Description

Specialties

Beauregard’s Thai Room is Richmond’s first Thai Restaurant, serving traditional Thai and Asian food in a beautiful, well-designed atmosphere. We serve delicious soups, appetizers, salads, chicken, beef, seafood, noodles and vegetarian dishes that are made with the best ingredients available. Our large dining area makes us the biggest Thai restaurant in Richmond, and our gorgeous outdoor patio is the perfect place to enjoy nice weather while you eat. The design was actually inspired by the famous Court of Two Sisters in New Orleans, and the atmosphere is breathtaking.

We also offer several decadent, homemade desserts and one-of-a-kind ice creams, including Kevorkian Chocolate and Mango Ice Cream. Consider hosting your next event at Beauregard’s, where we have a special sample menu selection for large groups and no room charge for parties. Our dining area seats 150, and is the perfect place to host your wedding rehearsal dinner, private party or corporate event.

History

Established in 1870.

Originally the Munford Home, circa 1870, the upstairs «Thai Room» seats 150 for lunch and dinner in a tasteful setting. In good weather (April through October) nothing competes with the Courtyard’s gas street lights, flowers, or the fountain’s koi. The Court of Two Sisters in New Orleans was the inspiration for this courtyard. The Gallery is an intimate room facing the courtyard and features original paintings by Lynn Blakemore and the serigraphs of Kerry Hallum, Barbara McCann and Brett Livingston-Strong.
