The salon is a little janky, and the neighborhood is pretty sketchy(dressed in baggy sweats, I got harassed by creepers several times on the 1 block walk from my car), but Candy sure does great eyebrows! Considering that future waxes will only be $ 15, I’m impressed.

I’ve only been to the location in Richmond which is far from a spa style although they do try to create a relaxing atmosphere. I went for waxing and I can say CHERRYISGREAT! I’ve never had anyone design my brows as she did. I recommended my mom who loved the lash extensions & became a frequent client. I also got my friend in the loop who loved the facial & body waxing. HOWEVER, you cannot go to just anyone in the shop & get the same treatment! When others besides the owner did mom’s lashes it turned out awful. They looked all funky & weird; she had to go back to get them fixed. Then she stopped going. My friend & I both tried someone other then Cherry for waxing & the waxer missing spots on my friend and I had to point out that my brows were uneven. The specialists agreed and promptly fixed it. But shouldn’t they had caught these things? This was summer/fall last year so maybe things are better now. I was going to try it again this year but I called & left a msg & no one ever got back to me. I never complained to them so they had no reason to not call back. It seems that their good but not on consistancy. Preceed cautiously and know your specialists!

Calling this place a «spa» is a real stretch. It’s in a run-down neighborhood with bars on the doors and windows. The staff is friendly and seem competent. My eyelash extensions, however, came off in about 2 weeks taking my real lashes with them. It would have been helpful to get some instruction on the best way to care for them. The long process of having the lashes applied was done in what appeared to be a garden lounge chair in a small cinder block room. Not very luxurious or relaxing and definitely not like most spas I’ve been to. Overall, I think the staff is nice, but I won’t be going back. Perhaps, the Hayward location is nicer.
