History

Established in 1976.

James P. Richardson CPA, Inc. is the successor firm of White Richardson LLP and Clarence White, CPA, which operated thirty years from 1976 to 2006 in Richmond, California. The firm, in its thirty-​fourth year, is structured such that the Proprietor serves as the executive in charge of all engagements of the firm. Currently the firm employs five full-​time professional staff, a paraprofessional bookkeeper, a part-​time tax preparer and an administrative support person.

Business Owner

25 years operating as practicing CPA Business Owner. Emphasis has been audits of NPOs having government support, transit authorities, municipalities, limited partnerships with tax credit funding. We also provide accounting services, consulting services and prepare tax returns for individuals, small businesses, partnerships and NPOs. Our practice has a neighborhood focus serving the local and regional communities. We are currently developing expertise in fiduciary accounting, family law supportive services, litigation supportive services and business valuations. The firm is a member of the AICPA Private Companies Practice Section, Government Audit Quality Center and the Forensic and Valuation Services Section.
