Joy Lewis, RNC

Joy is awesome– she’s a nurse practitioner, and is really easy to get an appt with, so if you are in a pinch she’ll see you quickly.
I saw her recently and I instantly felt like I could trust her. She spent time asking me about my past history, symptoms and other conditions that may be effecting me… and she explained what she thought my issue was and what my options were for dealing with it.
She also gave me some great advice while I was there, and she was really motivational and kind. I felt like I could tell her more than just my «symptoms» and she’d be able to help me out. And she did. She gave me some awesome local resources to check out, and her vote of confidence as well :) And, she told me when I needed my next appt to ask for her specifically. She clearly is very dedicated to her patients, kind and knowledgable and an all-​around stellar NP.
Prior to meeting her I would have said all my experiences with NPs have been that they were interested in getting patients in and out the door, or upselling them on tests they don’t need… but Joy proved that NPs CAN be just as good, if not way better, than seeing someone with an MD behind their name.
