I really like this park. Simple, fenced, and trees offering shade. It would be perfect with one or two small picnic tables but it has a little umm, wooden border? I’m forgetting the word, …well somewhere you can sit that’s not technically a chair but works hahaha. Oh and wear tennis shoes not sandals because it’s wood chips

Fenced little neighborhood park that my kiddo enjoys and plays at all the time. It is basic play equip. which is larger toddler sized and up optimal. All bark on the ground.

It’s fenced in which is awesome if you have a speedy kiddo or I guess dog. No sand or cushioned floor but that’s for sissies, this park has tree bark shredded stuff perfect for little splinters. It’s just half a block away from liquor store and mailbox, just fyi.

Unilocal100CHALLENGE201422⁄100 We live within walking distance to this playlot and my one year old loves to take a walk here. It’s not a huge park, but definitely big enough. It’s clean & tidy, and never very crowded. Great place to take the kids!

Kern playlot seems to be where an d house was. One of the best things about the Bay Area that we love so much is that quite often it’s gentrification goes back to nature! We love nature. I love that the park stays clean most often times. Sometime there are kids(teen) and shady characters hang out in the back of the lot, but it’s seldom; not as shady as those at wildcat. Chaucer seems to LOVE this place… In fact he kinda thinks he owns it, lol! He must investigate(sniff) anyone who enters his kingdom! Super friendly welcoming for all! Seriously, if you want a chill spot instead of a full on dog park, come here! Everyone is family. PS: My only criticism is that they could use a water fountain after all this play!

So I just found out about this«lot» and I love it! I obviously didnt grow up around here but have lived in the Bay for 13 years. I recently moved into San Pablo and usually go to Point Pinole park or El cerrito dog park to take my dog for a walk! When I discovered this lot i fell in love right away! It has a play area for the kids(I have none) and its pretty spacious and closed off so my puppy can run as he pleases! I get to swing he gets to sniff! Pretty good place for when Im too lazy to drive anywhere(I can walk here from my home as well 15 mins) and he gets the freedom to run and explore!
