupcakes, I order a lot of them for my customers, and everyone loves them! The Keylime, Peanut Butter and a few others are really good! Always a hit with my folks!
The Frozen Yogurt, pretty good, my kids love it! I’m not a froyo fan, but the Cheesecake flavor with some fresh strawberries, Delicious! The place is always Super-​Clean (which I appreciate), and everyone that works there is very nice! I’ve met the owner a few times, and she is very kind, and thankful for your business. You can tell she takes pride in her shop.
Really hope they do well, and add more space for a cupcake display! :-) …and later hours for summer on Fri-​Sat night!

I went here the other day with a friend and it was my first time visiting this establishment. Without further delay, here is my review.
The Good:
Hospitality– The employees in the restaurant were very nice and inviting when I walked into the establishment. They were very knowledgeable about the products and answered every question I had.
The Bad:
The Cupcake!!!- Imagine eating a corn muffin from Famous Daves, without any butter or any moistness. Thats how I could describe the cupcake. I had a Vanilla cupcake with icing on top and the cupcake itself was so dry it absorbed all the moisture in my mouth, making me have to search for the nearest beverage. It also lacked flavor and sweetness. The icing saved the cupcake from a major letdown.
Overall– The employees were super nice but the cupcakes were a huge miss. I could see myself coming back if the cupcakes improve. I never fully discredit any establishment that knows how to treat its customers. TWO STARS.

Best cupcakes in Richmond, and great froyo with toppings as well… also make fantastic coffee drinks. All in the best atmosphere bar none! Great job Argyle!
