Morning Dew Landscaping is 2011’s reciepient of the «Best Landscaping Award» from the Home Builder’s Assoc – a trade group of similar and highly respected artisans.

Morning Dew Landscaping is Vermont’s premier natural stonework business. We are highly versed in every natural stone material currently on the market as well as locally available and hard to find materials.

Our artisans are highly competent, extremely creative, and have years of hands-​on experience working with a diverse selection of materials in a variety of applications, creating landscapes that are second to none.

We are also a highly skilled group of plant professionals, creating landscapes using unique plants and plant combinations that fuse with our stonework to create visionary landscapes. Owner Matt Leonetti has been a Vermont Certified Horticulturist for over 8 years and has a degree in the Plant Sciences and Landscape Design.

History

Established in 2004.

The business was established in 2004 after a 2 year apprenticeship learning the art and trade of stonework. Business has grown steadily through the years as our reputaion has grown and we have expanded in a responsible and judicious manner. Today, we have the capabilities to address just about any residential landscape problem and offer cost effective and long-​term solutions. We fully guarantee our work and stand behind our commitment to not just the final product but the process as well.

Business Owner

Matt Leonetti’s horticultural career began at an eary age back in Northeastern Ohio. Originally involved with a lawn care and maintenance company for several years before becoming one of only two licensed chemical applicators for a national tree and shrub care company.

During his tenure at Univ. of VT, Matt worked closely with the Intervale Foundation doing compost based potting media research that ultimately culminated in another product, The Intervale’s Organic Potting Soil, being added to their current product line. Matt was also a strong fixture and eventual manager of a UVM affiliated student-​run organic CSA.

Matt continues to push himself educationally, taking courses around the country, networking with nursery professionals and striving to become the most well rounded and best versed in the horticultural industry.
