ELNS has the most flexible preschool schedule in the West End. You can build your own schedule! Our loving environment will nurture your child and help them prepare for Kindergarten and beyond. The dedicated purpose of Epiphany’s Nursery School Staff and Board of Directors is to provide a group life in a nurturing setting which aids in the development of the young child. We feel that children learn best through play. Our teachers use developmentally appropriate practices to help your child grow socially, emotionally, cognitively, physically, and spiritually.

History

Established in 1972.

Epiphany Lutheran Nursery School was established by members of Epiphany Lutheran Church to provide a place for children to learn and grow. Over the years we have added more ages and classes and now serve children 1 year — Junior Kindergarten in preparing for elementary school and the world beyond.

Manager

Jessica Hendricks became Director of Epiphany Lutheran Nursery School in July 2012. She has a degree from Virginia Tech in Communication and an Early Childhood Education Certificate from John Tyler Community College. She has worked in various positions in preschools since 2006.
