This shop was recommended to me by a family friend who previously owned a bridal consignment shop here in Richmond. After ordering a bridesmaid dress I wasn’t able to try on before purchasing I had a major dress crisis and needed a long line bra to somewhat start fixing all the ills with the dress itself. One thing about Debbie’s Foundations is that they cater to an older crowd. Its two older women working there(think later 60s and up). The shop is filled with fake flowers displayed on the walls with minimal decorations beyond that. Personally, as a 25-year-old I wouldn’t shop here again for any type of undergarment needs. But in the midst of a crisis I was glad to just get what I needed and be done with it. Selection is fair– the same bras/brands you find at Macy’s, etc. They also sold bathing suits, night gowns, slips, and few accessories(sunglasses, costume jewelry) again all catered towards an older crowd. You are not going to find something for a honey moon or date night here– believe me. Overall the ladies were very nice, the store was clean and they even gave me a few recommendations for tailors in the area that they had used that I could use for the bridesmaid dress. I’m giving them 3-stars because although I wouldn’t personally shop here again, I think their customer service was great, the prices were in line with other stores and I don’t think its fair to knock stars off just because this isn’t my personal taste in «lingerie».
