I’ve never written a review for a mental-​health professional before, but other patients should know what my family found out the hard way. At least in my experience, Dr. Gould dispensed pills without paying the necessary attention to the patient’s situation. I would go to appointments during which he had not looked at my chart, would ask me what I was on and at what dose, and would write me a prescription for that again. If I’d just needed a refill I would’ve called. I wanted help from a professional adjusting the medication and dosage until I found the right combination for me. He gave little consideration to how it was going or whether there were better options. In and out in 4 minutes (after a 60-​minute wait). Dangerous.
Caveat: This was from several years ago. If what I heard from a local therapist is true, this is still the MO. :(
