Everything tastes great here– enchiladas, tacos, sandwiches, and they even have a great salad. And the portions are ridiculous, you can feed two people with one burrito for real. The service is pretty fast, but it’s not great after that. You kind of have to catch the waitress’ eye to get anything else. But some of the complaints I saw in other reviews are exaggerating how bad the service is; it’s not thaaaat bad. Overall, great place to come– and I almost forgot the amazing horchata. Soccer is usually on the TV if you’re into that like me.

When you are at the hospital across the street and starving — this place isn’t bad. I wouldn’t order the shrimp salad again though as several of my shrimp still had poop in them. If they totallllllyyyy deveined their shrimp — I’d be here everyday. The quesidillas and nachos are amazeballs. The chips and salsa is also very good. The chips are crunchy but not too hard and the salsa is spicy but no unbearable. seems like a small family owned business. the service was fast and fair.

Coming into this Mexican restaurant I had high hopes. I read the reviews and thought I found a good Mexican themed restaurant. Food– I got the super burrito and agua de sandia. I’m going to be honest, yes it fills you up. Was it a good burrito? It was decent. Nothing to rave about. Now the agua de sandia. That was delicious. I would go back just for that. Atmosphere– little outdated. But nice enough. Service– a little confuse coming in. Didn’t know if we were going to be seated or we could choose. Also the waitresses kinda huddled up together and not really paying attention.

Good food and swift service… Super burritos are good… All meats are tender… Chorizo is money!!! Hacienda salad is really tasty with the blue cheese crumbles!!! Sometimes the refills are slow but that is not a deal breaker… Chile relleno is tasty… Tacos are delicious and the combo plates are good size!!!

Good place when you need a homely mexican restaurant. I loke their combo plates especially their beef tacos and shrimp tacos. The burritos are also good especially the super burrito, quite large. I especially like how they have homemade juices such as watermelon, pineapple, orange juice and horchata. Its across the street from Kaiser Hospital so its a great place when you have to go visit the Hospital.

The«sopes» were great! It’s nice to find a place where the«sopa de arroz» is rich in flavor and the beans have cheese. The vegetables were fresh and the meat«de carnitas» was plentiful. $ 9

My boyfriend and I absolutely love this place! We’ve been having breakfast here for over 4 years and have never been disappointed. The owner is so friendly and attentive and recognizes us each time we go, making our experience that much better. On to the food… my absolute favorite breakfast dish is the breakfast egg and bacon burrito. I have never tasted a breakfast burrito quite like this one! It’s delicious! The beans and seasoned potatoes that accompany the burrito are equally tasty and flavorful. I have visited Mexico, so I am well aware of what constitutes an authentic mexican dish. I can go as far as to say that the food here has that authentic mexican taste,(what I like to call sazón) that truly makes it stand out from food offered at other similar restaurants. If you’re ever around the area, make sure you give this place a try, I’m sure you will love it! Cinco Estrellas!(Five Stars!!) :)

I eat here at least once a month. The Mexican breakfasts are fabulous. Remind me of my dad’s breakfasts. My dad always said you can tell a good mexican restaurant by how good the beans are. Hacienda Grill’s beans are to die for! I have never eaten anything here I haven’t liked or loved. Enjoy!

Place was empty when I arrived. Food was ready promptly, and it was good. Then more people came… And they never came back to offer me more water or anything else. Waited 20 minutes to get refill on my water cup, and the check. Honestly, they have an awful customer services. Never again.

I’ve been coming here for about 6 years because it’s the only restaurant within walking distance from my office. Serving sizes are really big. I recommend the Hacienda Salad, it is probably the best thing on the menu. Their chicken enchiladas are great too. Burritos can be split between 3 people, that is NOT a typo. It is literally as big as your forearm. The carne asada plate is also very good. Camarones a la diabla is just ok, they use ketchup in it. haha. Their chips are pretty greasy, but the salsa that comes with them is good and spicy. Their agua frescas are served in big glasses. If you want something filling, come here. You’ll be full for hours.

This place is the for real! My family and I go to this place frequently and this place gives you nice portions, chips with your order(most burrito places don’t) and their lemonade is out of this world(as is all of their food). This place is officially our new burrito spot in the bay area. This place is awesome!

Their food is super delicious, the margaritas were on point, clean restaurant, large menu, and lots of parking. Unfortunately, my husband and I had such poor service that I doubt we will ever return. We never got any refills… We would have ordered multiple margaritas given the chance but ended up not finishing our meals because we had to hit a 7⁄11 for bottled water. Maybe we will come back and bring our own drinks? Also the waitress was not overloaded busy or doing anything that would keep her away from our table… She was cleaning the counter around the register while talking to various other employees. My apologies for biting the head off of the waitress that cashed us out… She took very good care of her patrons.

On an early morning shift I stopped here after driving to Angel’s and waiting an hour for them to open(Never Again!). I left hungry thinking where on earth am I going to find another decent breakfast burrito this early? Look no further, Hacienda Grill has you fully covered! The breakfast burritos here are huge and delicious smothered in a spicy gravy. The large burrito was filled with a veggie mix of bell peppers, onions, eggs, potatoes, garlic, and was nicely seasoned! Served with rice and beans on the side of the already enormous burrito! During the storm a few weeks back I ordered take out. This time opting for the veggie chimichanga. The chimichanga was not filled with normal burrito offerings. This was definitely a fusion burrito fried hard and filled with water chestnuts, peppers, carrots, and baby corn. Topped with guacamole, salsa fresco and parmesan. Not bad but not worth eating the following day. As the size of the burrito carried over to the chimichanga, I ended up having leftovers. The next day I questioned how I got through it the first time as the look of the chimichanga was unappealing. The plus side: agua frescas are always fresh and refreshing. The breakfast burritos are on point! Beans and rice are also delicious! The down side: the chimichanga was too fusion-ey for me. Parm and Asian veggie mix with salsa? Not really my go-to I’ve had worse, but not ordering that again. Will return when craving a yummy breakfast burrito sized to satisfy.

Hacienda Grill is still one of our favorites! They have been around for 11 years and are planning on open in a restaurant in Vallejo in January This time around: I ordered the Chile Relleño plate which comes with rice and beans This is still the BEST chile relleño I’ve had. And I’ve ordered it at many Mexican restaurants over the decades. Mr Rinky had his usual veggie burrito – whole black beans, rice, gilled veggies and salsa. Perfection! My aunt J(a HG Newbie) loved her chicken enchilada in tomatillo sauce served with rice and beans. I also had an orange agua fresco – which still comes in a HUGE glass. Once again our fellow diners consisted of families, couples. police officers, Kaiser staff and miscellaneous groups like ours.

This spot conveniently located across the street from Kaiser Richmond which was the only reason I visited. I was on the run from the hospital and needed something fast that I could eat while mobile I didn’t have time to sit. I ordered a shrimp super burrito which I thought would be easy. The only reason I am giving two starts today is because the burrito wasn’t wrapped very well, from the first bite most of the contents were all over the place. It was a really good burrito; shrimp in every bite but I was a bit disappointed that with every bite rice, beans, guac, etc. ended up everywhere. I am not saying that eating a burrito isn’t supposed to be messy but this one was a bit excessive for me this day. I will be back though!

Wet carne asada burrito. Descent price. Makes work go by so much faster(partially due to the food coma that ensues). Really a great place to grab a good burrito and take back to work. And best of all, they got a parking lot. Easy to get there, easy to get your food. Great for a business lunch outing too.

I’ve come here quite often, but this time their chips and salsa was sub par. The chips were burnt and should’ve never been served, and their salsa had too much tomato and not enough spice. On the flip side, their main course are always spot on and well flavored. I ordered a tostada salad. The flavors were flavorful and even the beans had a nice mild taste to it(and not like paste). The rice were not mushy and the arrangement was apetizing.

I was waiting for my partner to be done with a procedure next door at Kaiser. Just looking for something that would give me coffee or maybe something to eat. Just really needed to kill time. I was happy to see a my weakness on the menu… breakfast burrito! The staff were just opening up and were very nice since I was their first customer. The food was fantastic and I would go back in heartbeat if I was in that area again.
