Epoch offers Richmond’s most exciting selection of Mid-​Century Modern furniture, live edge tables, handcrafted and custom furniture, industrial chic pieces, and eclectic décor. New dressers, credenzas, chairs, sofas, and dining sets arrive weekly, and the owners are always happy to hear your wish list if you don’t find exactly what you need. An array of original furniture is made to order at Epoch’s full service woodshop, and custom design is available by request.

History

Established in 2013.

Colena Hammond and Jake Moore founded Epoch in 2013 to provide Richmond with the finest furniture and décor from the 1950s and 60s. The business soon expanded from restoration into custom building and eventually original design. Our full service wood shop in Ashland produces small batch and custom furniture, while our retail space in South Richmond showcases both our vintage collection and original designs. Instead of using a conventional storefront, we stage our furniture in a 1962 tri-​level home, which offers the most natural setting for our mid-​century pieces.
