Brought my simple die into Chimes for a 1000 piece cut. I was told Tues afternoon it would be ready, By Wednesday it wasn’t ready. I called to ask when it would be ready to the «owner/​boss». I explained I had people waiting at my shop to start working with this piece and when might I get it?“
He told me to «go back to White-​ville, BOY» — (kept calling me «boy». I live in Lafayette. Said he would not give me the die back and to «go fuck yourself». I was so shook up I actually had 911 ready on my phone. He threatened me physically and I was quite worried. The office staff concurred that he was a bully and I should «get out of here immediately before something happens». Must be a running theme over at Chimes, clients and his staff are physically afraid of him.
MY ADVICE IS DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER CHIMES, this man is a bully and in my own opinion needs some serious psychological help. I certainly do not want to be near him again. He’s scary.
