Friendly bunch who were extremely patient with a gal who wasnt to knowledgeable. Unfortunately today I went in for o2 sensor and was told the sensor alone would cost $ 268…I then called the Hyundai dealership and was told the part would be $ 233. How is it your part is more then the dealer part? After being told the part brand I went to autozone and found the NGK part on their site for 146. Again friendly bunch but either they are getting screwed by there parts warehouse or they thought they could overcharge me because I seemed nieve. Maybe this is a one off occurence but i suggest you ensure you are getting fair pricing on the parts they offer.

This was by far the worst auto shop I have ever taken any of my car to. Dishonest mechanics. I was quoted around 1,300 for a job that required little labor and was told it was high because certain parts had to come from the dealership. After getting this quote I found the parts I «needed» on my usual parts website. Getting my car towed there was a huge waste of money and a big regret. Take your car anywhere before you take it here.

We trust our cars to Leete without reservation. They’ve always been accommodating, friendly, and accurate. We’ve never had to have them do rework. Highly recommended.

First I would like to say I was a customer for at least 15 years. We have multiple cars and all were serviced by Leete. Ver few if any problems. I set up an appointment a a week ahead for an inspection. I actually let them tell the best day. The car was dropped off by 8:30. I let them know I needed the car by 4:30. At 3 I called to check and was informed they could not get to it that day. As a long time customer I was extremely upset with the lack of professionalism. No phone the day before saying they were that backed. Nothing when I dropped it off that it would not get done that day. I cannot deal with them to fix my car if they can’t keep an appointment made a week ahead of time. I hate to see a good business go down let their customer service slide. I can no longer recommend Leete as an acceptable auto service option.

don’t go here! APPARENTLY the mechanics don’t know how to use a impact wrench. The proper way is to hand tread on the bolts. Not treading them on or mounting any part with the impact wrench! (for leetes information) The impact wrench is for removing bolts. So these so call professionals cross treaded my lugs on the driver side! I knew something was up when they said my power steering fluid was leaking. I don’t have power steering! So if you want your car fucked up more than it was and get a trumped up bill for features your car doesn’t even have? Go on down to leete’s and let some high school drop outs cross tread your vehicle and over charge you!

Absolute crooks.
I was about to drive my car to Texas for grad school and dropped it off at Leete for an oil change/​inspection. I got a call from them several hours later telling me that my brake pads were very thin and asking if I wanted to replace them (which would run me close to $ 200). I decided to say no and got my car from the shop with a new sticker of inspection and a checked off list stating that my car was in good condition according to the safety inspection. I was told that I had a few weeks left on my brake pads.
Believing them, I brought the car to my family mechanic to get my brake pads changed. (I figured it would be cheaper). However I got a call from them about 20 minutes later telling me that my brake pads were fine– they weren’t even half way worn down. So Leete lied to me and tried to rip me off.
I was pissed but decided to just let it go and to get on with my trip to Texas. On the way down my A/​C suddenly stopped working. It turns out the clutch in my compressor was shot and my refrigerant was extremely low. Fast forward to today and my car won’t start. Turns out my alternator is shot.
I have had this car for years. It has never once broken down or had a problem. In the past 3 weeks it has had several major mechanical issues. Not only did Leete tire not do a proper state inspection on my vehicle, they tried to take advantage of the fact that I was a young chick who probably didn’t know anything about her vehicle.
Please. Please. Do NOT go here. They are about as crooked as they get.

With a location that is convenient to my workplace and super friendly staff, it is hard to beat Leete. I bought a new set of tires from Leete two years ago and have been very happy with them. Free rotation for the life of the tires is a nice bonus. I have also had my state inspection done here for the last three years. I’ve never had any major issues come up as a result of the inspections or felt like anyone was trying to sell me a service I didn’t need.

Wes, the new manager of Leete Tire, sent me a private message here on Unilocal a few weeks ago promising that the «bad seed» was out of the company and he would try to get my issue fixed, free of charge. When asked if I needed any other services performed, I told them I could use an oil change.
Wes told me he would order the appropriate parts and have them in stock.
They told me my tire pressure was not adjusted correctly, which I thought was a joke at first, but they were being serious. So, I paid for my oil change (wasn’t comped), got back in my car, and later that evening, the light on my dash came back on again.
I spoke to Wes today. He said that not only did he never order any parts, he gave me a completely different story about how my vehicle doesn’t have a tire pressure monitoring system in the tires. While there may be some validity to that, he got me in the door for one additional service (that I had to pay for despite my dissatisfaction), and I feel it ended up as getting me in the door to give them more money, not to help out the customer.
I still have that light on my dash, and it’s not going away.
Please, never, ever take your car to these people. They will do anything to sidestep or change a story to make their business model work better. The oil changes may be fine, but I wouldn’t take my car here if it was the only mechanic available in the world and my car was breaking down during a zombie invasion.

I’ve been taking my old Jeep to Leete for a few years now. I’ve found them to be fair with their pricing, informative, honest, and very reliable. The Jeep won’t quit, and I drive it hard… this is a testament to quality work that’s been done under the hood. Add to this the fact that when I put my vehicle in the shop in the morning, it’s always been ready for me the same day!
Call ahead to make an appointment. These guys are busy, and rightfully so.

I’m glad to see that they finally responded — almost a year later.
The fact is that I had my car towed to their garage very late one night. I guess they realized that they had me backed against a wall because they offered to replace my alternator and battery for almost $ 500. Not knowing better, I agreed. After some research online, I realized that they were taking advantage of me. I was able to get the car to Carroll’s on Leigh St, they fixed the alternator for $ 150, and told me that I didn’t need a new battery. After paying Leete to remove the parts, and paying Carroll to make the repairs, I still spent less than what they had quoted me at Leete.
This doesn’t come down to a misunderstanding or simply dissatisfaction. It comes down to Leete trying to take advantage of me. I’m sure that they are honest nine times out of ten, but mechanics are judged by the quality of their work, and their honesty. How do you know you aren’t the tenth customer?

I’ve been going to Leete for a couple of years now and they have saved me tons of money on repairs. They replaced my timing belt for $ 300 less than what I was quoted other places. I have always had quick and courteous service there. It’s one of those neighborhood type places, the guys will try to get to know you and make an effort to remember you and your preferences. I will definitely keep taking my car there!

A pretty shitty place, will take my car elsewhere in the future…
They are overpriced, very slow and not particularly knowledgeable. I went there b/​c their location is convenient to my office.
I will only take my car to Performance Autosport in the future. They are less expensive, more knowledgeable, quicker in getting work done, and far more courteous.

I called for an inspection and they got me in and out in under and hour. I have friends who swear by them and now I see why. They did my inspection for $ 16.00. A friend who was going to be charged 1600 dollars to have the timing belt changed on his Audi 1.8T (which includes water pump) was quoted $ 800 at Leetes. When asked why, they replied, «we have the special tools to do the job, not many places do and dealers charge you for the tools»
They also offer great prices on detailing so if you are looking to get the «full Monty» when bringing your car in for service this is another time saver. They do pretty much everything and are a nice group of people. Recommended for sure!

I’ve been meaning to write this one for a couple weeks. It’s not often you get affordable & timely work from an unfamiliar mechanic without a personal reference. I read a review on this shop here on Unilocal and gave them a call. The gentleman I spoke to, Jim, was professional and knowledgeable.
Backstory: I needed a new battery and went down to AutoZone to do it. They were too busy to put it in so I started to do it myself. After discovering some corrosion on the ports (that had basically welded to my battery) I asked for help and waited because I didn’t want to destroy my terminals. The AutoZone dude banged on my battery with a wrench and bent the nuts and destroyed the bolts on my ports so that they would not fasten to the battery. The car died every time I turned it off for two days. I needed new «ends» on the ports. Easy fix but Leete did it on time and for next to nothing. I was in a bind with some travels the next day and needed some help. I’m going back next time I need anything.
